Damn how I hate this. I talked with my host that in case I'll run out of bw they'll automatically rebill me for another monthly plan, hmm I guess its time to change the host. Pornlucky will be online soon ! Please dont blacklist me.

See my sig fro a host with great support that is more then happy to bill you when you go over your BW and not fucking turn off your domains.

At least you are showing up as internal server error and not a 404 error. Wow you sure have a lot of sites listed with me. :)

Now thats hillarious , im waiting 8 hours for some prick to respond to my ticket I opened. Other guy from the same company said via ICQ that "It can take up to 24 hours for billing departament to answer".

If your were on shared hosting they may have turned off your domain so that you didn't overload the server. You really do want to have your own server. With how much you build this should not be a problem for you. :)

That sucks, our philosophy is to contact the client when they are going over their limits and work out a deal that is best for them (either bill them for overages or retroactively move them up to a bigger plan thus saving them the overage bills).

Cleo, even if he is on a shared host, you would think the hosting company would not oversell their servers such that they can't handle a little overage on one account!

No, I don't work for them and no I don't get a commission I'm just going to throw their name out there because they've been good.
Amateur Hosting (amateurhosting.com) has been great for me! If you go over, they don't turn off your account. You just pay for it on your monthly bill. No sudden shutting off of your sites.

HarryMuff had his sites turned off for a short period today too. His host said he was over using shared hosting resources.. not sure what thinking is at a hosting company when they think its a good idea to alienate a webmaster as they get bigger.. would work well as an innovative marketing concept to contact people and offer to take some etxra money from them to move the lot to a brand new dedicated box or give a choice to pay overages, before shutting them down!

@blind: yes, but as it turned out they were only good when there was no real problem.
Now my hands are shaking - I have to check if my sites are still on few places...

I've been with Webair since I went to paid hosting, and they've been great to me. I was able to start with a very small package, and work my way up to what I have today. The upgrades were painless, and if I was upgrading, I wasn't charged any overages (if I had went over). Their support has been wonderful (both tech and billing). To my knowledge, I have only had one time of sites being down, and it wasn't lengthy.

So I'm a happy Webair camper.

My .02 cents.

I'm not sure how much you are saving or whatever is the reason that you still have not moved to a new host but nothing can be worth all the listings you are losing that took you all this time to build up.

Well its up again, and you wont believe it - these fuckers forgot to add the extra GB's when I was upgrading from plan A to plan B and in fact I exceeded the plan A'a limit. They put in online again, no "We're sorry" nothing.
Curious why I was disconnected second time ? I overused 0.50 GB so they decided to cut me off again, they couldnt predict that If yesterday I exceeded my usage after they put it back online I'll exceed again within minutes.
I bought my plan at webair , and now Im waiting for them to move my stuff.
