Lots of snow again

I just checked out the weather maps and a few forcasts. We have a lot of snow coming later today and for the next few days.

A few years ago, we got so much snow that my truck and myself were forced by the local police and fire department to go into town and plow. I have to admit, it was fun :) Anyway, we are looking at a couple of feet over the next few days.

Cleo 2005-02-28 08:41 AM

Let it snow… lots of it making it impossible to leave the house. Nothing to do but surf for porn, let it snow.

Useless 2005-02-28 08:42 AM

Right now we're being told 6-10 fluffy inches, but they also say that there are too many variables that could shift it either way. They call themselves scientists? I have a friend who drives a town plow and he said expect much more. I think I'm going with my toothless friend on this one.

Hi Jim...

Did you say A COUPLE OF FEET?

aw nuts....
|cry|

Jim 2005-02-28 08:43 AM

I am tired of the snow. My other house is out of heating oil and I really don't want to spend another $600 to heat a home I no longer live in. So, I am going to have to start putting 5 or 10 gallons of oil in every day. A big pain in the ass.

Do you also buy just a few bucks of gas at the pump instead of filling up at the pump?

A couple of Christmas's ago, we got 4 feet in 24 hours. The first and only time my truck got stuck trying to move snow. We live in a valley and there are times, we get a lot of snow when someone 5 miles away gets none.

Excuse me while I go put on sun tan lotion....

Greenguy 2005-02-28 09:25 AM

I feel slighted over here in Buffalo - only 2-4 inches of snow forecasted for us :(

HC-Majick 2005-02-28 09:39 AM

forecast right now is for 8-12 inches here by tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Ramster 2005-02-28 10:28 AM

We're suppose to get a lot of snow tonight and tomorrow too. About 8-10 inches or so.

It's gonna make the cruise I leave for on Friday ALL that much better. |sun

MrMaryLou 2005-02-28 10:31 AM

Snowed in peeps = Sales :)

Cleo 2005-02-28 10:38 AM

No sunshine here today.
Looks like rain later and it is already 76°F so I have my A/C on.

swedguy 2005-02-28 10:55 AM

I was putting up a shelf in the hallway for my DSL. Took about half an hour, when I got into the livingroom again it was WHITE outside. So much snow coming down.

View over Turning Torso through a lot of snow :D

They've pushed back the start of the snow here north of Syracuse to 6pm.

Doesnt matter much to me since I have 8 inches or so already on my driveway built up from the last week or so of everyday snowfall. So I'm shovelling later on regardless..

HC-Majick 2005-02-28 03:03 PM

it just started here an hour or so ago in corning. light stuff right now.

T Pat 2005-02-28 04:53 PM

Last night, listening to the weather I have to admit it made me smile when the weatherman said it looked like San Diego was going to be sunny and in the low 70's by midweek. It made me chuckle when the weatherman said "our storm we had last week is bringing lots of snow back east" shareing is a good thing

If you feel like sharing, send some of those brown skinned honies my way, not storms.

Were North of Syracuse? I used to work in Phoenix.

susanna 2005-02-28 06:12 PM

Ok I am in Thunder Bay ON Canada... we officially have more snow then any of you folks! It has snowed more then the last 15 years combined I swear. We got a big dump again last night. I am getting plenty tired of the stuff. The past ten years we had maybe 2 feet come after christmas and gone first of Feb... which is unseasonal. Everyone keeps saying this year is the way its suppose to be! |shocking|

My kids have to wear snowboots. They hate that LOL

digifan 2005-02-28 06:43 PM

Lots of snow and extra cold weather here too.. I have no idea where to put this extra snow after shoveling... :(

We did finally get a good dose of snow yesterday - about 6 inches.

Everything is nice & white & pretty :)

Jim 2005-03-03 06:47 AM

We got more yesterday too. Not a lot, just enough to piss everyone off :)

pornrex 2005-03-03 06:49 AM

We got about 12 inches in the last 2-3 days.

Next Feb, I'm states side. Arizona I think...|sun

PR_Tom 2005-03-03 10:47 AM
