Findpics gets renovated
 

The design elves have been through the entire place, and findpics has a new look and style. I like it (I guess that's why I did it!), and I am sure you will too!

Any opinions, ideas, suggestions, comments... i am all for it.

No, the new one is at the bottom of the page, near the actual submit area. It is very slightly changed (and I will still accept the previous red version without issue).

Thanks, I have been making my own text links. Pleas let me know if there is any problem with doing that.

I have no problem with "make your own text links" providing those links are similar in size and scope to other links on the page, etc. My preference is to the words used in the standard text links (at least some of them)... ;-)

The CSS on the links from black->white is sorta hard on the eyes... something like black->green might be a little easier. Just a thought! :)

Verbal, I was looking at that... but there are places where I have black on color, other places where i have black brighter color, etc. I tried a few, and they all looked pretty washed out. It is still on the list of things to work on, I am not satisfied with it quite yet.

Today and tomorrow will be the ramp up of the video sections... :-)

Ynuahayt, give me some example URLs and I will go have a look... you should always get a confirmation of submissions, unless somehow you have ended up on the "no list" list...

The return links aren't all right (greenguy's is stuffed to one side, smut gremlin one isn't functional, etc). Please the thumbs are squished / not correct proportion to the image. If you want to make square thumbs, you need to CROP them to size, not force them, otherwise the aspect ratios are all off.

Also, hentai is one of the hardest cats on my site to get listed on, I am very fussy because there really isn't that much good stuff out there...I probably list 1 in 10 in that cat. While it isn't the case in your site, I don't normally accept anime sites that have pixilated or hidden genital areas (japanese standard). I don't accept it for regular submits, so why should I accept it for a toon?

Ok it was some dumb sites I took since they were the first I made, I used XHTML back then which fucks up the recips you mentioned - I'm back to HTML 4.0 now ;). I got ARLES now for thumbs so they got the right ratios now. And I understand whatcha saying about hentai censoring, I have made one site with that which also got rejected a lot of places, so from now on I will only make sites where you can see the action :).

Here's just a newer site, but I was also wondering if you had seen the sites in your admin and rejected them or if they are getting filetered out?

Actually, I have recently seen a number of "hentai teasers" sites that have been very good, selecting topless and teasing pics rather than pure hardcore. I actually found them much more pleasant and enjoyable.

As for this site, I can't list it because of this type of image:

Opti, thanks... it takes a while to really get google and yahoo's full attention, but I think it should work out pretty well. I am also hoping that having a few movie of the day in every section will encourage people to click around and see the whole site, and possibly drive up the outgoing traffic in those sections.

All the feedback mail I have gotten has been good as well, so I am pretty happy about it. :)
