Found domain name in blacklist :(

I found my domain name "porn-lovers.com"
in this blacklist:
http://bl.usefulscripts.com/blocked/

Reason: 3fn.net host

So, I have moved my sites to another hosting company.
And have already sent apeal...

Could you delete it from the blacklist ASAP, because I want to submit new sites :)

I've seen people getting banned for using the hosting service of a company that others are using to sell illegal porn OR unwanted porn - understand it however you want to. People here want EVERYBODY to know that what we're doing is LEGAL. That is just another way to say "hey, we're honest and we want to make sure we work with honest people, so please change your hosting - that's a good way to gain our trust". If you're honest webmaster, just move on to a hosting company that is not banned and have some respect or recommended from the board members.

Thanks for the link. I found an old site of mine there that used to be on Smutserver, but I woved it when Smutserver was sold. It is now with Cyberwurx. How do I appeal? There isn't an appeal link next to the entry on the page.

Send in an appeal if you haven't already done so - I'm not the only one that uses this blacklist.

I sent an appeal 3 days ago, still no reply.

The appeal link just doesn't appear for me, but I'll send in a standard email. Is there a better addy than to one at the bottom?

Alternatively - do I just forget about using this domain?

from my experience most LL owners just ignore these appeals. so, Netmax, forget about this domain and buy a new one.

I did take a peek at this & since I didn't add it I can't remove it. But I will say that one of the reason you'll probably not get off is that your sharing an IP with Rape-forced.net - not the best kind of domain to be associated with & probably one of the reasons you'll remain on the blacklist.

Whois.sc is not real time, they database still show old information and I changed host 4-5 days ago.

I don't think it's too clever to ban hosting company.

For example I use HQHost for a long time and have more than 150 domains there, I don't want to move it to another hosting. But I'm honest webmaster...

The time will come when your own hosting will be banned - then you will ask this question here... :(

I blacklist for site being on the same ip or namesever all the time and I will continue to do so. I email the hosting company and ask them to do something about these illegal domains most of the time too.

It depends what you mean under "cheaters". If this is linklist cheaters - they can come to your host too. You will ban your own host?

If you mean something illegal like "undarage girls" on the hosting - in this case the hosting company must delete this user. But you didn't give me the examples.

So you just decided to add some hosting company to your blacklist because you don't use it and some linklist cheaters use it? What will you do when they come to your hosting - ban it too? :)

I don't want any war with other linklist owners ofcource, but I just want to say that this is incorrect to ban all hosting because of one cheater... There are lots of good guys that can use this hosting.

And if you ban some hosting why not to give full list of banned hosting for webmasters? Or it's better to hide it and get more free recip links?

If you knew what kind of crap your hosted with you wouldnt be hosted there thats why those server companies are Black listed :(

Um if they are banned and not listed there are NO links. If they were listed the traffic from recips is very minimal. Only a noob would think there was something of great value in recips. :D

1) how can I know, that there are cheaters hosted on this host?
2) let's say that there are no cheaters on my host at the moment of my registration. but then they appear. how can I know that they appeared?
3) the most interesting question for me. if I'm a honest webmaster, and I do not cheat, do not break rules, etc... why not to email me saying: hey, dude, you're hosted with a bad host, change it, otherwise we'll ban you? oh, yes, it's much easier to put domain in a blacklist without any notice and to vanish all the time and money webmaster invested in this domain.
you do not understand one easy thing: the only person who cares about your ban is the honest poster. neither hosting provider, nor those cheaters do not care about all your bans.
you overstate your significance for any person not related to you directly.

That's the problem you should think a lot about where you are hosted first find out what which are good and bad hosts.

I'm not newb :) And I know the real situation - recip links are usefull. If not - why linklist owners ask to put them? ;) And in this situation you get the links for free because some linklist posters don't know they are banned. They wait untill you list them but you don't because you decided to ban their hosting.
