How are your ratios lately?
 

Yeah,
I dont know whats happening... I always got some sales, but like two weeks ago the shit started... traffic is the same, amount of traffic is even increasing but there is almost no sales. Have you noticed this 'no sales thing' too?

I'm well down with a couple of sites. I'm also getting some chargebacks on rebills. I've just re-done the front end of one site to see if that helps.

I blame it on Bill Gates for making affiliate link theft so easy. :)

Better this month that the previous 3, but 21 days is too short a time frame for me to say anything with confidence.

Brutal in some niches.

Seem ok overall. There's 1 or 2 that are lower than normal that is only a blip for the past week.

I remember I have been a little 'worried'*) arount the 15th 'cause things were much slower than normal (maybe the Pope's death and funeral reminded everybody that "porn is bad" - LOL - who knows?) - but then that's the way it goes all the time:

*) worried mostly because I had just moved to 2 new servers = more than doubling my hosting expenses - and I hate to be locked into high fixed expenses...

No i have never had so huge amount of sales to post it here... :) but yes, since Pope died everything fallen... no rebills, almost no sales man, that sucks ass :)
Anyway, there is no other way than do my job and sit quiet hehe

I think the pope & tax time in the USA slowed things down but they are picking up again this week.

Me I don't have sales yet so maybe I should not comment. But my thought is that its been nice weather on the east coast latly and people are just getting outside. I live by NYC and I think I heard some place that 1200 miles outside of nyc is 70% of the us population.

the start of the month was good and died and the start of the 2nd period was great and went to shit had 6 sales sat with NO big listings and it died and last 4 days suck had a couple sales from my LL.. had a good couple of months before this month and if if dont change I'll be on welfare in may - all I can say is keep hammering and find new traffic sources...

The numbers here have been pretty bleak the past few weeks :(

Part of that is due to a drop in traffic though...was busy renovating my internal link site to take it public.

Not submitting free sites for a few weeks definitely put a dent in the ol bottom line.

Add to the drop in traffic the fact that ratios are higher across the board...and yep...pretty bleak :(

But, as it always seems to...it WILL get better!

hmm, don't know: all I can say that ratios overall got worse over the last 4 years :(

So it's not just that my tired old sites suck then. :)

mmmm when my favorite sponsors dropped i noticed the others which i dont like very much went up in sales, realy i never wll understand this bizz

This Month is fantastic, Just like the one before, and before. Slight dip in traffic I will admit though. :D

I'm always much more surprised when I gets sales than when I don't. I can't really look at it as ratios, but more of warped arrows occasionally hitting a target that was blown over in a crosswind.

Last month was my best month in this business simply because I worked harder at it than I ever have before. |bananna|

There have been some good days this month and some not so good days but I believe with hard work and determination, I think anyone of us can salvage what's left of this month too. |thumb

On topic, my ratios have been pretty crappy overall this year. I have one sponsor that's started kicking ass for no apparent reason, and that's starting to level things out.

My ratios from free sites are pathetic- from 1:250 to 1:5000 (I know! And that 1:5000 is with a sponsor I used to be able to count on.) Ratios from the link list are pretty sweet. 1:3 in some cases. Of course, that's one sale in three clicks, ever, but I take what I can get.

My ratios are average in general but I managed to get my worst ratio ever this month for one particular sponsor 1:12000 :-)

Ratios for me have seemed higher this year. But, having recently dug into the details a bit...I realized that one particular site was skewing the overall numbers. The site always used to convert really well...some major changes this year caused it to fall off the map.

Dropping that site out of the mix...ratios are still a bit higher, but not as ugly as I'd thought previously...

Back to WORK!

This month is pathetic - over 20% drop in income from last month and over 30% drop from December. Traffic is the same, only difference is the ratios.

Well Since posting in this thread, its really looking ugly and got worse and beginning to think if my codes still work or they turned off showing sales - dam

I have a sponsor I was doing ok with and have a mix of tgp, LL and adwords traffic and targeted free se traffic and not a sale in 6 days and though I am not sending a 1000 hits a day - but I am sending enough to see 1 - 2 sales every other day or everyday compared to last 2 or 3 months.. and also I use no tricky links to the sponsor or wording of links and the people that go there are interrested IMO

Cant say Im happy with these numbers :)
I just dropped this sponsor for now, maybe It'll start converting again in the future..who knows ?

Right now its 1 in 13360 :-)

thinks have picked up nicely in the last 5 days for me, I hope its the same for all you guys!

For me this April is very well-heeled and productive. Sales rock as never before and that's great!
