Very odd scores this time around....it makes it much more interesting though. I hate to see lop-sided games.

People...there are 6 teams to talk about and in no particular order:

Russia
Czech Republic
Canada
Sweden
USA
Finland

IF by some bizarre twist of fate (and I don't have to remind the Swedes about bizarre twists now do I?) someone is having an off game or a VERY lucky goal, then they are done.

Let's also realize this: the Europeans didn't sit on their asses while the North American boys did. They played on the larger ice surface while "70% of the North American players played scratch the nuts."

My point is this: the stronger and more physically fit team will win this tournament and if your North American, you will be disappointed if you think its either Canada or USA this year. :(

He SO favored the Swiss team.
They were hanging on to the swedes like an annoying turd that doesn't want to see the sunshine. When the swedes shook them off - 2 minutes penalty.

When the Swiss goalie shot the puck over the glass, the ref blew for delaying the game. The Swiss coach bitched and the ref said he was wrong. Same thing over and over.

Fuck them. We won at least :)

It sure would be a great final!
