Happy Humid Monday People

Since I guess everyone else is still sleeping let me be the first to say good fucking Monday morning to everyone. :)

Looking to be a sticky one today on this big sand bar that I call home.
Currently: 75° F
Scattered Clouds
Humidity: 94%
Chance of precip: 10%

I renewed my licensee plate online yesterday after being +6 months past due. It takes about a week for the decal to arrive so until then I'm driving around on a expired plate. I printed out the temp receipt in case I get pulled over again. I still can't believe that I forgot to renew it and just annoyed as hell that I'm going to go have to sit in court so as to show the judge that it has been renewed. This is the fan that I was buying when I got puled over for an expired plate.

Since I have no more wood or yard work to do I'm doing the gym thing once I'm fully awake and then back home to provide nekkid pics to the horny masses.

Jim 2005-05-23 08:34 AM

Humid...If being humid is 46 degrees and rain then I guess it's humid here.

Good Morning.

Torn Rose 2005-05-23 08:37 AM

Consider yourself lucky; in Indiana they would impound your car for expired tags.

And your right about it being humid, I just turned the AC off and opened the doors, but I can tell already they will not be open too long today.

Useless 2005-05-23 08:39 AM

It's so humid here, the ground is wet.
Sing along with me:
Raindrops keep falling on head,
So since there's nothing else to do - why don't we go fuck in the shed,
Let's spend the day balling, we can keep on balling...

Anyway, I've got some porn shit I'm going to do and there's not a fucking thing that you can do to stop me! Not that you would. Outside that, I'm just going to sit here and imagine what Jim's new oversized bike barn looks like since there aren't any pics available.

Cleo 2005-05-23 08:43 AM

Yeah here too they can. The cop told me multiple times how thankful I should be that he wasn't impounding my car and arresting me. I remember getting the decal and putting it on the plate but I guess I'm remembering the year before not last October. |potleaf|

Too much shit to remember to remember to do this once a year but I've setup my computer to send me e-mail each year now when it is time to renew so that I never have to go through this again.

docholly 2005-05-23 08:43 AM

When its 72 at 541am.. you know its gonna be hot. Predicted at 104 today.. YUCK.. and i have to go out in it.. and all those things you hear about " But its a dry heat" when its over 100 in the desert, it can be wet or dry, its still M'F*cking HOT... i have fried thighs.

have a photo shoot today.. at 130pm-330pm. could we have picked a HOTTER time??

have a good one.. |thumb

Toby 2005-05-23 09:04 AM

T'is gonna be another hot and humid one here in Houston today too. Currently 75°F with humidity at 90% at 8:00 AM, headed for a high of about 95°F. More of the same forecast for the next few days. I think I'll get my errands done early, I wonder what time SAM's opens?

Greenguy 2005-05-23 09:05 AM

Good Monday Peoples |waves|

Been up since 7 or so, but since I slacked off most of Saturday & all of yesterday, the "1st Things To Do In The Morning" tasks took me a little longer than usual.

Crappy & raining here today, which sucks as the contractor was supposed to start on the Pool House roof today :(

I'll be here all day doing porn things :)

swedguy 2005-05-23 09:28 AM

Morning folks :)

I did a stupid, stupid thing yesterday, so I need to get myself a new office chair.
This time I wanna get one with mesh and not fabric... too much Sweaty Ass Syndrome.
Does anyone of you have a Herman Miller Aeron or Mirra?

Yell 2005-05-23 09:31 AM

Good day to all :)

My daughter had her rugby picnic yesterday and they had the parents and coachs vs the kids and it was tackle. Man i am to old for this but i did make a seventy yard touchdown run |bananna| but when i was done i needed the oxegen bottle LOL. The old man still has it |pimpin

Cleo 2005-05-23 09:31 AM

I have one of these and love it.
http://www.artfurnitureontheweb.com/.../040181nf.html
I paid about double the price they are selling it for about six years ago.

Yell 2005-05-23 09:35 AM

Cleo it don't sound comfy is it?

PR_Tom 2005-05-23 09:41 AM

Mornin' everyone. I see on my calendar that today is Victoria Day in Canada. Happy Victoria Day! (what does it mean? A day off? lol)

Have a good one!

MrMaryLou 2005-05-23 09:41 AM

Good morning all :) Cleo nice looking chair do they have a fat ass size :D

Office chairs simply aren't suitable for most sexual positions. If you push them too hard, they fall apart. |waves|

Rocco 2005-05-23 10:07 AM

good morning all - not so humid here, but rainy :/

It's like sitting on air.

All my office chairs have always given me ass pimples, no nothing as bad as Jim's ass pimple, but ugly and uncomfortable ass rash from sitting in them all day. I guess it doesn't help that I often work bare bottom in only a big t-shirt.

When I was looking for a new chair I remember telling the salesman that I often work naked and needed something soft and breathable for my ass.

I really didn't like the way this chair looked but gave it a try anyway and was amazed at how good it feels to sit in.

I would buy another one if anything happened to this one.

The only screwing I did was screwing up ;)

Laundry day is coming up and I figured. I want to treat my chair with a nice and comfy wash. I unscrew (I guess I screwed a little bit ;)) the seat and underneath there's like 100 staples holding the fabric to the seat itself.
I take out all the staples in the front and feel underneath. Ok the fabric comes off, but the foam is glued to the hard part of the seat. Not good.
So I figured if I can't wash the foam, it's not much use to wash it at all. So I take some detergent, warm water and head to the bathroom, remember the fabric in the front is not attached anymore.

I scrub and scrub and it's starting to smell like roses again. I push most of the water out of the seat and right about then, I realise there's about 3-4 inches of fabric missing in the front. The fricking thing shrunk when I washed it |angry|

I could get it reupholstered, but it would still be the same old uncomfortable chair.

Cleo, I'll see if I can find a chair like that and try it out. Thanks :)

swedguy 2005-05-23 11:05 AM

A prime example on how much people are ripping us off here in Sweden.

I just went to look at Aeron and Mirra. Aeron is the most comfortable chair I've ever tried. Mirra was ok. The seat was awsome, but the back wasn't really made for my screwed up back.

When I asked him how much they cost, he said: $2800
I thought I was gonna piss my pants out of laughter |haha

If I buy that chair I think I'll buy it from the US instead. $599 + $275 shipping

Greenguy 2005-05-23 11:45 AM

http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Brows...e=1&SKU=489576

$60 - had it for 4 years :D

cd34 2005-05-23 11:46 AM

Remind me not to have you do my laundry.

The best office chair I ever bought was from Quarterdeck (yeah, the Desqview people). They were moving to smaller offices, had a bunch of cubicle farm equipment and chairs and said -- you can have it if you move it out today. So, we rented a truck, hired two guys, moved about 15 cubicles, whiteboards, file cabinets, chairs, etc. We were a growing ISP, and it cost us about $300 for enough deskspace for 15+ people. We couldn't beat the deal. Well, Desqview must have had a phenominal budget because these chairs were the most comfortable chairs I had ever seen.

Now its my wife's office chair. When we moved, a roller on one of the legs broke -- $57 to replace it, but, to this day, I imagine that chair would be just as comfortable with the new roller as it was with the old roller.

Happy Monday all!! To hot and humid here also to do anything outside. I look foward to reading this section everyday. You guys are so funny, always sit here and laugh with is great!

Cleo....so that is why my ass broke out also! Never thought about it being my chair....too funny. :D

Thanks for the laughs guys off to porn land I go..... |waves|

Morning - err Afternoon -
Maybe I should check in Before I start in on reviews and stuff.
I just have a high back leather thing with adjustable arm rests.
It's weird how lowering the arm rests an inch will change everything.

Cleo - you probably don't have too many if any gravel roads around there - But around here, if your tabs are expired, take a trip down a gravel road, get it nice an covered and your good for a couple of weeks. :)
(I mean you still need to get the tabs - but this will literally cover you)

Cleo 2005-05-23 01:12 PM

Hmmm… finding a gravel road to drive the Vette down…
I have my paperwork so if I get pulled over again I'm legal. I think I'll just take my chances. LOL

They are taking away my wood pile. It filled the truck completely up so now the tractor thing is sitting in front of my house I guess waiting for an empty truck. I'm kind of embarrassed to have put this much bulk trash out, but not embarrassed enough to pay someone to have hauled it off. :D

My new improvised chair seat is almost better than my old one. A little firm, but I think I might be on to something :D

HoneLynn 2005-05-23 04:15 PM

Humidity? What's that? I think we have 20% here

cd34 2005-05-23 04:16 PM

how do you use a mouse that is taped to a keyboard?

swedguy 2005-05-23 04:24 PM

It's a Microsoft Trackball - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mo...s.aspx?pid=012

I took off the numpad keys and put the mouse there instead. No need to reach so far :)

natalie 2005-05-23 05:04 PM

I had a really bad back months ago, couldnt get out of bed some days from it and my neck was out all the time. I went and bought a new office chair much like digifans and by the next day my back was better! Its amazing how much difference a chair makes, but then not really when you think how many hours you sit in it. Often its 16 hours for me.

digifan 2005-05-23 05:08 PM

Sure a good chair is very important... I also have another one with a built-in massage sytem. big like a bed and it helps the muscles and your back :D

HpicAnn 2005-05-23 05:44 PM
