Looks like another steaming hot day here in sunny Western New York - glad my AC works :)

TheBitch is still away & since we have our big *Independence Day party on Saturday, I have a lot of offline stuff to take care of so that things go smoothly.

* we used to call it "The 4th Of July Party" but since we've never held it on the 4th, people were always confused & showing up on the wrong days

Wonderful... another Monday.

1 last load to go and we will be done moving, just a billion things to unpack now.

Another wet one here. Rained so hard last night that it woke me up a few times. Good day to stay home and try to get caught up in work.

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and I am sore from a long bike ride yesterday.

The weather today...HOTTTT...

My AC keeps icing over. It's very troubling since the layer of ice blocks the circulation of air. Oh well. If I get too hot today I can always just pull the panel and rub my sweaty balls against the ice.

Useless, check your filter and you may also be low on coolant; the ice is caused by being overworked. I just had this happen to me a few months ago.

Yes, it happened the first time yesterday morning. At least that's the first time we noticed it. I melted the ice with a hair dryer and then combed out the radiator fins with a hair brush to increase the air flow and vacuumed the filter. That was yesterday. Today, I turned it from high cool to high fan and it looks like it has already melted and is set to go. Poor thing has been running continuosly for the last 72 hours. :(

Yeah the little Freon workers start sweating ice cubes when they are made to work too hard.

Actually the evaporator pressure should be between 69 PSI and 78 PSI which corresponds to a temp of 40°F to 46°F. If the low side pressure in the evaporator falls into the 5* PSI range then the evaporator temp will fall below the freezing point of water and the evaporator will freeze. This can be caused both either not getting enough air across the evaporator due to a clogged filter or coil or a refrigerant leak that has allowed the pressure of the refrigerant boiling point to fall below the freezing point of water. In both cases this could allow still liquid refrigerant to return to the compressor and damage it due to the fact that liquid can not be compressed so it breaks mechanical parts inside of the compressor itself.

Not that I know shit about how a A/C works.

I really have nothing to do today. Yesterday, I started painting with stencils "Javes Motorcycle Shop and Olive Oil" and ran out of room with "Javes Motorcycle" So, I can just about say, the new shop is done.

Pictures will be coming today or tonight. I also have the new ramp mounted on my truck and I will take pictures of that and of it being used. My wife has to close her eyes when I drive up it :)

Just got back from a 4 day metal festival. I'm red as a lobster and everything hurts. Before the festival I was I the US for about a week so now I'm sitting here going trough tons of junk mail searching for something useful.

Morning all -
Spent the weekend at the cabin with the boys and 4 of their friends. Threw my back out putting in the neighbors dock. But still ended up having a lot of fun.
Way behind on reviews, so I'm getting started right now.
I'll be around all day.

Cleo, you scare me. ;) My AC is one of those monster window units. I had to wire 220 volts to it and put in special outlet. This house is over 100 years, a former two family that has been neglected for the last 60, plus we want to sell it soon, so I'm not having central air installed. I put the AC in a window at the top of the stairway. It makes it very cool upstairs, so sleep is good, and enough cold drops down here to make life bareable.

As soon as I'm done covering up all of the sins of the house's past owners - we're outta here!
