LOR 500 internal server error
 

Trying to submit a site for the last 14 hours, always get this 500 error. Any probs?

Really? I just looked in the admin & I've been getting submits all night, but I will of course have the tech's look into it.

I am getting submits, so it is working - LOL - all I can say is that they are working on the problem & if you get the 500 Internal Server Error message, hit your back button & try it again :)

hit the backbutton about 50 times in the last hours :)

guess I got to try again tomorrow on another connection |afro|

strange thing today everwhere i went pages loaded slow i think internent is clogged greens site loads slow ars slow and i have cable conn

hmmm.. on the other connection (ADSL) I get a "Server cannot be found", did you put a block on european countries or so GG? :)

I just tried to submit and I get the same thing. I hit the back button and tried 30 times. No Luck.|sad|

check this out i can go on line some sites load fast some crawl my isp says there a problem with conn in my area thats why it kicks out did not find server error do u know how many times i tryed

It's a really strange error that's happening - it says it can't find a file in the admin, which is there at the path that it says it isn't (if that makes sense)

We are working on it :)

*NOTE*
The Link Script & the server do not like each other & thus people are getting "500 Internal Server Errors" when they try to submit. The only thing I can say at this time is please click your back button & hit submit again & again until it goes thur. We are working on the problem & hope to have it fixed very soon :)

oh your with greenguy it was a bad day yesterday then to top it off power was out on my block all night

still no succes after 258 tries
maybe I'll try it again when all is solved |afro|

me either still getting dns if i leave 1 or 2 fields empty then the script seems to be right but if you fill it out right it gives me dns and there no problems on my end

Here's what I experience:

If fill out all fields - I get a DNS error - can't contact site.

If I take the data out of a field I get, alternately, either a 500 server error or the link program message that I forgot to fill out a field. :)

I don't know what to do about dns errors - I was talking about the "500 Internal Server Errors"

gg you have to have a problem for the dns i submited 2 sites to differnt ll and no proplems i have the same thing going on that codymc 12 has a tried 2 different puters

i even took router off still same thing

I'm also getting either DNS errors or the following system error message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@link-o-rama.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Anyone have any ideas.

gg iam no script expert but what that thing does is remarkable and finding out what wrong is a pain in the brain

its checking so many things and timing out before it does it all would be my guess i know what you and your guys are going through i been a pro ase auto mechanic for 20 years

what ever i do i cant fool it urls that are already listed stuff like that

ps ill wait to you get it fixed and i am not rushing you

Well, the dns error is gone for me now - just the 500 server error left.

i went to bro in laws house tryed a diff conn aol dial up dns 3 times

This must suck ass for you...

Below data not another complaint - just info that may or may not be useful for you on Monday.

Here's the behaviour I'm getting:

I do a submit with all fields filled in, and get a cannot find server error.

Interestingly, if I do a 'detect network settings' I am then taken to the error page for linkadmin1 - the one that says 'error - your submission could not be accepted for the following reasons...' blah blah.

If I go back and remove, say, my name from the fields on your submit page, I don't get a DNS error. Instead I get the error page that says 'your name is required'. Same happens, basically, if I remove the data in any one of the fields.

That pretty much sums it up. One thought - I may be talking out my ass - but one thing to check might be the redir after submit. Generally takes you to greenguysboard.com - perhaps something on that?

Anyway - I hope this data is helpful. Of course, you could always try this: |chainsaw|

I think it's having trouble writing to the files - almost like the permissions are being changed randomly (which is not the case BTW)

If you leave a field out on the form, the page itself tells you the problem by showing the error from the script.

I just basically sit here & |banghead| when they come up in the admin :D

I tries submitting today with the same results either a dns or a 500 internal error page. I switched from dsl to dialup. FYI the isp I use is Earthlink.

No luck here.. I tried Monday night for about an hour. :(

I was gonna ask you guys - LOL

Richard found an error, corrected it, it was fine for a few hours, then we got the errors again, so he went back, found another error.......

Long story short, the way it's set up, the fucker shouldn't be working at all - LOL - but it is 75% of the time, so we are baffled.

Richard put a debugger in there to check for errors & report them back to him.

If that doesn't work, he might do a complete re-install which is a huge pain in the ass when you factor in there's almost 4 years of data in there.

Still down for me. Full reinstall? That would suuuuuuck!

if it works 75% of the time the 50 or 60 times i tried over the past days maybe 10 or 20 times will get through now lol |pcsucks|

i just tried at least 15 times firet 10 i got dns 2 or 3 500s then dns i got your answer do you know what a ford hammer is for stuff like this lol

I tried submitting four times. Twice I received the can not find server error message and the other two times I received the 500 error message.

Just put about 50 records in Richards debugger, hope he can do something with that |afro|

All I can say is that they are working on it - LOL

The last ICQ I got from Richard said simply "Totally freacking bizarre!"

Problem should be solved (but I have said that in the past - LOL)
