I've been playing around alot lately trying to make my site very clean. Meaning no banners... But this owning a TGP its almost impossible with webmasters always wanting to put 10 million banners on there submits...

I think a link to the Index page should be fare... so see what i did.. let me know if this is a good, or bad thing...

Why are you hotlinking the thumbs from other domains & linking to pics on those same domains?

The webmasters who submit are looking for hits, witch i provide. And by "re-modeling" this pages to fit my site, makes it easier for my surfers to surf my site, and tend to bookmark it more. I think we both win. The more hits i get, the more they do.

So for letting you link directly to my pics, I get a small text link on the "gallery" page that has the thumbs hosted on my server?

Why would anyone want to do that when there are 1000's of TGP's that would just link to the gallery page on my server & see my ads?

My script is going to pull one of your sponsor banners from your page and post it on the new clean and improved gallery.

Would that make it fair?

any maybe even add there link to my category pages???

Unless I missed something, I seems you are just admitting to where you stole the content.

This is how i see it, i want offer hits to the webmasters. By fixing there pages and making is easier for my surfers, i get more hits, more hits for me, more for them.

Maybe be adding one sponsor of theres i can extract from the page as i did the contact, and adding them to my LL part of my site and in the category pages of pics and movies.

We both get what we want... right???

with those three things, would this be a good thing???

Ok - let's say the content on this "gallery" is mine:

On the page that the pics are displayed, there are 17 outgoing links - from top to bottom:
1 link to your site
13 links to sponsors
1 more link to your site
1 link to my domain
1 link to the actual gallery location

Can you explain to me why the webmaster that owns & hosts the content should only get 11.7% of the links, as opposed to 100% of the links if they are on a page on my server?

Personally, I think anyone that lets you do this to their content is a moron.

im not looking for stupid awnsers.. i already knew this was kinda stupid, i was just looking for a little help... maybe a way this can work, and if not. I'll put all the galleries back to normal... its that simple... i guess i was just looking for suggestions...

I haven't played with TGP in a long time, but if I remember correctly, you were doing good if 1 out of 100 surfers clicked a sponsor link.

So, based on the number I posted above, out of 1700 hits to my "gallery" (html on your server, pics hotlinked from mine), I'd get 2 - so in order for me to get ONE hit to my sponsor, you'd have to have 85,000 hits to that "gallery" page on your server

That is why it will never be worth the effort.

Don't reinvent the wheel - link to galleries that you like & don't link to the ones that you think are cluttered with ads.

Seriously though CJ, you can hang out and learn some good things here. I just posted last week about how much I have gained by being here, and that's not just blowing smoke. The crowd can be rough sometimes, but if it was in person you'd likely see it's more ball busting than personal attacks. You know, it's hard to translate those things online sometimes man.

Don't run....Learn....They are only trying to learn what you are doing and pointing out what you are doing wrong and how it is wrong.. if they really wanted to slam ya they would do so on the other boards. If they didn't think you didn't have some worth there wouldn't be other webmasters asking you to stay.

If you are still around here is something else you should look at on your galleries:
When you say "The Provider is Responsible for 2257 Information, not me!" I don't think this is accurate. As the thumbnails appear on your page I think you are legally obliged to have the 2257 info. By putting this disclaimer on your page you are telling everyone that you do not have it, so are inviting the authorities to prosecute you. If I were you I would drop the disclaimer.

I have such a hard-on for gracious exits.

1. Don't hot link other peoples images because if they're paying for the bandwidth and the time create the galleries then you should be showing thier sales pitch. That's how they pay for things.

2. Change the name of the site. CJ stands for "Circle Jerk" and that means people will be worried about exchanging traffic with you.

3. Learn to accept critism. You came here asking for help and everyone is telling you the same thing in one way or another. DON'T HOT LINK!!!

ok how about this, i not only took the content, i took all there sponsors and add them also. And is there sponsor banner is 468 x 60 or 468 x 72 then it will add that too... so they get 100% of the links...
