BobbyBang - Redirects and Spyware
 

Spaceman mentioned it in an older thread, I started a new one so hopefully more would see it. Bobby bangs sites are redirecting, and even worst, you get loaded with spyware/adware, ton of shit. Think my programs caught most of it, hopefully.

So, dont check his sites unless you can handle the crap that comes.

Thanks for the heads up Ronnie...I've got quite a few of his sites listed. Just checked the first 6 and sure enough...all redirect |angry|

Listings dumped...submitter added to the shit list.

Didn't get any spyware/crap in FF, but the redirects are plenty to dump the sites...the cocksucker |angry|

Actually thank spacemanspiff, he said it in another thread. I just thought maybe more would see it in a new thread. Some reason I got a ton of stuff, trojan, ect.

He submitted a ton of sites to me, which were fine for a long time until his hosting went down on him. Now I've got (I mean I HAD) 97 listed sites redirecting with a trojan install. That's just fucked up :( My bot caught them 12 hours ago and I just got to the bot reports.

I've just checked about 20 of his sites and didn't come across any problems.

I randomly checked 4 and all 4 came up redirects....

I have almost 100 of his sites listed. Did a random check on about 10. No problems here.

I just checked and no redirects here. 197 sites listed on one linklist and 92 on another.

Odd. Whatever I'm getting redirected to even managed to crash Firefox.

The sample links he posted in the other thread all redirect to webse-arch.com when I try them. I suspect the server has been hacked/infected.

All the links I checked were redirecting to some sort of an adult search engine. Didn't get any spyware/trojan install attempts in FF.

Just checked again...sites still redirecting for me. All sites are going to; webse-arch /dot/ com with keyword searches. Looks like a ppc search engine.

Don't know if it's related, but whois on the domain was updated today.

The whois change could easily explain it...new DNS info may not have propagated to everyone yet.

So, it would be his host redirecting to this crapola search engine...nice |dizzy|

Guess only time will tell. If his sites come back, I'll remove him from the shit list and re-list his sites |thumb

I'm in the UK and they're still Ok for me

I removed 100's of his sites from Click 4Sex Fun a while back when he kept having hosting problems. I think I'll just stick with not listing any of his stuff.

Ya, sadly seems the best way. Every one has problems, I've had mine, but seems too many. When it comes to redirecting to virus/spyware/ect, least what I got, no more for me.

Ohhh, I'm very, very sorry
I have troubles with my hosting during last 4-5 month, every month had troubles during 20-60 hours (so you could see). I told to my hoster about huge problems with my business, but it was no result:(

Two days ago I begun to change hosting. This operation was during more than one day:(, but now all of my 300 free sites are working. Suppose that it was last trouble with it!

I don't know nothing about redirecting/spyware/adware at period of changing hosting, I made more than 300 free sites for last 3-4 years and NEVER had ANY redirecting/spyware/adware...they are ALWAYS clean

So if somebody deleted my sites, let me add them else one.

Bobby Bang i am not listing your sites already for some time at the linksites i review for , simple reason templates or your sites go to 404 everytime or like now they redirect, this about the what 5 time you have troubles with your sites, i am getting sick and tired of it, focus on the sites you submit or on your host or whatever but this is not the way to do bizz :(

Oh yes, I forgot about templates. That's another reason I don't list his sites anymore. :(

I e-mailed a couple times about templates, never heard anything, never changed.

it's my mistake with my last hosting, could changed it many times before. I believed that such huge troubles would never repeat |dizzy|

I like your free sites even you have a lot of templates. I listed 222 your sites I checked some and couldn`t find anything what I read above. So, you are welcome to submit your sites to my LL as long as your sites follow my rules.

Maybe if you move to a new host that the link list owners seem to value, then they will realize that your efforts really are sincere and be more inclined to work with you during this rough time. I think some here are fans of colo-cation.com

Id agree - advancedhosters does have its occasional problems :)

2krki: thanks for good words, I like to post my sites to quality link lists. Such troubles took place only during moving free sites to another hosting. All of about 300 free sites working perfectly after that.
