I am going to be a grandfather again in 12 days
 

Since my daughter's last baby was born Cesarean, this new one will be too. So, we have the date of November 14th as my new Grandson's Birthday :)

The Mother and Father are as stable as you can be at that age. Although, I think this was unplanned, they are ready and happy. My daughter is most happy to finally get the hell out of bed :)

My Daughter had number two last month, my wife is beside herself over this one because unlike my daughters first:
1, The baby was planned
2, She's married
3, Husband is out of school and has a killer Job
4, She has a boy and girl now and they are done makeing babies

Her kids have had 10 babies so far, 0 planned, 2 married, 0 out of school with a good job, all girls or all boys and we both know there will be more |banghead|

I am counting down the days Fonz. On the 13th, my wife is going to Rochester to be with our daughter. The baby will be born on the 14th and I will be there on the 15th (swollen nut or not) :) I think I iwll be ok by then but I do have an infection. I have high hopes of something being left in (I hear he money rolling in) :) But, I will be there. Of course I will let you guys know the details once we find out. My daughter can't wait. She called her doctor today to see if they could move it up but no go :)

Oh yeah, since it is not a natural birth, my daughter will at least need a full day to recover before she has visitors. That is why I am waiting a day to go. Who knows...I may just go with my wife and run around buying baby stuff while it is happening.

Now that is the best part of having a grandkid shopping for them!! I don't care if he's just a newborn Jim you have to be the first one to buy him a football |thumb

We are really getting excited...even our Granddaughter is marking off the days. :)

9 days and counting...
My wife is leaving later in the week and I will be alone eating bacon sandwiches for about a week. Of course, within that week, I will be traveling to see my new Grandson.

Wow - congrats to you and your family Jim! There's nothing like a brand new baby... I'm so happy for you all!

I know I have a new Niece and it is awesome! Although, I am pretty sure she is possessed - When she is sleeping in your arms, she doesn't close her eyes all the way and her eyes roll in to the back of her head - Way Creepy! on top of that she make these moaning almost growling sounds. Good Luck Mom and Dad when she gets older.

Myself and my kids all sleep with our eyes about 1/2 way open. I could never use those contact lenses that you sleep with because they would dry out at night.

Only 3 days left until The Boy is born.
2 days until my wife is gone and I am eating bacon sandwiches.
I still have no idea when I am leaving. But I know my wife will be gone for a week at least. That's going to suck.

Hope the C-section goes well, and soon you will be changing diapers again.
