What Is Your Best Converting Gallery ??
 

What is your best one and why ?? I know what ones I have done that do very well. I'm interested to see some others :)

A design company that wants to see examples of other peoples work that converts well? This is gonna be interesting :D

Simple. Clean. Nice big clear thumbnails. Good quality full-sized image. Catchy sales text. The rest is just window dressing and not needed for sales. I could do complex gallery designs, and I have but they don't do as well as a nice simple html one that follows the above rules.

Also, a submitter should develop their own style. People can tell my galleries just by looking at them because I have certain little things that I do that makes them uniquely mine.

We are suppose to make money doing this?

I don't build galleries and most things I build don't convert, but I really need to hit my post quoto today or else my wife will think that I sat here doing nothing all day.

very simple yet effective gallery, html text is the key:) I will show my top 10 tonight for everyone... I have some pretty good stats that were run by ragecash to help show what did well ... some times the pretty ones do not do well...

Content is king!! A good paysite to promote helps too. These both did very very well.

My best one was a gallery that got top se placement for the site name I was promoting. I think it could have been one thumb and a link and it would have still converted! probably would`nt have got top listing then though. Wide exposure from submitting to well known tgp`s helps that cause so no shortcuts or big secrets there.

Spam ?? I'm offering to help anyone that is building galleries what and why it sells ?? forget the stats I will just show the galleries. I'm in no need of anymore clients just trying to help as I was refered to this board by a very good client of mine.. I guess offering help is a bad thing ?

It may not be intended as spam, but it's coming off as a clever way to do so from where I'm sitting.

You run a design company & you're asking to see other peoples galleries that are converting. To me, that's like asking a programmer to look at his code so that you can see how he does it & better your program in the process.

Then saying that your work converts at a rather good ratio & posting examples of it...which you charge people for...comes across as you spamming your services.

I also see that your sig button says that you make Free Sites, but I didn't see any examples on your site. Have you made any for affiliate programs? If so, who? I think I know your work, but I don't want to assume.

I came to the board in peace. I run a design forum on another board and am always trying to help out designers and even non designers to improve what they do and how they can make money. Now to someone who might not know who I am, they might wonder 'who is this company to offer advise' so I said I would lay my own work out for others to see. I am doing a complete makeover of my portfolio right now as far as design and scripting so I have not taken any time to add new things to my existing portfolio. If I wanted to spam the board, or look for new clients, I would have made a post offering $10 galls or something like that. It was merely an attempt to help anyone that may want help. I am currently taking on Rage's freesites as well as doing their galls. I am swamped with work, so that is not what this was about. I thought I would offer help to anyone wanting it and try to be an asset to the board as that is my personality to help others :)

You have to remember that no one asked you for the advice & this thread did not even start out with you offering advice. You asked to see other people's work (for whatever reason that may be)

You have no time for new projects because of your makeover, but you have time to give free advice? That makes no sense.

As far as the Rage Cash HFS, which ones have you done? Or did you just take it over?

Oh FHM. You get put in your place at one board and then attack me here. As I told you, if you have a problem with an employee from almost 2 years ago before he ever did business with me, send him papers just like you said you were going to. Funny how you claim this, but haven't done anything about it but to try and bash me, who had nothing to do with your dealings with him back then. And nice try saying I got "busted" over at another board. I was given question after question and put everyone in their place about every single one, until the thread was closed because it was bull.

And no, I haven't had time to update my portfolio because it would be pointless seeing as though it is all being redone right now. Apparently any help I was trying to be nice to offer and get others to offer to webmasters is unwanted. I've always felt there is so much to learn and so much we can all learn from each other in this business. I spend hours on ICQ with newbies helping them to learn, because I love to see people succeed, even if it's making their first gallery that makes a sell, Or getting someone set up to do cam work or become a broadcaster. If webmasters learning from each other is not what this board wants, well so be it. I was trying to make a nice informative thread and that is all. No harm was meant out of it or intented.

So are the ones you are doing go to be graphically intense boxes of non-converting shit like most designers spew forth, or are they going to mesh well with what link lists prefer to list? In other words, are they going to look like the galleries in your portfolio, or are they going to be something we list owners want? Clean, simple, etc?

I try and ad at least one link in every gallery I do in the html. As I said I have not added anything new to my portfolio in a very long time as it is getting redone with scrpting and several other things this month.

First off, I would never place a banner over TITLE on the index.

You have a blank space below the banner...May not impact your sales but it's annoying to see spaces on the page.

Same thing with main.html. Check it out at 1024 wide and the page is full of empty spaces.

White table on black background...how boring is that?

Have you ever surfed GG's LL? There are tons of free sites listed there that'll help you design better sites.
