I have to run out & give our final approval to the kitchen cabinet people this morning & then pay for the appliances, so it's safe to say that I'll be in a foul mood this afternoon as well |thumb

I do get to go see the Sabres play tonight, so I guess that's a good thing :)

I've only had the chance of listening to the first 32 minutes of the radio show yesterday (the point where you were gonna call Torn) so I'm not fully updated on all the bashing :)

Strange weather today, it started out with a clear blue sky now it's melting snow falling out of the sky...

Before you buy the appliances Greenie, don't foget to look here. Just so you know the prices you can get them for. When I ordered our oven from this place, our local Kitchen Aid dealer said it was cheaper than he was paying for it. So, I suspect a huge markup.

Maybe I need to go back and listen again. My attention was split between listening and talking with people in the chat, so I think I missed things. It was a little hard to hear one of the guests...and it wasn't Torn. ;) It always sounded like Trixie was being yelled at because of the sounds levels I was getting here. ::grin::

We actually did the old "play one store against the other" thing & did rather well. Went to the 1st store that had everything on display & picked out what we wanted & he gave us a quote. Took that info to another store & they beat the price by $2K. Went back to store one & they beat store #2 by $1k - so in my silly mind, I'm saving $3k someplace :D

Problem when we have guests is that Jim & me are on the same line & one of us has to 3-way call the guest. It gets even worse when we both have to 3-way call so that we can have 4 people on. Plus I'm always louder than everyone because I'm closest to the feed (and I have been trying to position my mike a bit further away while pushing up the levels, but that doesn't always work)

A bit chilly (by Houston standards) here this AM.

Two things I find most disturbing about the "unpleasantness".
1) The personal attacks. We're all adults, we should be able to debate the issues without resorting to attacking the person.
2) The whole concept of "taking sides". We're all in this together, we sink or swim together. There are no sides.

GG - Personally I like the 'backwoods radio' approach. But when you have a woman on, particularly one who speaks with such a soft, sweet voice, you two do sound like a couple of wife beaters. LOL :D

This cold weather is fucking up my furnace humidity. Got a new one installed last month and now I had to adjust the settings to get the condensation off the windows. I liked it better when we didn't have one. hehe

Looks like all that fun from Super Bowl XL has finally caught up to me. I pulled a muscle behind my shoulder blade a few days ago and had felt nauscious (sp?) yesterday morning so I slept the entire afternoon and evening. It REALLY sucks getting old.|angry|

Anyhow, got a billion and one things to do and I should get to them.

Anyone know how I can make my FireFox show broken images? Right now it just deletes it, like nothing should be there.

Morning! The only thing I have to say has been said but I'll say it again. We all need each other in this business, from LL's, tgp, etc to the owners of the site. Bashing and arguing isn't productive, neither is going back and reading hours of threads about it. I didn't read them so I guess I should just shut up.

Colds seem to be the topic of the day. It's going around my house also so get better everyone.
