I saw on the zoo that they owe some money to Hooper but aren't paying. I was only able to read half the threads but it was enough.

The guy who runs one of my hosts is a Dave. Used to love to pester him in the morning with a "Hello Dave". Being old enough, he of course got it...unfortunately, I wasn't the first to have done that to him. Always struck me a funny though :D

Sometimes I set my desktop background or my screen saver to rotate through various folders of images. One of them is below. Always interesting when that's all that's on your screen and you can't get your security lock to let you in on the first try.

Way back when speech synthesis was a new thing, one of my uncles got a new computer for his printing business. Computers did not switch themselves off back then, they just shut down and left you with a message to switch off the computer, and this one did it with a vocal announcement. Someone in the office changed the close down announcement so that when anyone tried to shut the computer down it said "You can't do that Dave". Apparently it scared the hell out of one member of staff.

ROFL .. thats too funny. Bet it was fun back in the day when people really did'nt know or where scared of PC's.
