My wife couldn't sleep last night so, at about 4AM, I woke up an here I am :) I did go to bed right after Survivor. So, I think I am good for the day.

It's the end of the week thing again and with this nice weather we have today (22°C/72°F) it can only get better.

Way too early, but I fell asleep in the recliner watching TV a little after 9 PM, so I guess I was done sleepin'. I'm gonna blame it on |Jim he was already here making way too much noise ;)

Just checked today's weather, at 5:30 AM it's already 75°. That's the one thing I can't get used to here, it just doesn't cool down at night.

All the cabinets & new appliances were delivered yesterday & oddly enough, it went very smoothly, except for the fact that my garage has about a 2 foot walkway thru the middle of it & I can't get to anything that's in there, like the pop (soda for you fancy people)

I think I'm gonna take a 1/2 day today & finish up some shit in the Pool House, like getting this Canadian satellite hooked up |thumb

Maybe you can invite Ramster over and have him hook it up for you. A few beers should do the trick :D

Some local errands to run this morning when things open, then probably here most of the day unless I get inspired by the morning runaround to enjoy a little more of the nice day.

Might do that since the weekend visitors will be all over us tomorrow.

We are finally past 80 on a daily basis here though the nights are still in the 40's-50's which isn't so bad.

the last passport we were waiting for arrived on Wednesday so I booked our tickets to UK and beyond for June. And the large sucking sound was the money leaving my bank account. Hopefully it will be transferred back very quickly. I'm going to spend this weekend plotting our little tour. The only thing necessary besides the conference in London, is that spud wants to go to the Escher Museum in The Hague. Hopefully the stair cases do not defy physics. Of course I'd like to dance naked with the druids on midsummers night at stone henge but i really don't see that happening. |boobies|

Damn I can already feel the heat and humidity of our summer hell. Soon it will be a stream sauna outside and I'll be living inside going from an air conditioned building to an air conditioned car to another air conditioned building. It's kind of like living on an alien planet where you have to live inside of a habitat because the atmosphere is unlivable.

TGIF!!! I love fridays (payday or not) Its nice and cloudy today...its a little depressing but its the best time to go outside to get a tan. My first week of this new job has been really cool. Sunday I have a "cruise". Its not what your thinking, its in a car. My boyfriend is in a car club and we go out on the weekends with other people who own the same kinda car and take trips to Mt. Charleston, Lake Mead or Red Rock. Its cool cause even though I have lived here for 10 years I havent really seen those places in person. So I expect to be sunburned monday when I come back in the office. Hope ya'll have a good friday and a great weekend. |waves|

Yard guy got all my yard waste out to the street finally. My neighbors must love me. The pile goes the entire length of my property and takes up one lane of the street.

Uh that's Smog.. i was out this morning at 8am-ish and thought Vegas had migrated west over night.

Be careful of the rays ..they are more intense during this time due to the UV factor.

Yeah I know. But if you saw my white legs you would tell me to get my ass out there and get a tan. The smog is getting pretty bad around here. May be time to move back to MS and deal with tornados instead ;)
