Greenguy wrote and asked me to cancel the Radio Show tonight since he has to take his Daughter College Shopping tonight.

Anyway, it's crappy out again but it didn't snow as predicted. It kind of looks nice but I know it's cold.

It's a beautiful day today, 24°C/75°F and sunny, that's about as good as it gets here this time of year :)

I rode my bike to work today for the first time this year, i guess that counts as "sports" so I had my fair share of that for the rest of the week :)

Yes, I do have to cancel the Radio Show for tonight :( The Bitch has a doctor's appt at 4 & then we have to go to the local college to get my step-daughter signed up, so I'd be cutting it really close to be back by 8. So next week will start the guest host run of spring shows :)

Morning from Traffic Hell!!

Not only do we have 135K in broadcasters here this week, The Shrub showed up yesterday to just MUCK everything else up. Guess it was his way of "sticking" it to the "liberal" media. And the monorail broke down for about 1 hour plus they had to stop it for another 2 because it passes the Venetian where The Shrub was and someone could have a sniper rifle and perhaps take pot shots at him. |banghead|

80something here today and i have a bus to catch at 930am to avoid all the traffic/parking nightmares. Life is good!! |thumb

Today should be a joy. I need to finish installing several different scripts on different domains. Actually I started on this early yesterday and finally had to quit for the day last night with things not quite finished. So... today's the day! :D

I have an appointment with my accountant today at 11:30 so I'm not looking forward to that. And this is a new account too. My old guy was nice but let's just say I need a more "aggressive" accountant who is better with company taxes and hopefully saving me money.

Good news is we're going car shopping shortly. Badly need a second car. :)

Another day begins…
Sunny and warm here today. Today is a gym day for me and then probably just going to come home to work.

Watched my neighbor throw a temper tantrum last night once again over trying to watch a movie from his video server. When I want to watch a DVD I stick a disk in my $50 DVD player and watch the movie. When he wants to watch a movie I watch him fumble with a bunch of remote controls in order to get the screen showing from the $40K Kaleidescape server. Then a good deal of the time the video is choppy and he has to start going around his house resetting hubs, servers, RAIDs, and a bunch of other crap. By the time everything is working another hour has gone by or like last night it never started working correctly. Yeah that is much better then sticking a disk in a DVD player. His girl and I ended up at my house minus him and watched last Sunday's Sopranos off of my Tivo after he threw us all out pissed off at his expensive electronics.

Morning! Well have been on the phone all morning fighting the State Of Florida. How this government does not think my son who has Hemophilia doesn't need medical assistance beats the hell out of me.......|angry| He does iv infusions three times a week at 2grand a piece, over a years time you can imagine his bill. I may have got somewhere this morning as I will be receiving another application in the mail.....I've been fighting for five months now WTF???

As Terry said, it is a cold and wet day in Montreal, not at all enjoyable.

About 101 things to do today, pick the girlfriend up shortly, then run around and get a bunch of stuff done for her, and then run around and get a bunch of stuff done for me, then try to work some, and then head off for my final week of Tuesday Badminton. If everything goes according to the way of the universe and not plan, well, I should be done in about time to work at midnight or so. *sigh*.

I have been playing around with RSS feed collection and mixing techniques. I find that this is pretty much a legal mindfield of "non commercial use" and "add it to your blog" mentality that means a ton of time reading terms and conditions, and then trying to figure out what the fuck they really mean. Example, if my page does not charge admission but has some advertising on the page, it is commercial or sponosored non-commercial? Would that be different from a free hosted blog with a header? Can I use the material as long as I don't resell access? If I only quote headlines and provide a direct link to the original site, am I in violation or am I just being like a search engine?

RSS is in it's infancy, and I have a feeling someone is going to get lawyered somewhere along the line.

It is all good... except where it is bad.

Good evening all:) its 8.47 evening here, i am tired, i was up at 4 last night , because my daughter had the sick urge to send me a sms message to my mobile phone at 3.55 after midnight , telling me "mom i am still not sleeping" she is 3 days away with school, so my mobile jumped around and woke me up, i send her an message back, with thanks for charing, your grounded when you come back!!! Na i wont punisher her i cant wait till she comes back home tomorrow!:) other then that i am doing some work on one of my lls now and i hate it, but soon me jump into my bed again!
