Was the designated sober driver last night like I always am. I'm backing my neighbor's Hummer in the parking lot of the strip club when I hear bam. I was backing up real slowly and besides using the Hummer's mirrors it has a backup camera that I was also using so I'm like why didn't I see the car when I realized it wasn't my fault. Two guys drunk in a little white econo box came speeding backwards through the parking lot and ran into the back of the Hummer. Nothing at all happened to the Hummer but the bumper got ripped on their car. They didn't want to call the cops perhaps due to the fact that they were both pretty drunk. Since there was no damage to the Hummer we let them go on their drunk way.

Not that I'm complaining but where are this year's storms? This so far has been one of the nicest summers that I remember. It hasn't even been that hot or humid most days. Last night it was actually kind of cool.

Happy Anniversay GG! I fear that 10 year mark, which is next summer for us. Sandy says I have to buy her an engagmenet ring by our 10th anniversary. (Yeah, we do things a little differently.)

I found my sort of dream home yesterday while wandering the foot hills with my son. It's an old farm that been for sale for quiet a while on a dirt road. There are only two other homes on the road. At first, you see a shitty little house which is connected to the big barn - and you can't tell where the living quarters ends and the cow shit begins. It's really quite quaint. But, when you meander around the left side of the barns, you see the main home out back. The house itself is really not that special at all, though it does have a big deck and a ceeement pond. Looks like the place has been empty for about 3-5 years and needs a ton of love. (Probably not as much love as the house I live in right now though. :)) What makes it my sort of dream home? It's way the fuck off of the road and away from neighbors. It's perfect. I could become almost normal again if I lived there. I'd be more than happy on a dial-up connection, sitting outside with my laptop, watching my kids mow 40 acres of lawn with a push mower while the frogs swim around in the pool. So, who has $600k they aren't using?

I thought for sure that today was Friday, and that this was the long holiday weekend. So I've not only gained a day, somehow I have an extra week this month. Not knowing when it is is one of the side-effects (gift/curse) of living down in the Keys, and it even works on non-drinkers like me.

Happy anniversary wishes to Greenie & Mrs. Greenie and happy birthday to Mrs Ramster. :)

Sometimes I think it might be interesting to set up a sort of adult webmasters compound, sort of like the Mormons do in the outer regions of Utah. Nice big piece of land, far away from neighbors, with lots of houses, and the only residents would be adult webmasters and their families.

Okay, call me a dreamer. :D

Happy 10th Anniversary to the Bitch and Greenie! Busy day (invoices sent Doc so|nahnah| ) and then open house at school tonight. For some reason i feel like i'm forgetting something but i'm sure i'll remember a minute or two after it was supposed to be done. Oh well |huh

Ack! That reminds me, our 9th anniversery is coming up in two weeks and I have nothing planned. |huh

I'm quite certain that the Bush administration would be happy to accomodate your dream. Think how easy it would be for them to get rid of us in one fell swoop :-)

morning ...well 8.35 evening here:) today again tons of rain and thunder, i still have one kid at home, she wont have school till next wednesday and damnn she takes all my time these days, its funny she keeps babbling all day to me, now i know how my parents and hubby felt some years ago:D yeah yeah i was a big babbling girl too, well sometimes i am still a babbling girl! on this moment both of the monkeys (my kids) are still up so i think i am gonna watch a movie with them till its time for their bed, i am not hanging around this eve but i wish you all a great day!

I hear you UW on lack of neighbors. I'm on an acre, and right now have no one that lives on the acres on either side of me and I love it. I'd love to buy both of them as a large buffer around my house. But 40 acres? Wow that would be a dream come true.

I saw a home for sale that was 30 acres the other day, about 1/2 mile from the Chicken Ranch and Sherri's Ranch on a dead end road. Now that would be one I'd love to own, don't have to worry about a bunch of houses being built, the town won't let them develop their land into subdivisions. Being in the porn business, you couldn't ask for better neighbors. :D

Well, it probably couldn't come together until the Bush-leaguers are gone anyway. But maybe it wouldn't be in the USA anyway. I understand that there are a lot of wide-open spaces up in that country of yours too.
