A very fine Radio Show Tuesday Morning to all

My lovely wife decided that last night was a good night to pull an all nighter. We recently fired our housekeeper and my wife is now in the process of cleaning all the places that were missed this past year :)

So, I guess something got into her mind (maybe something on TV) that made her feel like "Sleep Assaulting" me at about 5 AM :) I fought and fought but found myself just too weak :) It's been a while since I started the day on such a high note :)

Have a fine day.

Good morning Jim, your day started fine :)

And to everyone of course... here we are having storms again and badass winds. And I have too many big trees close to the house having no AC. I hope they will make it.

Look how cute birdies I got!

A Wonderful Audio Broadcast AM to everyone as well |waves|

I actually got caught up on a lot of work yesterday, but fuck me, it was nice not looking at this board or an admin or even my email for 72 hours :D

The Bitch fucked up her other foot yesterday - I think I mentioned that a couple months ago, she somehow broke her left foot (3 hairline fractures) Well, yesterday she stumbled walking up some stairs, twisted her right foot & ended up ripping something (I forgot the name of the thing that tore itself off) So now she's got a boot on her right foot, which means she can't drive |banghead|

So I should be here all day, unless I have to chauffeur her around |angry|

digifan 2006-08-29 07:20 AM

Oh I wish her a speedy recovery :)

lorsha 2006-08-29 07:52 AM

Ouch! Speedy recovery to her. |waves|

Have a nice day everyone! |bananna|

Fonz 2006-08-29 08:10 AM

Morning all,

I've been messing around this morning with recording some live webcam streams and getting them ready to use for promotion purposes.
Now if that damn mailman would drop off those tech books I ordered I'm going to be a happy dude :)

Have a nice day all.

spookyx 2006-08-29 08:15 AM

speedy recovery to your better half greenie...

good morning all. I hope today is a profitable porn day for everyone

:D

bluemoney 2006-08-29 08:26 AM

Good morning!

I would give almost anything to get back into bed but it's off to work I go. Where the hell is my java . . . oh there it is :D

Ramster 2006-08-29 08:36 AM

Good Morning.

Still working on and finishing a project. Almost done then I can start on those other 3 projects I have in my head I want to do. :D

Greenguy, tell The Bitch to stay off the sauce. |couch|

Simon 2006-08-29 08:37 AM

Good morning world |waves|

Everything looks pretty grey here in hurricane central. Now we're watching to see how the storm reforms. Always a problem when a storm falls apart right before it hits warm water again. A new storm center could form and completely throw all their tracks off. So we won't really know where the storm is going until they do new projections based on a new center. Depending on how strong the outer bands of the storm are, we can lose power and have all phone, tv and radio go dead before they can tell us for sure where the eye will be. Makes for a nice night waiting to see what will happen (and will the water rise).

Sorry to hear Mrs Greenie got hurt again. Take good care of her, and have fun doing the chauffeur thing. :)

Digi - Those are hillarious, and nice work by somebody too. :D

Jim - Nice night, may you have many more like that. |thumb

I'm looking forward to the radio show tonight. So if I'm not there, please see paragraph one above.

Cleo 2006-08-29 08:54 AM

Well wishes for a speedy recovery to the Bitch.

Yeah what Simon says.

Gave up trying to buy gas yesterday and ended up just using some of my generator fuel in my car. I drove by the gas station up the street from me last night a bit after 11 pm and it still had long lines and the other one up the street from me was out of gas.

I wouldn't even have bothered try to get gas but I only had a quarter tank of gas and I had to drive Captain John around in order to move my neighbor's boat into an inland dock.

Trying to decide to put up the storm shutters or not. Right now I would say I'm not putting them up.

Not really sure what I'm doing today. Today would have been a gym day but I doubt the gym is open. I need to bring my car in for servicing since it seems to have a slow coolant leak but I doubt the car place is open. It's kind of like nothing to do but sit here and dread the coming storm.

Guess I'll just be doing web work today.

Torn Rose 2006-08-29 09:05 AM

Morning, not much here new to report just waiting to die which I think is suppose to be around 2 am our time tomorrow. Other then this, I got nothing to report.

She already runs rings around me so i'm gonna be totally fucked when her new toy arrives lol. See you all on the radio show tonight |thumb

Good morning all :)
Fast recovery and best wishes for Mrs Greenie.
For those on storm watch I wish the best to ya all as well.
Taking the wife to the airport later today. She will be gone a couple days which means there will be nobody to tell me to stop working and come to bed. Daughter and I missed the "Black Pearl" yesterday, oh well.

bluebrit 2006-08-29 10:10 AM

Just been glancing through the http://darwinawards.com/ for a few of life's funnies and came across a story from a few years back. For those who havent heard of the darwin awards its a site dedicated to the dumb assed way people have of checking out of this world on the way to the next along with a few humurous stories thrown in for good measure.
This story http://cgi.darwinawards.com/cgi/fram...ain200410.html falls into the humurous category and can be found found halfway down the page on the left titled "The lightbulb of doom". I had to link it this way as you can't link directly to old stories for some reason. Anyway enjoy |thumb

ponygirl 2006-08-29 10:13 AM

good morning everyone |waves|

:)

cd34 2006-08-29 11:13 AM

a little hurricane.. er tropical storm... er tropical depression(?) prep for today.

following up on a few resumes that were submitted -- now if only I could read Spanish to see what this one resume said. :) Je ne parle pas espagnol et je ne parle pas francais either.

About the only spanish I know is Taco, Burrito, Salsa... Bellburger. And they called French a romance language. Five years of french in school and all I can remember is La chein est sur la mur.

Ahh, the benefits of a public education.

Well, off to put up some hurricane shutters. Not that we need them, it just makes the house really dark which is great for watching movies before the sun sets. Not that I really get to watch movies, but, its nice to know if I could, that it would be dark.

Linkster 2006-08-29 11:53 AM

Good morning - getting things caught up around here so that I can go back in the hospital tomorrow - just got out yesterday and now I guess they want to go on an expedition that starts in some huge ass blood vein in my leg and goes up to my heart - then over to all the places blood is supposed to go but evidently isnt - fun times, but if they get it fixed I can at least walk to the mailbox without having to take nitro (see theres a bright side to everything I guess) - actually they are supposed to decide whether Im going to be locked up for an angioplasty or if they can get away with a cleaning job

Wow Linkster, sorry to hear that. We have a friend that just got scoped and the good news was that they found no blocked arteries, the bad news is that now they don't know what the heck is wrong.

I hope everything turns out Ok for you.

Simon 2006-08-29 02:37 PM

Best wishes, Linkster... hope to see you back here with good news soon.

Linkster 2006-08-29 02:40 PM

Actually if would probably be good to ignore my first few posts when I get back knowing how well I react to Demerol and Morphine - last time I actually tried to drive myself home :)

Fonz 2006-08-29 02:49 PM

Wishing you a speedy recovery Linkster!
And go easy on the morphine :)

Ouch. Feet are so hard to heal. "stay off of it as much as you can and give it time" Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, for both of your sakes.

My father had one of those, years ago. Much fun. I hope they find what they're looking for and all goes smoothly.
