No, this isn't a post/thread about porn that actually takes place underground (although...), but about relatively undiscovered niches that don't get much exposure or sponsor support.

Given Greenguy's post about his new tan-line category on link-o-rama (http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...55#post302255), I'm wondering, are there any other niches you wish more sponsors would promote? Any particular likes not getting their rightful content?

Eskimos? I know it sounds crazy but for a laugh I posted a pic of a topless inuit girl on one of my blogs and all the guys searching for the eskimo porn tgp (apparently eskimos take it up the ass) come by regularly now. It just shows the oddest things attract se hits.

I think its down to what models and venues that the content provider can get hold of.

When doing something new I dont think overture is much of a guide since the people dont know it exists till they see the link to 'topless mastectomy women' ... then they will all be looking.

the thing is that those of us that promote and stuff liek that don't want to talk about it because it only takes you to give away one thing and your market it ruined.

I can think of a couple other ones that I'd like to see (more) paysites created for - puffy nipples & big clit lips come to mind.

I'd like to see nude native american women. I have a small site that does OK with that, guess there just aren't that many models or I'd start a paysite. Anything involving ethnic women does well for me, the rarer the niche the better. As Satan said, you don't really think about Eskimo women a lot, but when you see that they are available you just have to take a look ;)

Non oriental Asians (India, Pakistan etc) are apparently extremely good sellers. One UK company used to publish about 20 different niche magazines, over half it's sales came from one magazine featuring this (and most of it's models were Spanish women pretending to be Asian anyway!).

Sneezing, nose-blowing (and related stuff like spitting and coughing) are hot but I think very few people know *how* hot unless they have the fetish themselves or are phone sex or camgirls who interact directly with customers.

This is very true. If you are not turned on by something, you will not make anywhere near as much money as if you promote something that does, even if the niche that works for you is not as good a seller.

If you are starting to promote a new niche, go find some of the related boards/groups and spend some time lurking. Knowing what the niche is actually about, rather than just going by a name/keyword will let you sell it much better.

Niches I would like to see, and promote:
Long Hair niches (has a nice following)
And an ass site, WITHOUT anal sex! (Yes, its true! Some people like butts, but dont like seeing a dick in the poopchute!) I personally love cheeks but really dont find the brown eye too attractive ;)

Hehe, those are two I would like to see. Ive noticed a few messaged boards based around girls in porn with long hair, and the folks there REALLY seem to like it. :)

I would imagine it comes down to shooting. As long as content providers aren't shooting asses only, no webmaster's gonna feel comfortable chucking the rest of the shoot. If webmasters shoot their own content or pay for custom, it's more doable, but still. The girl's willing to be in porn. You really gonna not take shots of her tits?

Also, getting the girls isn't necessarily easy. A subset of girls shoot for porn, and a subset of those have nice asses. Don't necessarily need Keyra-level, but definitely very nice. That's why you don't see "Nice Tits" as a category, only "Big Tits". Easier to find big tits than it is to find nice tits (and I'm not a fan of the fakies look). The only consistent category where there is a specifically elevated standard as part of the category is "Babes", which is general as it is.

I have to disagree here. Most webmasters catering to a specific niche and who is worth his salt would be quite happy to cull the set in favour of those specific shots his members are interested in.
There is no 'nice tits' category because 'nice' is subjective.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the internet drives that point home. What you consider to be a nice ass or tits may or may not appeal to someone else. In a highly targeted niche, members are quite happy to forego the "one million photos" in order to have the 2000 that they are specifically interested in; and pay a premium in the process.

A recent example: Last week I requested that members of balloon-guys.com email me with feedback to a couple of specific questions. The response was unanimous. They have zero interest in us adding a bit of gay oriented but non-balloon fetish material as a bonus, nor are they the least bit interested in live cam upsells. They come for the highly prized and rare collection of material we provide, and nothing more.
Did I mention that these members are incredibly loyal too? :-)

Simon's and Emmanuelle's posts illustrate what I said before. If (for example) asses don't turn you on, then don't do that niche. If Simon were to try it it would be a failure. But if you are turned on by asses, then there is a lot of money to be made there. On the other hand, something that turns Simon on, and that he would make a fortune at, would fail if an ass fan tried it.

As to the comment "The girl's willing to be in porn. You really gonna not take shots of her tits?" I can't speak for tits/ass shots, but if I were doing a photoshoot of two women wrestling (one of my turn ons) and they suggested doing some lesbian stuff, my thought would be "I am paying for wrestling, wrestling is hard to get. But lesbian is easy to get, so why waste the studio/models time (neither is cheap) on lesbian stuff?" I would guess that since ass stuff is harder to get than tit stuff the same would apply.

Many of the so called "niche" sites in the major sponsors' portfolios are just tours that get the surfer to the same collection of porn (a lot of it is junk feed anyway). Any wonder those sales don't retain? I am selling a gay uniform site by a big sponsor, it converts ok, but retains very poorly.

You do see a lot of Indian (Asian Indian) porn on the market already, in my opinion. But what you don't see is arab and persian women. In my experience, the culture is a lot more conservative and "family honor" based, so good luck finding too many of them doing porn.
