I'm going to stay in. Anyway, I'm not cured from cold yet, so I'm not going to get more sick going out and freezing my butt shooting rockets.

Good food, champagne, and after midnight 'Buena Vista Social Club' movie from television. Before that our youngster's hockey team will win Switzerland. Yesterday the hammered Ukrania: 14-1! Woo-hoo! After that The Dixie Chicks concert - from telly.

As mr.MaryLou said, New Year's Eve is an amateur night, so old pro like me stays home. We wanted to call couple of friends to visit, but they only have a motorcycle and there is freezing minus ten celcius outside. They also live out of town (not the same one where we live) so going to town first by bus and the here by train is a pain in the you know where...

Other then probably going into my front yard and trimming my hedges this afternoon I'm not doing a damn thing.

I'm still not completely over this cold so the last thing I need to do is go to some smoke filled club and get myself all sick again before Vegas.

I got a very large curry being delivered in a few minutes, I got a fridge full of Stella and a very sexy lady to see the new year in with.

Wow!! It's kinda funny, but perfectly understandable too. As I read this thread, almost to a person, no one is going out tonite to do anything really big. Either colds or caution (keeping away from the amateurs) is keeping just about all of us indoors with our loved ones and our personal "good time" supplies. Count me amongst the rest of ya's. I'm not about to lose all my Vegas stamina and possibly get sick by going out to a bar or a friend's party this year.
