Happy Sports Filled Canadian Visitors Weekend Everyone!

Ok, so that title really only applies to Yell & myself, but it is snazzy....Morning Everyone |waves|

Ramster & 2 of his hot tub friends are coming down for the Sabres/Leafs game tonight (Ottawa fans hate Toronto as well) and then the Bills/Packers game tomorrow - nothing like 6 hours of hockey, 6 hours of sleep & then 10 hours of football fun |bananna|

Needless to say, I'll be scarce until Monday |thumb

Ramster 2006-11-04 07:53 AM

Good Morning.

Just checking things out this morning before doing the drive down to Buffalo. Yes we Ottawa fans do not like Toronto. Go Sabres! (even though they beat us out of the playoffs last year :( )

Jim 2006-11-04 08:06 AM

Morning
Damn, it got cold last night. I think it might be time to bring in our water hoses before they freeze. I'll be around most of the morning but this afternoon, I am teaching my daughter to drive some more and getting her boyfriend to do some work on our roof :) Christmas Decorating work, that is...

Cleo 2006-11-04 08:18 AM

Looking to be a rather nasty rainy day here today and I kind of look like a chipmunk with my face swollen from the surgery so it's probably a good day to just stay indoors and work.

Guess today will be a happy meds and porn kind of day.

Doctor prescribed Percocet but for some odd reason the drug store gave me Oxycodone. My doctor wasn't too happy about it since he knows my past drug habits. I have to say that these are almost as pleasurable as mainlining heroin which is kind of scary. Good thing he prescribed me way more then I would need. I'll have some left over for doing a little clubbing once I'm all healed up. :D

spookyx 2006-11-04 08:42 AM

good morning everyone! cold here and my kitty kat decided i was the warmest thing in the house to sleep on last night

:D

Good morning world |waves|

Today was one of those 'wake up before 4 and wonder why' mornings. I'm pretty sure I hear a nap calling in the distance.

But first there's the Tige Pro-Am Wakeboard Championship at the local beach today. Free admission and close-to-shore action should draw a nice crowd.

Forecast is cloudy and windy, with 20-30 mile gusts, so if they don't cancel the event it should make for some interesting watching. A quick shower and I'm out the door.

A good weekend to all.

:)

dareutwo 2006-11-04 08:51 AM

Morning all -
Temps expected in the mid 40's today, so I'm thinking final yard clean up this afternoon.
Kids went a dance last night at the school, and apparently a bunch decided our house was as good a place to stay as any. Counted 3 extras so far, we'll see what the tally totals when they all wake up.
Other than that, probably a half day and nap this afternoon.

Have a great weekend!

Morning!

It's beautiful here this morning! Windy but a perfect 70's day ahead. My youngest son cooked me dinner last night |shocking| He made roast beef, green beans and stuffing and it was delicious!! He even did all the dishes after!

dareutwo you sound like a great dad!!

Have a dog training lesson this afternoon other than that just work! Have a great day all!

lorsha 2006-11-04 09:21 AM

Have a great weekend everyone! GO GIANTS! |bananna|

Toby 2006-11-04 09:41 AM

Mornin' y'all,

A nice cold front persists and it's now been cool enough, long enough, that we're actually getting cold water out of the tap, rather than the usual luke warm. :D

Nothing major on the agenda today. Hope to find a live internet feed of the radio broadcast of the alma mater vs Arizona State this afternoon. Hopefully they won't have a huge let down after the big upset of USC last week. |priesthol |touchdown

Other than that, just the usual slingin of the porn...

|coffee is on, help yourself

emmanuelle 2006-11-04 09:59 AM

'morning
just a nice quiet day tinkering around the house, ignoring the phone.
GG- Is there something that you'd like to share with us? After staying up all night watching bisexual porn last weekend, and Ramster's sorta-gay-sounding hot tub adventures, I think you may have some 'splaining to do. Of course pictures will make it all better :-D

MrMaryLou 2006-11-04 10:14 AM

Good Morning All :)

I'm really surprised that not too many people caught on to that little tidbit of info from last weekend :D

I'll dust off the camera & takes some pics tonight & tomorrow |thumb

Morning..

today is the last day of the Auto Aftermarket peeps being here.. with the closing of the newest in "paint, stripes and coatings" show called NACE. There are a myriad of great colors I especially am fond of the new metalic orange but I know others would like the lime green. |greenguy|

Back from the beach.

They're trying...but there's a non-stop misty rain with a strong wind that's making the ocean too choppy for the wakeboarders to do much of anything except fall down. Hey, if 'misty rain' didn't sound porn-y enough, how about: I'm home because I couldn't watch one more amateur who couldn't keep it up.

Interesting, with the title of this thread being what it is, there were quite a few vehicles with Canadian plates parked at the beach. Seems last year's Pro-Am winner is from up there.

> Added: actually it's Humboldt, Saskatchewan, which Google tells me is 2,824 miles from here. That's a long drive to wind up having to compete in weather like we have here today. <

Maybe I'll try later if the weather changes, otherwise I'm sure I can find something to do around here.

:)

:)

I wonder where someone from Humboldt trains? An irrigation ditch?

Fonz 2006-11-04 11:58 AM

Good afternoon all,

Just lost our saturday soccer game with 3-4. I did score the 1-0. 40 minutes later it was 1-4 :)

I came home to eat my salad and in an hour or so I'm back off to the bar to drink another gallon of bottled water. Life is fun.

Palm Beach County has the longest straight flat-water stretches in the state (and a world-class waterski park).

The flat-water stretches are irrigation canals that go in all different directions, so, if the wind is blowing from the East, you go to a north-south canal.

Tara Hamilton is from Lantana which is just south of here and got into wakeboarding because another wakeboarding superstar (who's name I cannot remember) dared her. Now she and her sister are top ranked.

Toyota ended up sponsoring the guy and he had a free boat, a free truck to pull it, and quite an endorsement racket. Getting paid to wakeboard.....

So, we get to see our fair share of people training. Andy Mapple should be coming down soon who used to be the in the top 5 ranked slalom skier for almost 20 years -- and trains a few miles from my house.

So, yes, irrigation ditches are popular. :)

Work, Football & Porn for me as usual. An overdue congrats to Toby's Beavers on their upset win over SC.

Please allow me to introduce you to irrigation ditches in western Canada
http://www.mccord-museum.qc.ca/en/co...mber=VIEW-8453

this one is in Alberta, a slightly more cosmopolitan place than Saskatchewan :D
