Happy "Go Vote" Tuesday

Today is the big day...Go Vote
Good Morning
No Radio Show tonight just so there is no reason not to vote :)

Fonz 2006-11-07 08:38 AM

Morning,

I'm going to see Borat tonight. I'm sure I'll like it but I'm not sure what the 4 girls that will go with me will think of it :)

Other than that I'm going to go trough the database of my LL's and delete everything that I don't like. Smilingpussylinks just reached 20,000 listed sites so it's time to cut in the amount of listed sites.
That and the redesign of my 2 TGP's should keep me busy for a few weeks :)

Have a nice day all.

Greenguy 2006-11-07 08:43 AM

Good Tuesday Peoples |waves|

I'll be heading out to vote in about 2 hours & then over to my grandmother's for lunch.

The rest of the day look like a lot of CNN & online porn |thumb

Torn Rose 2006-11-07 09:02 AM

We voted last week, you have to love the early voting option, now hopefuly diebold will allow our votes.

Just working and watching the news all day.

terry 2006-11-07 09:06 AM

Happy Voting Day to my US friends.

Have a great day and good luck.

sue-fl 2006-11-07 09:07 AM

Morning!

We all also voted last week, if you don't vote you can't bitch so VOTE |thumb

Waiting on my dog trainer to get here. When this 8 week training session is over I better have the best behaved dogs on the planet! We are also going into advanced training with Bruno, he is going threw the home protection course after this is over. From what all this cost me, I expect a lot.

Have a great day all!

dareutwo 2006-11-07 09:15 AM

Morning all -
Voted after I dropped the boys off at school. Paper ballot but electronic reader... sort of weird set up, but it worked fine and was quick.

Opened the gym up last night for the kids to play some BB. I love seeing how much they can get out of shape from football to bb season :D

Have a great voting day all!

Ramster 2006-11-07 09:20 AM

Good Morning.

Got home yesterday afternoon from Buffalo. Awesome time!! a big thanks to Greenguy and The Bitch for having me and a couple of friends for the weekend. |thumb

Back to the usual today.

docholly 2006-11-07 09:21 AM

Morning!!

I'm off to the polls in about an hour. One of the disadvantages of early voting is that you just never know who is going to implode just before election day.

Not much on for today.. paperwork for my 'other' job, rugdawg has school and labs later so I'm going early to cast my ballot with the blue haired old ladies watching to make sure the machines are working properly. They can't freaking see to drive but they can make sure a sophisticated Diebold computer system is functioning properly. |virgohippy|

Have a great "Kick the ASSholes outta office" day. |roses|

Mornin' y'all,

I finally decided what I'm going to do with a domain I've been sitting on. Now I need to find the time to design the site, install the scripts, and start building traffic.

|coffee is on, help yourself

Advantage to voting in a small town; in and out. |waves|

Have a great day everyone!|bananna|

Cleo 2006-11-07 10:27 AM

Morning :)
Looking to be another overcast rainy day.

Most of my swelling has gone down in my face but now I've got a lot of bruising so I kind of look like I've been in a bar fight or rain into a brick wall drunk. Will probably spend the daylight hours hiding. Guess it actually is a good thing that it's getting dark at 5:30 in the afternoon since I'll probably be living a vampire's life for the next week.

Just when I think I've heard it all… I'm having sex with a couple of my friends the other night when the girl yells out to the guy fucking her "now pull it out and glaze my donut." I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that about lost it when she yelled that out.

I wonder who they have fixed the votes to elect this time?

Yep, we will have the same thing today. And, our voting machines are the old fashioned ones where you walk in, pull a lever that closes a curtain, flip some switches and pull the lever to cast the vote and open the curtains. Should take about 5 mins from time of arrival until we leave.

The way it should be every place in the US.

Not much but a hello today and back to work.

Vote against the bums, throw them out, and let's make this duck lame.

Good Morning Folks |waves|

If I’m to believe the “Mud Slinging Ads” it’s just a matter of voting for who is the least crooked between the Democrats & Republicans. That’s why I vote Libertarian.

cd34 2006-11-07 10:49 AM

I wanted to vote prior to the lunchtime crowd, however, the workload that developed overnight will make getting to the polls dicey. However, I will be there, casting my vote.

I saw an interesting ad for a candidate last night on TV -- its rare I watch network TV -- a guy asking for a writein, pretty sincere sounding ad, and on the right channels to get that grassroots vote. I wondered if it was too late for him to get much of the vote, but, at least he wouldn't be involved in those deep-voice voiceover mudslinging campaigns.

Our county/state is again in the middle of the political fray with Foley (and his name still being on the ballot), and now Masilotti (a lawyer that was a councilmember that owned options on properties that he sold to Lennar after our city annexed the property).

No end to the corruption in all levels of government it seems.

Vote early. Vote often.

I do hope they aren't serving doughnuts at the polling place today.

Lemmy 2006-11-07 10:58 AM

Just cast my vote. If Ned Lieberman is still senator tomorrow it ain't my fault. In and out in 5 minutes. Would've been faster if they hired election officials younger that 80.

Hi |waves|

emmanuelle 2006-11-07 12:13 PM

Good morning
I know nothing about this election besides Michael J. Fox's campaigning, so I'll keep my uninformed 2 cents in my pocket.
Now get your asses out to the polls and make yourselves heard! The right to vote is one of the hallmarks of democracy- and one of the things that makes us fortunate indeed.

If it's Cleo's friend that I think it is, it is on a rather impressive set of hard drives in his office.

I believe our government to be more of a Republic than a Democracy. I don't believe there has ever been a true Democracy. Even the fact that we have an electorial college invalidates the fact that we have a Democracy. In an age where technology would allow popular vote rather than the electorial college system, we still have the electorial college.

In our Pledge of Allegiance, the line is actually,

"And to the Republic, for which it stands"

But, your point still stands. :) People do need to vote because it is a right to have a voice in the government. And if there are enough voices, change occurs.

mr.sexbankroll 2006-11-07 12:50 PM

Happy voting day to the U.S. !

Good luck everyone!

He does really know what it takes to get the girls excited and want them to glaze their donuts although I'm more of just a voyeur around him.

Wow it's one in the afternoon and I've still not gotten ready for the day. In just four and one half hours it will be dark again. Maybe I should just go back to bed and try again tomorrow.

I agree!

We live in a constitutional republic based on democratic principles and the rule of law.

MLK marched on Washington because it was well within his right under the rule of law, not because it was popular.

Our democratic principles allow for free and open voting.

The rule of law is to insure the outcome does not violate anyone’s rights under the constitution.

The challange is to elect people who understand this and govern with individual freedoms always at the forefront.

spookyx 2006-11-07 03:39 PM

Good afternoon all!

I hope Gabbo runs for office in 2008 :D
