Lets hope he truely understands that the people have spoke and
gets rid of a few more over the next few weeks. Starting next with the current AG would be nice. Ben |
And while this goes on, CNN projects Montana going to the Democrats :) Only Virginia remains and the Webb has about 6700 more votes than Allen :)
|
I guess the message was received.
|
Gosh! I feel so safe today just knowing that Linkster's Congressman is going to be the chairman of the Home Land Security Committee.
|
Hehe - unfortunately he'll have his hands full with Rumsfelds replacement - Gates is the guy that was in charge of the CIA position during the Iran-Contra affair - seems Bush's dad is circling the wagons like old war horses to make sure Geo. Jr doesnt take a fall - Baker is already there to help with Iraq
Isnt it amazing how in that press conference today Bush admitted he lied to the nation last week about not replacing Rumsfeld - and nobody blinks an eye - yet it seems to me lying to the nation led to an impeachment proceeding a few years back - totally pathetic how easily these crooks can just take more and more from you easy going apathetic "citizens" |

That’s because Bush’s lies only have caused the deaths of 2000+ Americans and countless others, when Clinton lied it was about sex.... Geeze dude, you are comparing apples to oranges. |

You seem a little bitter juggernaut :)
|
:) Jim not bitter at all, just frustrated. I’m not upset that Don is leaving; he did what needed to be done. He changed the military. I did not like that the guy was really unwilling to listen to the military. Reading this stuff does get under my skin a little as I am a republican and do not flop to the other side when things are bad. I remember the 2nd term of Clinton people hated the guy. You could not turn on the TV or read a news paper where he was not doing something fucked up. He did two incredible things really. 1) Balance the budget (which was amazing and my hat off to him) 2) got elected for a 2nd term which is unheard of for a democrat. It’s unheard of for a reason. The democrat before Clinton claimed he was attacked by a rabbit while on a small fishing boat and he saw UFO’s. The one before that did nothing. He signed in tax reforms and the country still plummeted into a recession and the worse gas crisis of all time. So bad, that the entire City of NY claimed bankruptcy. And I’m sure people here will blame that on the war in Nam but remember something about that (STARTED BY A DEMOCRAT AND KEPT WAGING BY A DEMOCRAT). I'm very patriotic and because of that it starts to drive me nuts when day after day I read people complain when I know, not 100% sure but pretty sure from reading the time stamps on their posts that they do not vote or try and change anything. I vote, I vote whenever I can and make no changes to my day that will affect it. Everyone who knows me knows I'm hardcore for change, most important is in government. I think an administration that stays in office too long causes more harm then good. I don't think there should ever be a 2nd term, 4 years and your out. Another thing that drives me nuts is this Clinton hugging. Shit the guy approved Iranian Arms Transfers that helped turn Bosnia into Islamic militant society. If anyone here thinks he did not have a hand in any of the killing there then your wrong. He is the reason American businesses are looking overseas for workers. Not the republicans. Republicans do business along with running the country; Democrats do nonsense under the blanket of “It’s best for the people.” Money is best for the person, that’s all. Like I said before it's not the party, it's the people of this country who are ruining it. People can think things are fixed and nothing can change but tell that to the ones who started it. I'm sure many felt the same way back then, the only thing really different is the technology but yet they still did it. Democrat or Republican, both have sent soldiers to war. One of the most beloved presidents ever in this country sent 18k worth of Special Forces to Viet Nam to help stabilize the south. That was the start of it. Where did that get us? More people died in 1 day in that war then this wars entire timeframe to include the first one. The only way things can change because they are so fucked up now, is for people to educate themselves and their kids to include politics as a major top 3 MUST involve. You must learn about your local leaders and what they stand for, what have they done in the past and what they intend to do. Only then over a few generations can this whole mess be cleaned up. It’s not about the man or woman being an elephant or donkey.
Sorry for the book, just got up, time for coffee.. |
Any & all republicans can suck my big fat hairy freckled ass! |thumb

I see we can expect a big announcement from the good Senator Allen in Virginia in about 1/2 hour. I wonder what he is going to say. :) |
I think he's going to say that he's ridden the coat tails of his father's name for long enough & that he's going to retire from politics.
|
what did allen say?

I was a registered Republican for more years than you have been alive. The Republican party used to stand for small government, a balanced budget and support for all business. look what they morphed into Biggest Government in history Biggest debt in history Biggest Businesses get the vast majority of their support I not only voted I worked my butt off for a couple days making sure my 9,000+ young Bush hating MySpace friends got out and voted too. The News is saying that this has been the biggest turnout of under 25 year old voters in 20 years, I'm sure my "get your ass out and vote" efforts made a small number get off the couch and vote but most of the credit goes to Bush |thumb Jugg I still love ya, but I got to tell you, your brainwashed :D |
It's far easier to be a republican - there's a lot less thinking involved. You never have to question your leaders' intentions, agenda, abilities... You never have to understand your country's own history and the dirty truth that isn't taught at sub-collegiate levels. You can just sit there satisified that no matter what your government does - it's right and true.
Anyone who still feels that the invasion and attempted occupation of Iraq was justified probably also forgets to reach for the toilet paper before they begin to wipe themselves. |
And well see what good it does us. Hey guess what where I live Democrats ran it here for the last 8 years and guess what. NJ has the highest taxes in the country. Get your wallets ready. I just heard on the radio that NJ government will be giving a 20% property tax break. Wonder where that money will come from. I guess we won't know till a few years down the road. Should be interesting to see.

Just a little note on when I say 100 years. Democrats held the majority seat for most if it. In conress
http://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/..._Leaders.htm#4 Congress for those who don't know, has the right to veto any law the president wants the enact. |
Don't get your panties in a wad, it ain't much difference from the past.
I have been served by 12 presidents. The 6 Democrat presidents have served me for 29 years and the Republicans served me for 34 years. During my life, the Democrats had the majority in the Senate for 43 years and the Republicans for 20 years. Democrats controlled the House of Representatives for 47 years and the Republicans for 16 years. I have woke up the morning after 32 national elections. On the morning of 11/08/06, I woke to the status que - Congress is controlled by 435 professional politicians of which 280 of them call themselves Democrats. As long as you are governed by professional politicians and not common men, your rights will continue to erode. The moral to this story is that I am 63 years old. |
juggernaut - throw everything out the window with the exception of your business, which is porn. Porn is the livelyhood of 99.44% of the people that read this message board.
Now think about what party has pushed the 2257 crap on us in the last few years. Republicans are very much anti-porn - so you just keep backing the people that want to put you out of business |thumb |

GG I agree they have been over the top with their views on sex and porn. The point I have been trying to make here and maybe have not been clear enough. I honestly don't see either party as good. Do I see the republicans as better? Yes from a money point of view only. I don't think the democrats are going to go any easier on the 2257 thing. I think that's a part of a backlash we are all going to feel cause of the internet and TV. Middle America has so much weight with politics, they are the religous nuts and when they logged on the internet in order to look stuff about god, What did they get? Pop Ups and porn spam. Then the internet gets normal people to be more open about sex. But what comes from it? TV shows end up showing cartoons that have heavy undertones of sex. Southpark is a perfect example. I love the show but should a 8 yr old watch it? I don't think so, or at least if I had an child I would not let them watch it. Some families had no idea about the show so they let their kids watch it. Next thing you know little Bobby is walking around calling mom a bitch. These things also stem from the music world. Kids repete things they know nothing about, but the parents freak out tell their church and that's the end. Government listens to them cause they vote thats all. If everyone did then they would not have so much power. All I'm saying is listen to what the person who is running for mayor in your town is saying cause realisticly he/she be president. Screaming for one party or the other does nothing. They are both assholes. Learning who is best for the office is the hardest thing cause most of them are liers. But if we get involved more in local and federal politics they would get the message. One thing that people who love the demo party are not looking at is the future. They are THINKING the party is going to be their savor for all this. It just might be worse, we don't know. They have already stated they are going to try and bring the USA jobs back to USA. Ok great, but China has already stated that if we do anything that fucks with the 1 trillion they have invested in the country they are turning those dollars into other money. These things stem from a short term fix applied by a democrat at the time everyone thought was a great a idea. But no one looked down the road to the possible out comes. Both have fucked this country bad, that's all I'm trying to say. I personnaly think the republicans have fucked us a lot less then the demos.
PS re-building a box might not be able to respond in a while. |
He was a man who never made mistakes.
And now he's the one to blame - like in a theater |
