The Reason I Don't Watch CSI
 

Each commercial, they give you one of these hacky one-liner "jokes" and that alone turned me off to the show, but this just reinforces my feelings:

I don't watch them anymore either but to be fair, he only does the one liners just before the beginning of the show. The rest of the show just goes into commercials. And, I never liked CSI Miami. :)

David Caruso has been a douchbag since he played the whiny bitch cop in the first Rambo. My wife loved him and even she got sick of CSI Miami. I enjoyed CSI and CSI NY until this year. They do look good in HiDef. :)

David Caruso graduated from the William Shatner school of over-acting. His fake tough guy act sucks and ruins CSI Miami.
I still watch the other two CSI shows and NCIS.

I very rarely watch any of the CSI shows any more, but when I do happen to catch a CSI Miami I just ignore Caruso and wait for the next scene with Emily Proctor. What can I say, I like pretty, long-haired blondes. :D

My wife is addicted to that crap. I just watch hockey, football, Deadwood and the Sopranos. And the Sopranos sucked last night. Season premiere and its all crap from older shows |huh

Never saw the Spranos until last night on A & E. Going to dvr all of them, and start watching the show. Hubby and I enjoyed it. |thumb

CSI Miami rox:D but I don't like CSI New York

Read the thread from last year when I said I was done with them :) Too many holes to be enjoyable. And for some reason, the CSIs are kind of made for HiDef. They look as good as any live sporting event while most TV shows don't. And, any old movie remastered to HiDef looks like shit. Vickie used to love the way "H" would take his glasses on and off. But even she couldn't take it anymore.

Blood scares me... unless it's my own.

My room mate watches television all night. Sometimes I come out of my private little porn-slinging hideaway to get a snack and I'm sucked into trying to understand the mentality of the killers.

But CSI gets boring real quick. Criminal Minds is much more my cup of tea. :D

I wouldn't say they look like shit, but they look good for movies that were made 30 years before HD was invented :)

It's a great show! But it was a letdown for me because I'd seen it all before and was expecting new stuff.

New episodes start in April on HBO.

I was channel surfing the other night and the Peoples Choice Awards was on. Emily Proctor came out of the audience as one of the presenters. She had on a SHORT dress. Damn, she's hot...

She can swab me for evidence any time.

Caruso is the reason I can't watch CSI Miami and Mz Proctor is the reason I wanna check it some times (ah that 2nd head of mine...).
Has anyone noticed how Caruso always seems to be acting to the floor instead of whomever he's interacting with in the scene? Clooney used to do that a lot in his early years (check him acting opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and you'll know what I mean) but apparently was smart enough to take some acting lessons and he seems to be doing a lot better lately.
Caruso sucked in NYPD Blue and hasn't changed a bit since then (but according to Hollywood's grapevine the word "huge" and the word "ego" might explain that...).
