Interracial Terminology Question
 

Sometime in the near future I want to split up my Interracial categories into Black Males With White Females & Black Females With White Males.

Now, my problem is that describing those 2 categories takes at least 6 words, so I want to abbreviate that a bit. Would these be acceptable & understood?

Interracial: BM WF
Interracial: WM BF

If not, so you have any other suggestions?

Makes sense to me. I mean we assume surfers know what BBW, BDSM and so on mean when we use them, so I don't really see any reason why those abbreviations would be misunderstood.

I'd suggest 'black on white' and 'white on black'. Don't ask me to explain it, but it is commonly used terminology in the niche, and more likely to be understood than abbreviations.

So...

Interracial Black On White = black guy & white girl
Interracial White On Black = white guy & black girl

I agree with emmanuelle here white on black and black on white makes sense to me too

and i am sure you know this but there is a huge difference as a surfer I adore white on black and abhore black on white... weird huh?

Not really. I do want to split that category because of it's size, but I know I have white on black sites in both the interracial & black categories, so by making this new category, I'd be able to hopefully make everyone happy :)

If it were my site, I would have only solo black and black on black scenes in the black category. Black is not the same thing as interracial.

I would also consider having a category for interracial scenarios that do not involve black vs white such as Asian/white etc. Since there is not a huge glut of this material, the third category could act as a sort of catch all.

I've noticed that you've listed Brutus Black under 'big dick' (or something like that). You might try moving him to your new black on white category. I'd be willing to wager that his site would convert much better for you.

Otherwise, I agree with the terms Emma mentioned. I think those abbreviations would get lost in translation. And if it wasn't for bad translations, Iraq never would have been able to bomb Pearl Harbor.

I guess interracial teminology is like sports. You know when a team is 4 and 3 that they have 4 wins and 3 losses. So when someone says White on Black, they must know that it is a White guy with a Black woman.

The male in these scenarios is generally understood to be the more agressive partner, and thus 'on' the woman.

I really don't have a good category for him (as well as a few others) because it's not all interracial - it's really a Solo Black Male site where it's based around him with both white & black girls. So I had to put it in Big Cocks until I can create yet another category :D

While I understand & agree with what you're saying, I think most people think of a black guy & a white woman when they here "interracial"

If I did put all the sites that have Asian, Latina, Indian, etc women with white men into their own interracial category, I'd have some very empty pages.

It's such a mixed culture down here that I can't tell what race many people are descended from.

I would know what this meant if you used it. You always assume the guy is first... Using the letters BW and a glancing look would suggest BBW

The text on the top of the category page will be the full term/words, but I need some sort of abbreviation for the main page & category tale on the bottom of the pages that short & sweet :)

This is a tough one as generally when I think interracial it's black guy with white girl and I think a lot of people view that category as that. When I'm reviewing generally I'll only put black guy / white woman in the interracial category...then the rest of the interracial stuff goes in the categories of Black / Asian / Indian, etc, etc, etc

I know it's not a perfect system, but it can become a nightmare if you make categories up for every possible coupling.

Nope, not weird at all. Lots of folks are very racist* when it comes to what tricks our sexual triggers. Fortunately for many adult webmasters.

Reading a little on ebony/interracial wm boards, they do get pissy about a lack of sub-categorical distinctions, and rightfully so. What about asian chicks white dicks? Seems interracial to me. Have that under "asian" now? Are there not enough sites that cater to the combination? In for a penny... Although I prefer the neatness of the "WF BM" style, if you do plan on expanding, having the full words might make it clearer. "IF WM" --> If webmaster, or indian female white male? :D

I think you'll find more of those than Asian Guy Asian Girl sites.

That's part of the problem - which we touched on earlier - there's not a lot of Asian Male Asian Female or Latino Male Latina Female sites, so if you made Interracial categories for those 2 niches & moved all the sites that had white guys to those categories, the original Asian & Latina categories would be very empty.

No, that's why I asked, out of curiosity. I meant more about white guys with asian girls. I think it's plausible that people get off on the interracial aspect of it, more than just the asian part. With asian adult markets growing, providing they can legally surf it, the distinction between asian and interracial with asian might be worth having, or at least, allowing room for.
