Then how do you explain this traffic decreasing?

1. This is no way to get a submit pass to his site.
2. Alexa is not a true test of traffic to someone site.
3. No matter how much traffic dipped over a few holiday months its still more traffic than most will ever see.

Have a little class and build your rep like everyone else and then maybe one day he will take the time out personally to reject you.

Of course, Alexa is not a perfect statistic source, but any way it shows as tendency to increasing or decreasing traffic.

And I think DD is keeping his high reputation and traffic because of good efforts in the past |thumb

I'm not expecting partner account from him in such way, because i am aware of how possible it is |loony|

Anyone who knows me, knows that I don't like to reply to meaningless threads and certainly don't like to involve myself in name-calling (:D ), but I think you are an ignorant fucking cocksucker. Not only should you not worry about DD's traffic, but you should be banned from life. You should put down to spare the world of stupidity. Ask some nice person to take you to a veterinarian so you can be put to rest humanely. Tell them to send the bill to me. I'd be happy to pay for that. If you expected a partner account, there was no worse way to request one.

Those of us who submit to DD can you tell you that his traffic is flowing smoothly and heavily. Alexa is absolute bullshit.

And if you are somehow shocked by response, I'd tell you to shove your head a little deeper in your ass and tell us all what the flowers smell like.

GG&Jim is not anti-newbie. We may not have the same amount of patience as those sigwhore-led newbie boards, but that doesn't mean we dislike newbies. The webmasters here are busy people, so they don't have the time to spoon feed anyone or be a great motivational source or end every sentence with an exclamation point to encourage you. It's a tough business and all the sugar coating in the world won't change that.

As for language, well yes, a few of us are guilty of pointing out that certain individuals obviously cannot communicate well enough for us to get a sensible reply out of them. Hell, maybe they suck in their own language too. ;) It's an English speaking board. That's all that really should need to be said about that.

Yes - you should be apologizing to Dave. I doubt it will do anything, but it is always good to acknowledge when you fucked up.

posting that his traffic is down is surly no way of ever getting a submitt pass with him, and going by alexa to say his traffic is down or falling is plain stupid...

I have a pass with him since about when he went to a private submitter base, and I can say is traffic ranks right up to the top tgps I submitt to, like tommys pic hunter shemps, richards just to name a few..

and dam I'd said many many times to my self how productive his traffic is:)

What my traffic is/does/and entails is essentially known only to me...

Alexa tries to guess, others like to spculate, and some even try to analyse..... but the truth is they are all just making assumptions...

1. I don't need submitters to get/have/keep traffic.
2. How much traffic I want/need/or desire is only known to me.
3. The number of requests for a submission account is inversely proportional to the likelihood of you actually recieving one.
4. Don't speculate about things that you could have no possible understanding of.
5. NEVER take anything from Alexa as gospel
6. Before you post about people... make sure you have an understanding of who they are and where they fit in to the board you are at.

6. Don't post about it again
7. Don't expect an account from me anytime soon.

Now get to work fixing your reputation!

Speaking of Alexa, Greenie and I found something a few days ago that tries to guess Demographics of a site. They claimed that the majority of people that visit Greenguyandjim are rich, white guys. :) Then again, they also claim that we get more unique visitors than gfy :) If you took their stats at their word, every member that posts on gfy would have to have at least 10 fake nicks. :)

All be the first one to say this board is more then fair to newbies. I have gotten a lot of help over the last year. I sure would not be where I am today without the board. Think before you post. I wouldn't tell a newbie their traffic sucks, let alone someone thats a vet like Dave. Respect of others brings respect. I have never said someone should or shouldn't be banned. One should not be banned for a stupid remark,but its not a bad idea for someone to be banned for such a lack of respect in a public place. Some people here are well liked, and some are not,but everyone is respected.
I consider myself a newbie still. Alexa sucks ass. My rank was 950K and I had shit traffic. I now have ten times the traffic,2 times the PR and my rank is like 1.4 million.

He must be pretty well hung I imagine ;-) Alexa is just one of many things that you need to consider and you need to know that it measures hits to all pages on a website (pretty innacurately) and not just the front door. How many people actually have an Alexa toolbar that are not webmasters? I made my freesites for more than year, submitting them to 45-60 LL manualy and every time trying to make different templates. At this time my daily freesite traffic is about 15k uniq hits per day and it is very painful to lost one of my favorite LL

I despise myself about what i wrote and, i repeat, i'm sorry about that...!
