What's up with Epoch/Paycom now?
For the last few days their link code has been timing out off and on.
Like in my link code http://clicktrack.wnu.com/clicktrack...l.com/shemale/ It looks something is up with their sub-domain http://clicktrack.wnu.com/ Since without the sub-domain their url works http://wnu.com/ Anyone from Epoch around? |
No problem with either of your links Cleo. I have tried the first a few times this morning.
|
The top two time out for me as well :(
|
No timing out here for me.
Good luck trying getting some from Epoch in here :) |
Their code has been hanging on and off for 20 minutes or so for the last few days.
I first found out about it after Angel's affiliates started emailing me asking what was up. Working again for me.
Lets see how long before it goes down again. :( |
works here too
|
All working here.. :)
DD |
Fine for me also
|
I pointed this thread out to a friend of mine at epoch.

Great :(
Now it isn't timing out but it also isn't going to the sponsor's site either. It just goes to a blank page without refreshing to the sponsor's site. :( Test Link Been doing this since this morning and judging by sales it started doing this yesterday. |
worked for me Cleo, I'll give it a few minutes and try again
|
Waited all morning to post about this and then as soon as I posted naturally it started working again. |banghead|
Maybe there is magic in this board after all. :D |
Nope Not Fixed I got your blank page
|
Up, down, up, down... Maybe Epoch needs some Viagra.

Working fine from here now.
|
Been down again this morning - although its been up and down for 4 weeks - lots of sales being left on the table
|
Up again.
probability of being down again... |
I was signing up to an affiliate, that uses Paycom as her processor and the link off her site goes to Paycom.net and IE and FF cannot find the site online. Guess I wont be signing up to that affilliate LOL

Couldn't login earlier to stats, and now that I can, it looks like traffic wasn't getting through either.|banghead|
Not nice when the traffic is PPC.|club
I think they were completely down for a few hours this morning.
|
Yep - they were claiming a "power loss" - of course that doesnt explain what has been going on for the last 4 weeks
|
Stuff like this shows why a paysite should never use a processor's link codes and use a simple php front end instead.
It still kills foxyangel when this happens. We basically have a simple php front end that strings together the default CCBill and Epoch link codes together so when Epoch goes down it makes foxyangel unreachable through the affiliate's link code. Butt... With a php front end you can pull Epoch or CCbill without affecting affiliate's link codes. Just remove the join option and edit the php script, links stay the same. I have noticed a spike in sales after things start working again so I guess some surfers actually do try again later. Oddly more surfers seem to be using the Epoch option more then in the past... not sure what is up with that. Right now it's just damn frustrating. Working enough of the time that we don't want to temporally remove Epoch but... |banghead
i use epoch, this doesnt sound all that sweet

not good. any news?

This is the kind of thing that makes CCBill stand out. If this were about them a CCBill rep would have been here on page 1. Where are you, Epoch?
|
Down again this morning :(

I called them.
They were like oh yeah we're working on the servers... no big deal... should be back up in a hour or so... |banghead| |banghead| |banghead| |banghead| |banghead| |banghead
