Good Morning
Thanksgiving Eve and I have been preparing for cooking since 4:30 this morning. Damn Martha Stewart and her 24 hour Turkey Brine. :)

Anyway, that's just the start. All day preparation's. :)

BlueBrit and I are still in Florida, lapping up the sunshine. 2 days straight of walking around Universal Studios is killing me.. I got sore muscles everywhere, especially my calves. So far the best ride was on "The Mummy' - But then again I have only been on the mild ones - I need courage to hit the big roller coasters.

Still working on my floor, I hope to have it done today, otherwise I am in big trouble with my better half.:D I promised it will be done by tomorrow.

Yesterday I got dressed to go to the gym and then my doorbell rang. Never made it to the gym or got any work done due to drop by friends. Going to try to do today what I had planned on doing yesterday.

Guess I should get out of bed...

Mornin' y'all,

Last day of 80° temps for awhile. We're supposed to have a cold front move in overnight, with forecast highs in the mid-50's into next week. The natives are gonna be bundled up like eskimos. :)

I hate drop by guests. I like having friends/family stop by, but have the courtesy to call and give me at least 30 minutes warning.

I recall one time when the wife's sister and two boys dropped by without warning, and we were in the middle of doin' the nasty on the living room rug. The wife jumps up and runs for the bedroom, well not really a run as she was wearing six inch stiletto heel boots. I toss on a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt, throw the adult accessories into the bedroom, and go answer the front door.

Doesn't really bother me but I do prefer a phone call so that I can be at least somewhat decent when I open the door. I do get a lot of drop by guests.

Hey all, headed out of here in about 5 mins to take the wife and her nephew to the train for a day in NYC..then Ive got the youngin early from school because of Turkey day.

Gonna be wrking on getting my ne wproject up and running today and friday. Hopefully I can get the banner rotator working. Im hoping for the best.

Tonight is prep time, making the desserst I do, Choco Mousse and ths year Im doing a banana/choc pudidng pie in graham cracker crust. And then Im prepping all the onions for my French Onion Soup - FanTC would enjoy it, I use Reg. Onions, Red Onions and Sweet Onions and I kick it up with paprika and cayenne pepper.

The best thing happened to me last night at 11:23 PM . My beautiful wife of 10 years gave birth to our first child. 8 pounds 1 ounce 19 inches. I's a girl.

Morning.. Day 3 of Limping. we are heading to Laughlin today to spend the night with my boytoy.. then back to Vegas tomorrow early for a day of movies. We are shooting for 4 of them but if i make it though 2 I'll be happy. Might try to see Hitman today instead of tomorrow.

did i mention that yesterday it was 76 and today the high is predicted to be 59?? Huge drop in temp. I am betting the line a few colds will follow.

Preach on brother.... This is the worse time of year, too many days of no mail and closed banks and too many damn people shoving their god$ in my face wherever I go.|angry|

Yes it does, but the first week is the worst, by the second week it just reminds you it's there with a sharp pain when you laugh or cough, after 3 weeks it's pretty much gone.
I seem to crack a rib or ribs every couple of years, it's real bad when the crack is close to your back, then you can barely walk for a week.

Good morning! Busy day ahead. After years of being perfectly happy with Stove Top, stupid me, I had to bring homemade stuffing to Thanksgiving one year. It was great, kicked Stove Top's ass, and ever since then I have been in charge of bringing stuffing. Once I get out of this office, I will be cooking all night. I wonder if it's too late to reintroduce my family to the joys of Stove Top?

Congratulations... not that I would ever want one of those little smelly things in my life.
Add me to the list of people who just wish they holidays to be over. Slow sales, late checks, where the fuck is my last week's CCBill check, and way too many people preaching about god$.
This is probably the forth of fifth time I've cracked a rib. At least this time I think it is only one but it is almost in the middle of my chest right about my left breast. I was putting together a hammock and had the hammock stand pressing against my chest as I was pulling the hammock over the the stand's hook. I heard this snapping sound followed by an awful pain. At first I thought I had popped an implant and went running into the house to look in the mirror. I was actually relieved that is was just a cracked rib and not a broken implant.

I was wondering why this thread had so many posts today.

Wow thanks for the great responses. My wife is doing well considering that she had to have a C-section . The baby was too big to go through the normal route. So I will be out of commission for a few days. See you guys sooner then later.
