I feel like the guy in the new McDonald's commercial that says, "Happiness is waking up thinking it's Thursday when it's Friday". Then the guy next to him says, "It's Wednesday". I thought it was Friday until my wife told me it was Wednesday. :)

I have got to get Christmas shopping done. It's coming on like a freight train.

Went to bed at 10:30 and woke up hot at 1:48. Turned the AC on cooler and been rocking since.

I think I pissed Carol off last night. She was whining bout gettng old because her birthday is today and I told her "Baby, your tits look ancient. Turn the light off and go to sleep." I bet that's gonna cost me for Xmas.

Ah well, fuck it, off to the beach shortly for breakfast and buzz with the birds.

Hey Jim, good news is you just found two extra days for your shopping!

It's going to be another day up in the 80s here. Slept with the a/c on and it's running this morning. I'm really looking forward to being able to open all the windows again someday soon. Maybe next week they say.

I had to go feed my sisters Shetland ponys again. While I was there I received a phone call from a friend who asked me if I could go catch the dogs of another friend that's on vacation in the Dominican Republic. Apparently the first friend had to take care of the dogs but he was at work now and the dogs had broken out. When I got there someone else already caught all 4 of them. Also one of the neighbors had called the police so there were a lot of people there :)

Anyways, back to the boring stuff now.

A/C is on here too and last night we played racquetball indoors because it was just too damn hot to play outdoors.

Holy raising the fucking taxes batman. Our city announced tax raises for next year. Property taxes by more than 6%, bus fares and one that doesn't really effect me but I think is INSANE is they are changing the parking meters from 6pm to 9pm and raising the price by $1 an hour AND making it so you have to pay on Sunday's now too when Sunday use to be a free day. OUCH. Fucking Politicians! I bet they voted an increase in their pay too, assholes!

Warm weather is leaving the Houston area. Was 74 a few hours ago and 64 now. I hate winter.

Took me close to 4 hours but I reviewed every thing I have online this morning.
yesterday was a bad ebay day for me, got a used puter with no operating system, found an email saying the second moniter that I was expecting today isn't coming because the guy got into a car wreck and it was damaged (translation: he decided I got it too cheap) and a domain name I wanted sold for a gazzilion dollars.
Christmas sucks, have to go to a party tonight with a bunch of people I don't know or want to know and go look at lights tomorrow

it rained like crazy all day yesterday, so we're stuck with about 3 inches of icy slush on the sidewalks, but at least it looks like we'll have a white Christmas this year, w00t w00t |bananna| (it's the word of the year, doncha know!)

I have another day of stapling radiant heat tubing under my brother-in-law's floor. Or is that brother's-in-law floor? I know the plural form is brothers-in-law, but what about the possessive of the singular? Let's stick with my first try. |crazy| Anyway, my point being, I'll be missing for few hours once he calls and reminds me when he'll be there. That means another day of zero productivity, which really sucks since I was finally sinking my teeth back into the business. Or, as an illiterate pimp would say it, biznes. (Good thing I have spell chick activated or I would have misspelled illiterate, and you know how embarrassing that can be.)

Well last night my husband and I took a big plunge. After spending so much money on everyone else for Christmas and none of ourselves we went shopping.

Our Christmas present for each other is a 58" Panasonic Plasma TV. I'm so excited we will pick it up tonight. I have a great spot on the wall all picked out where I want it mounted. I'm like a kid in a candy store today..|bananna| |bananna|

I feel so productive from yesterday.. that I might have 2 days in a row of productivity.
Considering that it is 34 degrees outside, we have children shooting other children at public bus stops and I should have been on a 22 hour flight today, I think I'm doing good.

I'm going to try to pry tartlette out of her adult dry spell and kick our hubs back in gear.

...maybe not...

Good morning everyone! I started my day off extra early. I was lying in bed, wondering if it was around 4, thinking that the sun was starting to come up and that's why my room was so bright. Then I got up and got online, and it turned out it was 1 a.m. I had only been in bed for two hours. My room was lit up by lights in the parking lot outside. Boy did I feel stupid.

Well, I did all my errand running today as we are supposed to be ht with two storms back-to-back. So maybe I'll get some work done this next few days. About to finish up my Christmas shopping online for DVD's and games ahh technology is grand!

Afternoon everyone. Server stuff back to normal. Got some serious coding in. Moved some stuff last night and have movers coming to pick up the big stuff here in an hour. However, I called yesterday to get cable hooked up and they said my new place doesn't exist on their map. So now it looks like I'll be actually driving to work in the morning to my old place and using the internet there. |jester|

Feels good to be back on track. Even knocked out a couple things this morning that I really had been putting off that I shouldn't have. Glorious hump day I'm having here. :)

Very late afternoon all -
Woke up this morning to a call from the grocery store to fill in for someone who was sick. So I haven't gotten a damn thing done yet online.
I don't mind though, this puny little grocery store is pretty cool. If they don't have something, and you'll buy a case of it, they'll order it for you. It's a Super Valu chain, so Albertson's etc... Plus, being in farm/ranch country Angus beef is sliced up every day. Half a buffalo anyone? (not exactly sure how big a freezer or three you'd need for that).

I'm brain dead right now, so I think I just may call it a night and watch some BB games.
