Good Nasty Sunday Morning

Morning
Well, we went from a lot of snow to sleet now. And, the wind seems to be kicking up a bit. I think it may be time to pull the AC out of the window. The sleet is coming in :)

FanTC 2007-12-16 07:09 AM

Good Morning

Chilly down in Dixie today. Went from 75 yesterday to 41 currently. I don't like it! Tuesday will bring back the 60s and 70s though, whew.

Up early getting stoned and ready to go to the game in New Orleans. The dome should be rocking today, as this is a needed win to maintain a chance at the last wildcard spot.

Geaux Saints!

Have a FanfuckingTastiC day!

T Pat 2007-12-16 07:12 AM

Mornin All
Glade I don't have to deal tons of sleet and snow, fell asleep soaking in the bathtub last night woke up when the water got cold, that was bad enough.
Another day of chipping away on the todo list planned.
Coffee's on

Good Morning Everyone |waves|

Fonz 2007-12-16 07:28 AM

Morning all,

Besides from going to see a soccer game in an hour I don't have that much planned today. Oh yeah, I'll be working as a demolition man for the rest of next week, should be fun :)

Have a good one!

Jim 2007-12-16 07:29 AM

Crap, I forgot about the games today. There should be a snowy game or two today :)

Cleo 2007-12-16 09:08 AM

A/C is on, no snow or sleet here. (I had to look up sleet to see what it is)

We were suppose to go to a boat parade party last night but instead played racquetball late into the night at the park. We also played in the morning at the gym. I'm stating to think I've developed a racquetball addiction.

Didn't get any work done yesterday due to excessive racquetball playing so probably going to spend a good part of today playing catchup and then the season finally of Dexter is tonight.

Good morning world |waves|

Just rain here. Probably low 80s today but dropping to 58 overnight and a couple of cooler days ahead. Well, 60s and 70s anyway.

Some work, some online shopping, maybe a nap.
Sounds like a plan to me.

Wishing a good Sunday to all, and be careful out there if you have to shovel snow.

:)

Good Sunday Peoples |waves|

"nasty" is not the word I'd use to describe the weather here in lovely Western New York. The word that came to mind when I opened the door to go shovel was "crunchy" We got 2 or 4 inches of snow last night, followed by a little rain which coated the snow with a nice sheet of ice. It's currently hailing & when that hail hits the ice covered snow, it makes a "crunch" sound. Crunch Snow |thumb

Bills play in Cleveland at 1 - looks like they have lovely weather there as well :D

stuveltje 2007-12-16 09:34 AM

Morning all:) we have minus -C temp here in holland in daytime, but now snow, i am still some where struggling around!
I wish you all a great day and eve, btw what is "sleet"?|huh

terry 2007-12-16 09:39 AM

Good Morning And Happy Sunday Everyone!

The snow started falling around 3am. Its really falling now and luckily no mention of rain or sleet in the forecast.. just snow snow snow. Different reports out there but I think its safe to say we shouldnt get more than 35 cms. However there is a high wind warning in effect for today.

Stay warm and play safe.

dareutwo 2007-12-16 09:41 AM

Morning all -
For some reason I was awake half the night. I have no idea why I'm even up right now.
Going to see how long I can stay awake on a pot of coffee then a long nap.
Temps above freezing, no new snow, but it's gorgeous outside with everything covered in frost.

Have a good one!

Toby 2007-12-16 09:41 AM

Mornin' y'all,

'Tis a bit nippy here in south Texas this AM. Good thing I brought in the brass monkey last night. ;)

Not much on the agenda today.

Tekster 2007-12-16 10:14 AM

Good Morning All,

I finally feel a bit better, I sure hope this nasty flu is over, but i think I am going to stay in and watch football all day.

Enjoy tour day all!

i hope everyone else has a good day though

Emerald 2007-12-16 10:34 AM

Snowing here as well... heaps of it and there is no sign of it letting up. No point in shovelling it until it stops - tho we have company so I guess BlueBrit will have to go out and tackle it at some point :D

Its a housebound day!

Some others call it freezing rain. It covers the trees, roads, cars, etc. with wet ice.|loony|

JustRobert 2007-12-16 11:04 AM

Good Morning :)
Wife and I went to Disneyland last night to see the holiday festivities. First time this season I felt in the spirit. Always good seeing kids eyes filled with excitement as they yell at characters and Santa in a parade plus ohh and ahh over the fireworks. Pepermint stick ice cream and sexy milfs all around put a smile on my face too :D

Cleo, with all that racquetball you are doing lately you must be a lean and sexy photographing machine ;) I think you excercised more this week then I have all year which would probably explain the Pillsbury Doughboy belly I have right now.

Ramster 2007-12-16 11:11 AM

Good Morning.

Working on my Proline tickets. Lots of snow here and at a few of the NFL games too. Should be interesting.

All is calm here now, but it sounds like it's supposed to get windy and start snowing again. Well, I think that's what they're saying. The weather people don't seem to have a clue either, so that's nice. I spent much of the morning out in the cold and sleet with my fellow oil-dependent snow blowing pioneers, battling nature's wrath off of our driveways and sidewalks. I felt so manly I had to go out and buy eggs, bacon, sausage and orange juice so I could make myself a big fatty breakfast, just like the ones my father used to make for my brother and me after forcing us to shovel our 300 ft driveway after a blizzard. Ah, those were the days.

I didn't look at wikipedia but it happens when there is warm air sandwiched between 2 layers of cold air. It starts as snow, turns to rain and then is partially frozen by the second layer of cold.

Morning..

I just realized that CES is only 3 weeks away. To hell with that 25th of Dec birthday celebration.. Bring on the electronics!! :D Considering i'm so inept at anything technical I have no idea why it makes my non-existent panties wet. OH wait.. that means only a few days until the GG&J crowd descends on Vegas. |bananna|

Toby and Simon: Love the hats!!!

Nothing much today.. breakfast with my pal Sophie, then off to the Artist Loft to pick up some more Zuni pieces. Gawd i hate traffic, fake ass holiday shoppers and places that raise the prices then say 50% off sale so you think you are getting a bargain.

I'm in such a grinchy mood.

Be Safe..stay warm (or cool) and have a happy Money filled $unday. |thumb

coffee then a few submits then off to the office...

SheepGuy 2007-12-16 05:18 PM

Just smow here, and lots more coming, Took ten minutes to do the five minute walk to the pub, ten minutes to have a drink, 10 minutes to walk back home before it really started coming down ;)
Wasn't really worth it, but I have to get out at least once a day or I go stir crazy.

Jessica 2007-12-16 07:22 PM

Good Evening everyone, nasty nasty weather out there and doesn't look like it's letting up anytime soon :(

Jessica 2007-12-16 07:28 PM
