Good Morning
Had kind of a hard time sleeping last night. I really think I need to get myself a new bed or at least a new mattress. I see a long nap in my near future. :)

I hear ya Jim, I've been having problems too sleeping for more than a just a few hours at a time. Long afternoon naps have become the norm.

Just a day of work and errands planned but if it doesn't rain I'll probably relax at the beach for a bit and take a dip in the ocean.

I'm getting ready for my little trip to Budapest tomorrow morning. I'll stay there Monday. I've never been to the East before, until today all my travels went to the West. This will be a whole new thing for me :)

Got to bring some online stuff in order before I leave.

No, Toby - this could be a good thing. Maybe the Belgiums will make it worth drinking. |boobies| They can go ahead and have Coors, Michelob, and all those other nickel American beers that give me headaches while they're at it. But stay the hell away from Sam Adams! Life is too short to drink cheap ale.

From now on all beers will cost you $1.5 at the bar, like they do here :)

Ditto here on the sleep thing. For months now I'll go to bed around 10 or 11, wake up at 1 or 2 in the morning, work a few hours, then back to bed for sleep. Repeat all day and night. Maybe if I got laid more often I would be tired and sleep better |goodidea

we had a terrible day here yesterday, 24 hour storms, howling winds and lost power so I had no connection at all. Still raining but no wind atm... we have lots of damage, the trees hit houses, people, cars, the streets were flooded and it is going this way for quite a long now.

had a great day with the Buffalo Bingo Babes (and YES I do know that Emerald is from Canada but she flew HERE from Buffalo) .. as usual THEY won -- I didn't. but it's OK.. cuz i hit on the .01 machines on my way out the door -- making me ahead by a few $$ for the day.

today I have about 15 stops to make and I see my tire is almost flat..yes the one I had repaired only a week ago. Looks like a trip to Discount will be the 1st stop on my agenda for a pair of new ones.

We are back to triple digits again now that the |greenguy|'s party is leaving today. Thunderstorms rolling in this afternoon.. So I need to move my PHAT ass so that I can at least get 1/2 my list of errands run before the storms set in.

I am realy having a hard time to get early out of bed now every morning and again i overslept this morning, so my son was late at school for the third time in 2 weeks|shocking|
Its 4:33 midday here and i am stuck with my daughther and some of her friends here, they like to play on that damn WII thing already all day.
On this moment i am getting ready to prepare diner and then i am gonna redecorate my bedroom....it need some new colors again:D

I discovered that we have a guest living in a big pine tree in our backyard. He spends his day lounging on a series of different branches and could seemingly care less about me working in the yard. Being that we live in a little city-type-thing, it's sort of a treat to have wildlife other than squirrels hanging out, tormenting the cat.

Morning. Time to begin coding some more stuff and doing loads more data entry today. The fun doesn't stop.

If you upgrade to wordpress 2.6 today, be forewarned that the xmlrpc interface is disabled by default now. If you use any remote publishing tools you have to re-enable it. Also, if you use IE7, a few tickets came in regarding that -- appears to be a wordpress issue -- 2.6.1 should resolve that. Clear cookies to remove the authentication problem after upgrade.

If you are going to upgrade wordpress, do 1 of your less active blogs first and perhaps wait a day or two to let the others shake out the bugs first. Had one client upgrade their flagship blog which broke badly with their tags & category links.

We're home - Emmy & BlueBrit are on the way back home now as they decided they needed to travel another 3 hours after a 4 hour flight :)

I totaled up our money last night when we were packing & this is the 1st time since our initial visit to Vegas in 1999 that we came up with MORE money than we left with. We've broke even 2 or 3 times (up/down a bit) but it's fucking nice to have some money left over that I won't be putting away for the next trip :)

Big pile of mail here - some are even checks :D Other than that, there'll probably be an update on LOR tonight after midnight.

Finally reached home after being away for 2 weeks.

Had a great time in Vegas - meeting up with old friends and made new ones this trip!

Thanks to everyone BlueBrit and I met - you made our trip to Vegas the highlight of the year (I suspect Aug 8th & 16th will surpass this)

Greenie and the Bitch always make my trips worthwhile... I didnt win any money in the casino- just donated, but i was happy for them that they won big :) only place i got lucky was at bingo (and my hotel room):D

Seeing as this is the "nap thread" I thought I'd add some uslesss info & state that I woke up at 11:00 PM from today's nap - fucking Vegas time |angry|
