It stopped raining and the sun has broken through the clouds. Weather forecast tells me it should stay that way for at least a few days.
Going to submit a freesite, watch a Tour de France stage in the Alpes and after that it's a little unclear of what's next. We'll see.

I can see a nap in my future - woke up just before 6 for no reason & I've been yawning ever since.

I did start to diet & exercise again yesterday - I ate pretty good & had nothing after dinner, so I spent 5 hours on the couch complaining to The Bitch about how hungry I was :D I also rode the exercise bike for a whopping 12 minutes! |shocking| I'm fat.

Other than that, we got caught up on our TV watching last night - Weeds, Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, & Big Brother.

I also caught a little bit of that Denise Richards reality show - this twit goes on vacation & complains that the paparazzi are following her to the beach. She wanted a little privacy while on vacation & she said she was a bit over-weight & didn't want to have pics of her in her bathing suit in the magazines. This would all be normal if the FUCKING MORON WAS NOT TALKING TO THE CAMERA CREW SHE TOOK ON HER VACATION WHILE WEARING HER FAT BATHING SUIT |catfight|

I'm gonna be lazy today and do nothing. Tomorrow my son and I will be crabbing at the pier and hopefully we'll get enough for several meals of crab cakes and shrimp & crab au gratin. I think I'll have a bloody mary....|cheers|

Not a good day here at my house. My husband is now out of work thanks to some nasty backstabbing. |angry||banghead| I feel really bad for him he is taking very hard.

If it was just me and him we wouldn't be so worried but we have these two really adorable grandkids and lovely daughter that depends on us. It makes it quite more stressful.

Oh well life sucks :D

Good morning. Up and at it early as the lady had to have me move my car so she could get to hers and go pick up someone from carlsbad and then drive them back down here to the airport. She is way to nice. It's a nice hour long round trip. So I got up and have been getting started. Lot of boring work to do that just needs to be done. I'll just be pretty much making some lists and doing data entry for a good part of the day.

Now I'm off to make some coffee as I finally managed to go get some new coffee beans.

Good eve all:) its 6:31 eve here and now cloudy, butttttttttt we had sun the whole day and like Fonz say, it should be hot and sunny for the rest of the days.
I am still doing laundry...well i am doing the laundry since early morning today but it all dries very fast now outside, on this moment i have also visitors in my house, some friends dropped by....and they know i hate unexpected visitors...because it will fuck up the schedule i have made for the day. So waiting till they will leave (which will be probrably after midnight), then its laundry again and doing the things i was planning to do, also not to mention some other girlfriend message me she will drop by tomorrow at 10 morning with her kids.........10 morning...i have a fucking holiday|catfight||cry||shocking| so i have to change my schedule for tomorrow also...just one good thing is we will get hot weather!!|bananna||bananna||boobies|

ok, these kids are driving me CRAZY!!|crazy| well, more crazy, anyway lol. I have to keep them busy during the day and work at night, which actually works out well because I get my best work done at 3am, just have to have a nap after dinner and I'm ready to go!

Sue, sorry to hear about that :( I do agree with Sheepy, though - seems like every time our lives here get just about to rock bottom, something comes through. You've got great karma so here's hoping things improve for you guys :)

Probably due to your anti-WP post the other day, I searched around for other blog programs. I found a really small one which is ideal for me since I don't need/want all those widgety plug-a-ma-doodles. It had a simple tagging system built-in and an RSS feed, but no other real blogging tools. It didn't have a text editor, just a plain old textarea for posts, so I slapped on a readily available editor/image uploader (fckeditor) which has made posting very easy. I also hacked the script and added a .htaccess file to create SEF URLs.

The template is comprised of a single HTML page and one CSS file, so it's a breeze to modify. The admin is so simple and straight-forward, it's a breath of fresh air. It's not cluttered or confusing at all. Sure, you can't do most of the things that WP can do, but you can edit post dates, create drafts and delete comments (they are off by default when you create a new post anyway). I think there are only 6 or 7 tables in the database. This thing is skinny, though you'd never know from the front end - which loads so quickly and smoothly since it has to perform around 18,000,000,000 fewer queries than WP. Of course, being the ass that I am, I decided to take advantage of that by over-loading it with images. :)

I like this thing so much that I may actually make another attempt at blogging.

I started a wordpress blog specifically to see how it worked and test it on a new hosting platform and I must say, I am amazed at a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that wordpress does. Wordpress SEO is pretty good, but, I can't get around the performance factor behind it. Not that my personal life is going to generate massive traffic, but, it sure prevents me from using it for other projects that do require the ability to handle traffic.

I'm still not decided against writing my own platform after I get my next project done.

Bob's cell phone rang off the hook all day. So far he has two great job interviews for tomorrow :D Bob is the last person you want to see get screwed the way he did. And by all the calls he got today I'm not the only one that feels that way. I'm drinking a cold beer to relax he's drinking much harder stuff..:D But we are more encouraged than yesterday!
