My partner has been trying to learn how to cook and last night she undercooked the rice and put way too much seasoning in it. We ate it anyway and paid the price with upset stomachs all night. I still feel like I have a load of rocks in my stomach. Guess I'll be cooking tonight's meal if we don't eat out.

Well, for some weird reason, my Dreamweaver 8 started to lock up every 5 min yesterday, so I decided to reinstall it. I should have never done that since it gave me all kind of errors and now it just won't work anymore. |catfight| No idea what happened, but I guess there is some compatibility issues with Leopard and Dreamweaver 8. I might just have to go and buy the new version or even the CS3.3.3 |banghead|

Otherwise everything is just peachy around here.

wow, August already! I remember when I was a kid the summer seemed to last forever...sigh :(

Well I've got lots to do today before my son's friend gets here for a sleepover - there's nothing like a couple of super hyper 11 year olds to kill a Friday night :D

Good FIrst day of August..man where has the year gone. The weather cant decide if its gonna rain or be sunny..as every 3 minutes its changing since I woke up. The wife started to move out yesterday so it was a long last day of July. But back to it today. TGIF all!

I stayed up too damn late trying to re-work one of the many nearly unused features of my site. Re-working it won't make it better or more exciting or bring in more traffic, but that's what I do. I'm satisfied with mediocrity, but I want my mediocrity be ever-evolving.

Other than banging my head against the desk for the rest of the day, I've got nothing.

Morning All. I'm hoping that my dreams come true today. :D I called at&t like I do every few months on Wed, and begged for them to turn up my speed on my crappy slow 786 kb/s dsl. I'm a bit over 3 miles from the central office, but the tech said my lines were good when he installed it, and I could get faster speed.

Wellll instead of the same ole runaround, they said that I qualified for the elite plan at 6 MEGS/s plan! |bananna| I guess they finally built a node in Pahrump, and from what the tech was saying, it must be practically in my backyard to get this kind of speed.

I'll believe it when I see it, but if this is flipped on today like they promised, it will be the fastest speed I've ever had, and will be the first time in 4 YEARS I'll have something faster than about 1 MEG/s consistently.

So other than waiting for some big announcement I've heard rumors of, I'm waiting for this fast speed I've been promised. Sounds like good day all around.

I still think that part about wanting an email was a test.

finishing up some code today, worked quite a bit on it over the last week with another project as well and, things are taking shape. Read the changelist for php 5.3 and, it appears they are breaking a few functions -- one of which might break quite a bit of code, and removing backwards compatibility with a few functions that might affect some older code developed with php4. Moving target development -- that's what we need more of. :)

Forcast, scattered php throughout the day with increasing chances of python later this evening.

Good morning everyone. Stayed up way to late working on what I only realize now to be a waste of time. Before the lame programming I did however, I watch the latest Rambo movie and it was awesome. I was watching it by myself as the lady wanted no part in it. She was "fine reading." I actually was clapping and laughing during some of the action scenes. |jester| Today going to work on doing a little design work on some templates for an old domain I'm redoing and then more data entry.

Later today I'm going to the pony races for 4 o'clock friday. Later after the races this local band pinback is playing there that I dig.

Morning - more of the same shit today - HOT and dry here so I think I'll stay in the basement.

Same my hubby did yesterday, he putted up his cooking hat and started at 4 midday and finallyyyyyyyyyyyy at 8.30 eve we had ....his own made pizza, well he made italien bread also but that one wasnt good, i told the kids not to eat it, but they said " it taste nice" |pokefun|evening kids had belly pain:D, i told them not to eat the bread:D(i know evil but it looks so funny when i write it:D)

One advice never take you fam (specially not with a almost 14 year old daughther) to the big town to shop....it will cost you tons and your feet (i am still in pain, i dont wanna use my feet this eve anymore|cry|)
Yesterday was a great sunny day, very hot weather and i woke up at 6.30 in morning, now to get the rest of the fam out of their bed easy, i sneaked into their rooms and sett their clocks 2 hours ahead, so on their clock i yelled them out of bed at 10 while it was in real 8 mornings|satan|...it took them 25 minutes to find out it was early......result i had to hide, alot of %%#$%^ and i got even shoes thrown at my head:D still we had a great day!|bananna|
Today it was shopping day, result pain in my feet or foot , hell those things i walk on:D
Doing my reviewing job and then i think i go to bed....(stu<---writing down she is never gonna take her fam to the big town anymore for shopping)

Trying to be productive

Afternoon,

Been without phone, cable and internet today it just all came back on..|huh

My husband has had some good interviews for jobs, the only problem is there are so many people applying with him. Not only that so many places are closing up around here. In our area we have lost: Red Lobster, Longhorn, Lonestar, Beniguns (sp). So there are a bunch of restaurant workers out of work along with him. Yikes!!

had to fight some tgp and trade scripts acting up for the second day but at least it was sorted off. It was a hack... I am tired enough not to be up too late, we will see. Hot here too but te fans are on.
