Happy Rosh Hashanah Tuesday

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday Everyone.

Looks like its going to be a cool, rainy day today... guess I wont get the grass cut again.

Have a great day!

ladydesigner 2008-09-30 07:13 AM

Morning everyone. |coffee Looks like it's cooling down a bit here today. Can't wait for fall.

Greenguy 2008-09-30 07:20 AM

Happy Last Day Of The Month |waves|

I can't wait for the mail to come so that, if I'm lucky, I can get a check for $52.35 & add it to my books so that I can finally finish off the worst month my business has ever had! The only good news is that the record will only last for 31 days |banghead|

I spent most of yesterday sleeping & I feel like today will be more of the same. You'd think the above would motivate me to work, but oddly enough, all I want to do is lay on the couch with my dog watching the new HD channels Time Warner decided to finally give me - like History HD, which I watched yesterday & now know how the earth was formed 4.5 billion years ago....but they never did explain where the big ball of molten lava came from |huh
Oh wait! I know...|buddy| put it there :)

Cleo 2008-09-30 07:26 AM

Another wet one here.

Watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night. The story is getting really intriguing.

I said I wasn't going to go digging in the dirt yesterday but ended up back in the dirt in a light rain and trimmed the bushes on the east side of the house. I may be in need of gardening help.

Just another day of more of the same planned for today.

JackDaniel's 2008-09-30 07:38 AM

Good Morning Everyone |waves|

T Pat 2008-09-30 07:44 AM

Mornin All
I did better this month than the last two months, barely
Sarah Palin is camped out about 15 mins from me, think I'll cruise over this afternoon to see if anyone is protesting.
Coffee's On

Jim 2008-09-30 07:45 AM

Good Morning
What fun, watching the world economy take a shit yesterday. I am supposed to go out to lunch today but I believe I am going to have to cancel because of this crap.

Some serious work to be done for the next several days.

Ramster 2008-09-30 07:59 AM

Good Morning. Coffee please...

ponygirl 2008-09-30 08:46 AM

Good Morning All :)

stuveltje 2008-09-30 09:12 AM

Good morning all:) I am in a very good mood....i played a dirty trick on my hubby, while he was upstairs in his working room...i painted the stairs.
so |pokefun| hubby couldnt come downstairs and had to stay on the second floor for at least 4 hours|headbang|.
When he found out, he was cursing me to some evil place |angry||club||catfight|, but it made my day, i am ready to do some reviews and then back to the painting and sanding job again!
I wish you all a great day and eve!|waves|
Oh and i forgot to ask, who or what is Rosh Hashanah?|huh

Tekster 2008-09-30 10:09 AM

Good Morning, no plans except for some work today.

digifan 2008-09-30 10:12 AM

Good day!

Oh my, Stu you are evil! I am afraid of you ;) What a chick :-D

EDIT

wickipedia was down so checked elsewhere:

Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year." Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year. This name is somewhat deceptive, because there is little similarity between Rosh Hashanah, one of the holiest days of the year, and the American midnight drinking bash and daytime football game.

So it must be something evil, regarding the drinking bash and daytime football game. |loony|

RedCherry 2008-09-30 10:14 AM

Morning all. I'm glad this month wasn't my worst month, I thought it would be there for awhile, since I had some $5 days after the market crashed. But looks like I'm going to finish out only a few dollars/day less than last month. |thumb

I can't believe I was watching TV working yesterday morning, everything was good, then went to the appt. with my accountant to help her with her website, got home, and the bailout didn't pass and the dow was down 777 points. WTF? Amazing how it can all change in a few hours.

Curious to see what will go on today. I just don't want the credit market to contract so much that our surfers can't keep whipping out those cards to buy porn.

Today I have some shoe painting planned, porn, and CNN watching. Have a good one all.

The Jewish New Year.

Plenty of work on tap today. Odd happenings in the US financial world.

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.

Good Morn To Everyone!

Happy Rosh Hashanah to my Jewish, partially Jewish, and almost Jewish webmaster friends - enjoy your repentance. |thumb
(Of course, I have the feeling that the 3 or 4 Jewish/semi-Jewish people I know from this board don't spend much time repenting.)

DOW continues to rise even though that thing we used to call 'credit' is having its obituary written as we speak. A very slow collision of very large things.

Stay liquid.

JustRobert 2008-09-30 11:07 AM

Good Morning :)
Lots of work on the agenda.

Simon 2008-09-30 11:07 AM

Good morning world |waves|

Work and more work today, but then if the website and the email they sent me weren't evil little lies I'll be getting Iron Man from Netflix today.

Cleo, I like the Connor Chronicles too ...but I've been strangely attracted to that Texas girl, Summer Glau, who plays Cameron, since back when she was the strange sister on Firefly and Serenity.

Stu, too funny about painting the steps. :D

Pat, I thought you were going to say "if anyone is protecting her" for some reason.

Watched "The Big Bang Theory" last night and noticed the vanity card flashed on the screen had been censored and that it had actually been a message about censorship that the CBS censors had censored. So I looked up the original card and got a laugh out of it.

Censored message | Original message

Enjoy your day, unless of course you have access to a tv, radio or the internet.

:)

sue-fl 2008-09-30 11:10 AM

Morning!

Stu you cracked me up!

Nothing funny about this last month though and I'm sure glad it's (almost) over. Nothing but good vibes and lot's of money for next month to all |thumb

Have a nice day!

I actually started watching because of Summer Glau. She is classically trained as a ballerina which would explain how she moves in all her fight scenes.

I really expected this show to be POS but I've been pleasantly surprised by the writing. |thumb

Morning. Little work stuff handled actually yesterday. More just life stuff. Today going to be more of actual work day in front of the computer.

This month unless today kicks off pretty big the month will be alright. Need to launch a couple new projects and get them going so I can bring myself back to what I was doing last year.

Was informed this morning by my lady that Dexter can no longer be watched before bed because it causes her horrible nightmares. We finished season 1 last night. So season 2 will be completely watched during the day.

Now I'm actually curious. Going to add this show to my list to watch later. Thought I was going to just be able to skip this one entirely.

Have a good one.

docholly 2008-09-30 11:32 AM

|yawn| Morning..
Well unless something miraculous happens today..this is the 1st month since I started in porn in 1998 that I haven't received at least a check from the camhoes OR from ccbill..which has minimums so low it's |jester|
and while I know my activity has been minimal of late, I still got enough checks in the month to finance the movies, etc.

Today is p/u laundry, school, palms for football etc.. have a good one and try to stay solvent. |thumb

LeRoy 2008-09-30 11:43 AM

Good morning all. The last day of the month. Yah glad to get this one done too. Most of Sept I spent fixing things. This month will be good.

Have a good day everyone :)

Rent season one on iTunes or something to get caught up. Season one was very short BTW. The series takes off right where T2 movie left off and then the time line is changed because all of them go five years into the future.

Preacher 2008-09-30 12:30 PM

It amazes me how little the Steelers care about the health of their fans. I swear that when they find my dead body I will be wearing a Steelers jersey with a remote in my hands and a horrified expression on my face.

Got woken up last night with diarhea, that's always fun. As if the acid reflux attacks from over-eating wasn't enough.

To top it all off, the kids have a half day today. |waves|

I may also be receiving Iron Man in the mail today.

I decided that I was just going to buy it, so Amazon is sending it out sometime next month (I'm a big fan of the 5-9 day free shipping)

Do you find that you watch movies more then once? I find that we very rarely watch a DVD more then once and most of them we know for sure we will never watch again.

I buy all my movies and not rent them, and some of them I've watched a bunch of times, lol. My main thing is though, I love all the bonus stuff...sometimes more than the movies because I like to see how they are made. You can't get the extra bonus CD's with NetFlix can you? If you could, there are some I'd rent over buying.

Twiceshy 2008-09-30 01:52 PM

Good Day everyone Lots of work to be done today house work also being part of that Blahh i need more coffee.

Fonz 2008-09-30 01:53 PM

Good afternoon folks.

I also watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles Yesterday. But we're only on Season 1 episode 5 or something.
And I agree, the girl playing Cameron is kinda hot :)

What a shitty day today, I spent almost 4 hours in traffic jams across out little country and to make matters worse it rained all day. I hope tomorrow's better.

Have a good rest of the day!

Netflix sends you the same DVD that you would buy but only the DVD containing the movie so if the DVD came with additional DVD then you would not receive this DVD.

Happy Mid Afternoon On the first day of the Jewish New year and the last day of the month of September...now that that's out of the way.. WASSSSUPPPPPP????!!!!

Hoping the rain will hold off for the next two days so I can slowly start to close the pool. I need to vacuum it real well, and need to have my |pokefun| step son get in the ice cold waters to help remove the steps. Shrinkage on an 18 year old will keep him humbled.

Getting reviews done, submits done and see if I can't order Iron Man off Amazon, Best Buy or Barnes and Nobles (as I seem to have a gift card for each) |crazy|

Have a great rest of the month. |bananna|

The ones I buy I watch more than once. Picky about which ones.

Some I've watched a lot. Caddy Shack, Rounders, Heat are a couple movies I've watched a TON! Sin City is making it's way up the multiple viewing charts as well.

Epics i've watched a bunch... Star wars 4-6. With empire strikes back being the one I re watch the most. Then lord of the rings gets some replays as well.

I have about 300 DVD's upstairs gathering dust. I found a place that would buy them, but the day after I went thru & sorted what I wanted to keep, they closed up shop |pokefun||greenguy|

Ever since Netflix, I've only bought a couple of DVD's because I know I'll watch them again:
Simpson's Movie
Grind House
No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Into The Wild
Iron Man
There might be a few more in the last year, but that seems about right - and I have watched each at least 2 times :)
