I'm submitting my first freesite in the LOR trusted submitter format today, kind of weird after building regular freesites for over 5 years.

Other than that it's just the regular stuff.

Woke up with my partner and then fell back asleep after she left. I guess I'm kind of awake now.

Just a day of work and errands planned for today and maybe going to dinner tonight for my birthday.

Still having a heat wave in SoCal. Lots of work on the agenda and thats it.

Morning all. I think there was frost in our bedroom last night. MadHatter turned on the evaporative cooler, and the water, and it was only 40 outside this morning. I think it was about 30 in the room. |snowman2

Managed to make it through the night wired to the sleep apnea test crap, nothing like having your hand tethered on a one foot cord to a padded box you have to pick up and move every time you roll over. |banghead| So I got a worst night sleep then normal. So hoping I can stay productive and work today despite that.

After getting everything ready for my new category last night, I decided to watch Jamie Kennedy's documentary Heckler - very good.

I then dragged myself out of bed a little after 9 & even though I've done nothing but work, it still took me 2 hours to get to the board, which is #2 on the daily list.

It's Yell's oldests birthday today - she turns 18 & she's working at the local grocery store until 4, so I might have to go there, grab some birthday balloons, stand in her line, pay for them & then hand them over yelling HAPPY BIRTHDAY and causing her to be embarrassed of her fat uncle |thumb

Where has October gone?

Working on a project that has taken longer than expected, more physical time than anticipated, but, the end is near.

Just got home from dropping the wife's SUV off to get some brake work done. Turns out it didn't need brakes yet but does need a sway bar on the front end. Cheap outcome, I like it.

Oh take a camera with you and post pics please, that has to be a priceless moment.

Morning everyone. Got up with a crushing headache. Which most likely has to do with the heat here is California, the lack of water I drank yesterday, and the amount of booze I drank last night. Ugh. Took advil then passed out for another hour. Now I'm up and I need to go get some Gatorade and Coffee.

Today I have to run up to orange county to pick up some dvds for some sites. While I'm up there going to get to this sporting goods store my brother gave me a gift certificate to for xmas last year. Blah. At least my car has AC so I'll be nice and cool. :)

No pics/vids, but she was a little embarrassed. I grabbed a Happy Birthday balloon & held it behind my back & then got in her line. When I got up to to the register, her manager was laughing behind me & she asked him what was so funny. I then showed her the balloon & said I need to pay for this. She gave me a hug & clipped it into the back of her pants. |party2

I was going to scream I LOVE YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY as I walked out, but I figured having a balloon attached to her was enough for one day :)

Some uncle you are, I would have bought her a cupcake with a candle... and had a singing telegram, I mean really what are they good for other then embarrassing them in public?

Give her a hug/kiss from us and tell her we will see them soon.

WTG at least you show you care, I remember being that age, you were all embarassed, but deep down it meant alot that they cared enough to do something like that. |thumb

Now that the company is gone for a few days, I'm trying to get back into a routine so that I can just get out of it again next week.

Got the RugDawg's tat done today. He has to go back on Saturday so they can do the 'details' like the cigar and the bottle of beer. I'll post pics later.

Here's hoping that Cleo is out somewhere celebrating |boobies| and that everyone else has had a great day.

My net connection still has to be fixed... new tools on my side and the isp's but I'll get a faster one so it's ok... I got my flu shot too and was sleeping for 24 hr. Sis is always asking me how I do that... no idea but feels so good.
