Good Wednesday Morning :)

Good Morning All :) I got up at 430 am for no reason, I hope you all have a sales filled day :)

ladydesigner 2008-10-29 06:45 AM

Morning everyone! Another chilly start to the day! |waves|

Bobc01 2008-10-29 06:52 AM

Morning all :)

Snowed here last night but the sun is melting it all now :(
Bang goes my plan for a snow man.

terry 2008-10-29 06:55 AM

Good Morning Everyone!

Cold, very windy and more snow expected today.

Have a great day!

Cleo 2008-10-29 07:55 AM

Chilly start of the day here. I may actually have to put the heat on to take the chill away.

Christine is home sick from work. Car is still sick in the shop. My friend moving back here from NY is stuck up north taking care of a sick relative. Even our cats are sneezing. Oddly I feel fine although I do have a bit of the sniffles.

Just a day of work and errands planned for today.

Licker4U 2008-10-29 08:06 AM

It's 34 degrees in the sunny south, WTF? Can't wait for spring...

Jim 2008-10-29 08:13 AM

Morning
I get to drop my car off this morning for body work. It's only supposed to take a few days but it still sucks.

NY Jester 2008-10-29 08:13 AM

Woke up @ 6am to 30' weather..and while walking my dog I see that the wind knocked a pretty big limb off a tree in the side yard that landed on a utility line..so I need to call the town this AM as I dont know if its cable, telephone or power.

Working on my office today as my new PC arrived before it was scheduled to and it doesnt have a happy home as of this AM.

Stay warm everyone.

ponygirl 2008-10-29 08:58 AM

good morning everyone |waves|

holy crow we have about 4 inches of snow and it's still coming! It looks fantastic actually although I'm sure I'll feel different in a month or so lol. I'm just glad I got the kid's winter coats last weekend :)

that's my exciting news for the day, hope you all have a good one!
:)

Ramster 2008-10-29 09:00 AM

Good morning I guess if you call waking up to being snow covered a good morning.

More repetitive work today for me. Coffee is on.

Tekster 2008-10-29 09:00 AM

Good Morning,

Nothing but some errands to run and a bit of shopping.

digifan 2008-10-29 09:35 AM

I was waken up by a little titmouse working hard in my window on some seed, walnut or no idea what. That tiny voice and all that hard work, I thought someone was knocking first, then again, I have fences.. it was funny and a nice way of awakening.

The weather is quite nice yet, sunny and 57 F now so I don't have to heat. But boy, do I need that new adsl modem-router combo, no idea when my isp can can fix it.

Have a great day.

Toby 2008-10-29 09:41 AM

Mornin' y'all,

A bit of a nip in the air here as well, but no one is saying the snow word. :)

Other than the usual slinging of the porn, today's agenda includes baking some bread and making a batch of black bean chili.

|coffee is on, help yourself...

Greenguy 2008-10-29 09:46 AM

Good Wednesday Everyone |waves|

I'm outta here shortly so that I can go finish hooking up my step-daughter's speakers. I also have an appt with my |zzzzzzzzz doctor this afternoon, which has me really excited for some reason |bananna|

OH! Cleo - did you get the 3D movie yesterday? When we were talking about it, it was in my queue & listed as "shipping today" It never clicked in that it should have shipped on Monday since I sent back my last movie on Friday & it was at the top. I'm hoping the delay was because they're sending me some free goggles :D

It is at the bottom of my queue and I'm waiting until my glasses arrive to move it to the top.

Greenguy 2008-10-29 10:11 AM

How many do you have in your queue? I have 3 at home, 54 waiting, 26 saved & 14 instant.

docholly 2008-10-29 10:11 AM

|yawn| Morning..
Another day of running.. the football picks will be posted shortly..
Off to drop the RDawg @ his study group while I waste time in the parking lot for 2 hours.

BTW: i saw "Journey 2 the Center of the Earth" in IMAX.. it was well worth the money and the crappy 3-D glasses.

Mike-mijen 2008-10-29 10:12 AM

Fort Lauderdale right be the beach.

Good morning everyone. It's whip em out Wednesdays.

MadCat 2008-10-29 11:50 AM

Woke up to head to the office for my regular 9-5 job, decided to go fuck it, I work 3 days a week there and I'm relatively free to shuffle my days. So stayed home today, drank too much coffee, and spent too much time fixing some bugs in my (hopefully soon) to be opened free bloghost.

Right now I'm doing nothing, getting ready to hit the sack and get some sleep before having to go play evil angry auditor at a client tomorrow. Gotta love doing ISO 27001 audits :D

Simon 2008-10-29 11:55 AM

Good morning world |waves|

Two at a time plan here too. Incredible Hulk here and Indiana Jones/Crystal Skull arriving today. Just 6 waiting and four of those won't be released until November. Only 14 saved. And zero instant since Netflix doesn't like the Mac yet.

Which is fine since my dvr hard drive was 83% full this morning. I got some catching up to do.

Newsletter day here. Wishing everyone a better what's left of the day than you had in the what's gone.

:)

sue-fl 2008-10-29 12:09 PM

Morning!

Brrrr...was chilly last night, but it's warming up nice now though!

Here we go again tonight...GO RAYS!

Have a nice day all |thumb

bDok 2008-10-29 01:20 PM

Morning. Up and already importing a bunch of stuff for a site. Along with importing did some reviews and now going to prep to get back into submitting some freesites. Been oh so lazy on that front. Also going to load this one new blog of mine up with a bunch of posts. So for the next couple months I won't have to worry about it.

Going to watch a movie later and run to pick up my suit for the wedding this weekend in Chicago. Nordstrom's rox. I bought a suit 3 years ago there and have worn it 3-4 times to other weddings. The pants were getting a small hole in them and I took them in to show them. They gave me a brand new suit. |thumb That's some good service.

Happy hump day.

QUICK! GO DELETE Fools Gold NOW!!!!!!!!!! I can not even begin to describe how horrendous that piece of shit is.

Other than that, you need to do some searching & add some titles - I'd screencap mine, but it'd take 5 pics :D

We both love romantic comedies so we are giving it a chance despite some horrendous reviews but that is what happens when you don't pay per movie.

Here is my past viewed queue with our ratings.

Torn Rose 2008-10-29 05:50 PM

Anyone use the Netflix/Xbox 360 option? If so the pros/cons?

I was looking it over a few days ago and they had 880+ movies/tv shows listed, I am thinking of trying it out once we start spending more time at home during the colder weather.

That was the in flight movie when I went flew to San Francisco in June. I didn't pay for a headset to listen, but even without hearing the dialog I could tell it was pretty lame...

...and I like both Mathew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

If they charge you more for that, don't bother. You can just hook your computer up to the TV & watch the same movies via their website. I say that because I know they are trying to sell some box that will do that for $100.

The quality is good & I've watched a lot of movies on there.

Cleo 2008-10-30 08:39 AM

People with Tivo will soon be able to watch Netflix on their Tivo.
http://www.electronista.com/articles...etflix.movies/

Netflix is finally going to start supporting Macs (intel ones only)
http://www.macworld.com/article/1358...0/netflix.html

Some Blu-ray players will also get the ability to watch Netflix internet streaming.

Fucking TiVo! It's only available on the HD models & they want way too much money for those units, not to mention that you loose some channels & there's no On Demand or PPV |angry|

Cleo 2008-10-30 08:49 AM

I'm screwed with Tivo because I'm using DirecTV and now have DirecTV's POS HD DVR although I do have DirecTV's very crippled SD Tivo in the bedroom. DirecTV and Tivo announced that they have kissed and made up so hopefully next year I'll be able to get a DirecTV brand HD Tivo.

Honestly I have no clue what it reall is that I saw, but I know I did see 800+ movies and TV shows and alot of them dated to the 1930's like the old Superman serials, and "Reefer Madness".

I have no extra box so who knows what I saw, I will go down and look tonight maybe....

We had a really long day....

Oh yeah, they also had "Mandingo" and no I am not joking, no idea if it was censored or not.

What a piece of shit that was. It sucked for a kids movie. Maybe it'd be better in 3D & stoned, but then again, life itself would probably be better with blurry glasses & |potleaf|

Sadly, Fools Gold was worse.
