Another day of too hot and too humid. When the hell is winter going to get here? Going to be hot/humid today and tomorrow but we're hoping a cold front moves down from the mainland by Sunday. Might drop the temps all the way down to 73 F for a few days next week. Whoopee!

Another beautiful day here with high around 82. It is kinda hard to stay indoors and work this time of year, but what can you do....:(

Fucking morning!

Ran a simple update on my main laptop last night that left it unable to boot for some odd reason. So now I'm cloning some system files over from the laptop that I'm posting this from.

Hopefully my laptop will be up and running soon and I can get today's work done.

my wallpaper collection is growing fast plus I bought almost 2 gigs I have to resize and touch up. My blog just broke the 200 mark.

I'm so glad I ran the system update that downloaded automatically this morning and restarted before reading this. Otherwise I'd be putting it off all day wondering if I was going to have that problem too. But no trouble here and I hope you got yours fixed by now.

Welcome back to you both and congratulations on completing the full wedding circuit. I think you two are officially as married as you can get now. :)

I think there's a damn cleaning bug going around. For no good reason I pulled the stove apart last night and cleaned every element, drip pan and surface. Really, I mean no reason at all. I wasn't planning to do it, just found myself pulling the thing apart and spraying 401 and Clorox at it. The stove wasn't even dirty really.

I've got a Dr appointment a bit later and I have to pick my parents up at the airport late tonight. Other than that, I think it is work as usual. |waves|

Turned out to have nothing to do with the update.

A few days ago I used a TechTool CD in my machine to fix another Mac that was in firewire target mode connected to my laptop and it seems that the TechTool CD installed a protection startup item that wasn't compatible with 10.5. This was the first time that I had rebooted my laptop since then so it wasn't until now that this issue showed up.

It wasn't until I had cloned over just about every piece of the OS from another laptop one at a time to see if it would boot each time that I finally started looking in the root library for what was causing the issue and noticed the new startup item in there.

I'm now posting from my main laptop again and all is well.

Spent most of my day with appointments, like dentist and school and now i a making chicken and tomato soup for diner and checking again google for my problem with skype, i still cant use the mike thing and it does work we have checked at a friend house.
So i think i am gonna jump into the chatroom and bugger others with my damn problem:D

My wife received her official marching orders this morning. She's going to head to sunny Florida December 1st for 2 months. So I get stuck with two kids, two dogs, a cat and north east winter weather BY MYSELF.

I hope you fuckers are bracing to hear me bitching and moaning EXPONENTIALLY MORE during that period. |banghead|

That is a very long way to march. Wouldn't a plane or even driving be better?

Morning. Getting things rolling here. tgif. Got some people coming into town from Denver today. They used to live in Ocean Beach so I think I'll be finding myself drunk at some hole in the wall beach bar or at some kegger at some complex party tonight. I can think of worse things.

However, before all the fun I have to clean up for the guests. ugh. On top of that find time to get some work done and run errands.
