The basic philosophy is to jerk the surfers around till they get mad for getting nothing and they grab their CC to signup. Hence the name CJ (Circle Jerk) CJ = Circle Jerk and about 80-100% to trades. Also can be used to pump your tgps/mgps.

you and the above guy obviously missed the "traffic pump" part. Modern CJs are used to send all the bullshit traffic to your low or no skim sites. Think of it as a filter, not just by its title

I don't ever remember this working for anyone anytime anywhere. Anytime you deceive your visitors, they are not going to grab their CC to signup, they are simply going to leave and never ever return. Number one, I read far more than I post, and I rarely post unless I have a point I want to make. The point I was attempting to make to you is that this method has been tried before and *possibly* worked for a few. I HATE sites that do nothing but run me in circles. Why would I ever want to build one, be a part of one, or even encourage one?. What you choose to do with your visitors is your business. There are a good number of newer webmasters here that are quite impressionable, and really don't need to be lead down your path.

You must also note that I called the idea of the circle jerks lame, not you or anyone else. If you don't know enough to feed your visitors what they want, perhaps you might fall into the category of being lame as well. NOTE THE OPERATIVE WORDS HERE. I underlined them and put them in bold just for you.

I meant to stop by this thread earlier to suggest that since most people on this board don't do/haven't done CJ-style sites, it might be a really good idea for you to start a thread where you could pass along what you know about them and how/why they *do* work for certain things in particular ways. I thought that would have helped you get accepted on a board which is clearly focused on, well, whatever the opposite of Circle Jerking the surfer would be called.

I guess I was too late on this one though. I never understand why someone chooses to take a combative stance on a board, especially when being a bit apologetic can advance almost any cause so much more. And it's always a bad sign when the starter of a thread responds in this manner. It's your thread and your choice how you choose to respond to others here.

Too bad. Might have been at least interesting if this had gone another way, but this is just another stupid drama thread now. You know, Simon, I have to agree. I had thought perhaps this poser was intelligent enough to put forth a good argument for his proposal. Outside of his initial post, there has been nothing of any value coming from him, not even a link that others could look at and see if he was just full of putrid hot air, or might actually have had a viable idea worth considering at any level. Any point that one of us has raised has been met with hatred, profanity, and total ignorance.

Now, why would anyone want to waste their time end effort with the likes of Undisputed? I know one thing that cannot be disputed - Circle Jerks mean angry surfers who go elsewhere and do NOT whip out their credit cards.
