Had to drive around this morning to pick some stuff up that we need for tomorrow's job at the University in Ghent. Those female students better watch out for us construction workers :)
Normally I went to see a movie at the theatre with a girl yesterday, but instead she said she'd rather watch a movie at her place, no further comment needed :)

There is a glow coming in around the window blinds and my cats are looking at me with this look of feed me plus I have a laptop on my lap, it must be morning again.

I only have one real goal for today and that is not to find myself on I-95 in the middle of afternoon rush hour traffic again. Since I work from home and have no errands that will take me more then a few miles from my house I'm thinking that I'll accomplish today's goal.

It's a lovely morning of snow and freezing rain and sleet and other likely semi-apocalyptic-ish weather conditions. I couldn't even tell you what sort of precipitation is falling at this moment. Is it rain, freezing rain, sleet, partially frozen translucent fish eggs? I don't know! Anyway, it's a snow day for the kids AND the wife - that pussy - has decided to work from home. That means I'll get yelled at by three different people when I turn the music up louder during my favorite songs. Joy!

Time to make an attempt at blowing snow, ice, and whatever the fuck else is out there in that mush.

well I thought everything would be back to normal this week, but so far I've had a kid home for the past 2 days sick and hubby is still on vacation this week. Will it ever end???? |loony|

It's snowing pretty hard here too after a nice night of freezing rain, so it's pretty much a mess here and I'm not going anywhere. I'm also pretty bummed out about not going to Vegas - partly lack of cash but the big thing is no passport. The damn thing is taking forever because I had to reapply for a birth certificate, as the one I had was issued before new rules saying I have to have another one :(

all in all, I'm ready to have January done with too.

Work today and I play basketball tonight. Big time looking forward to this game since I haven't played all year. I tore my groin in September so I missed Oct, Nov and Dec with the damn injury.

Happy hump day. Don't think I will really be getting much done work wise today. Driving up north in a little bit to help my mom with her new computer she got for xmas. Fun with installing some lame applications and moving files from her old one over to the new one. bah.

I should know by now not to be drinking anything when I read your posts, I spewed energy drink on my keyboard when I got to the fish eggs.

Morning all. I've had 48 hours now without the blue screen of death, so I think the anti-virus conflict was causing it. I can't believe deleting a few folders that looked empty stopped the nag box at 6pm, and stopped the BSOD.

I'm glad it wasn't my ram, as I got it in the mail, tried to put it in and had ordered the wrong type. And New Egg won't take it back. Guess when I can upgrade the board, I can use my speedy DDR2 ram. I had no idea my ram in my box was 3 generations old, go figure. I will say the tech guys at kingston ram are great, he looked up my motherboard, told me all kinds of things about how outdated it was, and then when I told him the one I was looking at, that the ram would work with it no problem.

Now the surfers just gotta sign up, where are all of them? My sales are still slumping, and its driving me crazy. Thank God for rebills.

Its good to be back to work after taking a week off.
We watched Eagle Eye last night...I thought it was a pretty damn good.

I have a busy day of getting projects and submissions back on track...

I'm off shortly for CES -- apparently there are 20K less people attending.. by the size of the press crowd at the pre-opening party, I think the press had nothing else to do but come to Vegas.

Other than that I got nothing except 5 more nights before the Buffaloians' Bingo & Buffet Bash.
