Today we are unveiling the new WhitePaged gallery system.

This system will allow us to add comments, ratings, suggestion, deep navigation, tags, tag navigation, reporting tools, bookmarking tools and more to galleries.

It will also convert the appearence of the gallery as such:

The system makes several logical assumptions to make this conversion, like what link to use. However, it is far from perfect, so we allow you to over-ride our translation using new meta tags. These new tags will no conflict with existing SEO tags. They also enable you to provide us all the data associated with a given gallery, so it will enable us to greatly speed up submissions, perhaps only taking lists of urls. Also, we intend to allow people to submit more galleries in general, as well as more at one time.

I can live with the hotlinking if I'm still making sales.

but adding new tags to every single gallery? i'm going to see how the new system handles my submits. I have like 600 in their system, that would not be a fun activity.

TarPy lost all credibility with me when cliphunter became what is essentially an illegal tube site.

So you are ok with someone adding headers, footers, whatever to your galleries?

I can't say I'm thrilled about these changes, but I'm going to see what happens with this. Pichunter usually does pretty well for me.

He's obviously not interested in whether his submitters make sales, he's just looking to add all his links to the top and bottom of more pages. Unfortunately the masses will still submit galleries.

What a bunch of crap - a submitter goes to all the work to make a gallery and he tacks a good two dozen links to it - pure BS IMO

Got this email this AM as well. Not a good move for submitters IMHO. Not only does it add his links to header/footer it removes any design and layouts. Ouch! Makes all the galleries look the same? Hmm Why submit at all |huh

And you wonder in these times how to make nice and original sites that can attract possible buyers/surfers and then something like this is killing everything with it's "no soul" apperance and makes your work useless.
Why make things worse ?

Takes away those annoying banners we all like to put on our galleries as well it looks like.

Yeah Im really trying hard to understand why anyone would continue to submit?

I can see what TarPy is trying to do, but it's at the expense of his submitters.

By converting all of these submitted galleries on hundreds of domains into pages hosted on his domain he's adding hundreds, or even thousands, of pages to enhance his own SE rank. (think blog and how well they do in the SERPs)

He's out to get his, fuck everyone else.

I spoke with Tarpy some time ago and he very much wants the galleries to look more like a google listing than anything. no animated gifs or anything. So I can't say I was surprised with the email this morning.

It sucks because I've made a lot of sales on that site and don't want to stop submitting there.

Google takes one thumb and links it to your gallery. Tarpy wants to rip all the thumbs on your gallery to his server, remove your ads, then add in his stuff and still have you host the conetnt..

all i see is another way to screw the submitter out of sales .personaly im Glad i dont submit there and will be sure to add it to my list of places Never to submit to .sad sad is all i have to say

I've only been submitting galleries for the last 6 months and was making more money than I ever did off free sites from pichunter alone. Hope it keeps up with the changes, can't see why not, there's still 2 links to your sponsor on the page and they may get more traffic than before. Also making galleries just got a whole lot quicker.

How long do you think the TGP/Link list model as it is will be around for anyway?
Think about a surfer from 5 years from now, I think they'd open our sites, laugh, and close it.

i realize its adapt or die. But its already getting harder to make sales and with more sites going the tube route in giving away much longer clips and more free shit, I don't see it getting better :(

I decided I'm going to give this a chance. Going to try it out and see if I'm still making sales or not. The worst thing that could happen is its not performing for me any longer and then I'll stop submitting there.

And what about recips?
Krawl will probably still require them together with recips to 2 other established TGPs. But will the other 2 TGPs list the gallery knowing that none of the krawl network traffic will ever see their recip?

Even after reading TarPy's multiple post explanation of what he's trying to do with this change I still fail to see where it has any benefit whatsoever to the submitter.

We wont know the benefits until we try. Worst thing that could happen is I stop making sales and stop submitting to krawl. I re-subbed a few of these gals in whitepage format and traffic to the sponsor seems normal so far.

Let us know how things workout for you.

will do.. I'm trying to be optimistic. Theres not many TGPs these days that give this kind of traffic without buying a submit passes. I made my $100 application fee back within days of of joining Krawl, lots of free traffic over the years. Least I can do is at least try this new system and see if I still make sales.

I am liking the new tagging system.

The whitepaged galleries seem to be generating the normal # of clicks to the sponsor so far. Traffic has always varied from niche to niche on krawl. I think its going to take a couple months to see, as my galleries on that site tend to do better once they are deep in the archives.

made my first sale on a whitepaged gallery yesterday.

I know the sales text sucks now, but I think when you have quality content and the links are in a nice large bold font like that, surfers will click thru and buy if they like what they see.

Hope they keep coming.

How many "white paged" galleries submitted thus far...and is the ratio about the same = sumbits to joins as the older layout

so far I'm just going back and resubmitting my older galleries that I otherwise would have had to fix to remove animated gifs and such. I'm resubmitting a few per day. It seems pretty normal so far.

I think its still worth my time to at least resubmit the 3 allowed times on whats already in there. I'm not going to be back into gallery building mode for a month or so.

I should also point out that I am starting to put in the optional meta tags so my links use better sales text than just 'see more at big bj chicks' or whatever. You can specify the text for both links.
