Elitedollars is refusing to pay me
 

Just wanted to share an experience with fellow webmasters:

After well over a year since I signed up with Elitedollars, I finally passed the $100.00 min payout. I built freesites promoting them, and I thought some of my hard work was paying off a bit...

But I was wrong...when a few weeks passed and I did not get paid, I sent an inquiry to "vipesh", and that person forwarded my request to Mitza Malli. Five more days passed, and I heard nothing. I tried to check my account and my login info no longer worked. I followed up with Mitzi and got this:

"your account has been banned for fraud"

They have not responded to my email asking about this so called fraud.

So this is how it works, eh...I build sites, send them traffic, get signups, and they avoid paying me by making some bullshit fraud claim??? No warning, no negotiation, no nothing...they just cut me off from my account and my money.

There was no wrong doing on my part, and they are refusing to pay me money I legitimately earned.

Times are tough, but when sponsors stop paying out money to their affiliates offering nothing but a terse, one sentence accusation, there's something very wrong.

There's lots of good sponsors out there as I've come to learn in my two years in this biz, but now I know first hand there are those who will FUCK YOU.

Damn shame...

I believe DeeCash owns EliteDollars now. They own many programs.

Sorry to see you get hurt from this, but rest assured your post will lkely cost them more than $100...

I do believe in letting them have their say though...I hope sincerely that they will pay you.

Snivelling out of a $100 debt can cost thousands to a program when the people who provide most of their income find out about it.

Be thankful they don't owe you more, and if you have a list handy of sites you've subbed to me promoting them I'd be glad to delete them.

I'd bet the signup codes still work on all of them so even though they claim fraud, they'll still get their share.

I think that this is all just a big mistake Luscious. Sorry about that. Knowing you and starting the biz around the same time.

I had a fucker do that shit to me in 98 or 99. I was pissed to no end. I'm still pissed about it. Unless they pay you, Elite Dollars will never see a single hit from me.

Yep, I'm going to get this together and post. I will leave the sites up on my end, but I sure as hell don't want to send them more traffic.

Why wait? This is just one more incedent of many. Do a search on this and many other boards for threads regarding Dee's evil empire.

All of those programs have been on my banned sponsor list for quite some time.

I had similar story with RageCash, another Dee's program, and whats interesting I've been using revshare links only.
My account has been finally unbanned but I was told noone left message why it was banned and naturally I didn't get the money they owed me before account has been reactivated

In this case I have NO PROBLEM with changing ads , links and content ( only if fits to Title and Description of course ) . Why you want send those fuckers free traffic ?

I've been cleaning up the links at Cleo's Links and sadly the most removed sites from my LL's database has been my own sites due to dead/redirecting sponsor ads on my free sites.

unfortunately, IT DID HAPPEN. I dont think LD came here to spout off about false accusations. So what sucks is that a honest webmaster - as far as I know - was accused of fraud and withheld payment. So now what?

Thank you for unbanning my account and responding in this thread. I did change the linking codes on the sites in question, so now I will need to change them back.

I think I allowed plenty of time to get this resolved before I posted publically. I went over the $100 min on 5-6-09, and after doing an inquiry I only rec'd a one sentence email saying I was banned for fraud. When I tried to get additional info, I got nothing.

I am not one to flame or participate in board drama...I'm usually here asking questions about technical stuff...but I take the word "fraud" very seriously as I am trying to grow my business and reputation, and i wanted to share what had happened with other webmasters.

I appreciate your getting this resolved.

NY Yester, programs these days are getting attacked my massive amounts of fraudulent webmasters... ( 100's of them daily )
We created a system to detect and ban these people... even this far that I locked down our programs on manual approval for webmasters..

Unfortunately on any new system some slip through that are not supposed to be banned...we are working hardcore on making sure in the near future this does not happen again... to prevent all this our sales staff is available 24/7 to make sure to deal with it fast..

Unfortunately I cannot personally monitor every single webmaster board out there.. thats why on every new site post/thread/affiliate program webmaster page we have our list of support staff ready for every webmaster out there...

Well it sounds as if the software doing this needs to be redone. The OP states they have been promoting you for a year. Perhaps if the webmaster has been promoting you for such a long time and has been making legitimate sales during that time, a thorough manual check should be done before banning them.

Anyway, I'm just glad that you are paying them...nothing more for me to say. Credit to you for at least doing that...

Nickbauww, I am not disputing the fact that there is fraud, both by webmasters and programs alike. I was simply stating that it sucks when honest hard working webmasters get caught up in BS and then have to prove themselves to get their money. honestly, I think if he were going to fraud "you" he'd of not done so just to make his minimum. I just hope it all gets worked out.

I think you should give him triple the money for his troubles.

Wow........... I had never experienced anything like that (except when IBILL failed YEARS AGO!) They withheld my money, and I still have never received it.

However, I am with Rude, and I have done VERY well with them, and they have paid me ontime everytime. Just to let you guys know. (Evidently rude is one of their sites) http://www.rude.com/jacklynlick

The only thing I don't like about rude is that if someone goes there, and they click ANYTHING else other than the join page, I don't get credit for that person joining. But, to their credit, the people that I knew joined up under me (specific fans), I let them know and I was paid. But, it was too hard for me to try to keep track of everyone, so, I don't promote them as much anymore. Great site though!

Nick, I went to your webmaster page which showed several contacts. I emailed "Vipesh", affiliate manager, who in turn emailed mitza, who in turn told me my account was banned for fraud.

I did not know I was supposed to contact you after having corresponded with two people at Elitedollars...There are six contacts on your contact page, and there is no mention that you are the one to contact in situations like this.

I certainly appreciate your stepping in and getting this problem resolved, and had I known you were the person who would fix things, I certainly would have contacted you first...
