I just had a brainfart & I need more info before I can go on :)

I think i average 3 a week.

I used to submit almost every day. I'm planning on starting again :)

I'll be at 2-3 a week within a month.

I reckon it will be around 2-3 per week in a month or so

About three per week at the moment, but it should be one per day. I've hit a rough patch lately, but regular building has resumed.

I'll get back to building more soon, likely 1 or 2 a week as well as galleries. I need to rework some AVS sites first so that I have something I want to promote other than cam girls and dating sites.

When I'm building them, I submit 6 a week normally. Hopefully sometime soon I'll start building again and it'll be 12 (2 per day).

When cruising along I can do around 12-15 a week. As of late it's been a lot less because some other projects have taken hold. Soon it should be back to those numbers and stay there for awhile as I'm going to build plenty in the reserve tank too.

I haven't submitted in about 5 years but that is about change.

At one time 2 per day, now 0.

0 for awhile will have one tonight prob then hope to do one a day for a bit get back to speed on them :)

When most LL's had traffic, I was submitting a freesite each day. Now I might do 1-2 a month if that.

I wish I had the ability to submit multiple free sites every day, but there are just too many other demands on my time. Looking back over the last 15 months my average is 5.53 free sites submitted per month. I'd really like to at least double that, which my logs show I was doing back in December and January, so I know it's possible. Of course I'd have to ignore some other projects to do that, so the trade-off really needs to be worth it.

Or the short answer... about one a week.

I am now back to building and submitting and will be doing 2 sites a day and submitting time to get back into the swing of things. I build at least 5 a day but have been bad at submitting them that is going to change now.

I also submit 3 tgp galleries a day, and have done that for a long time.

Im unstable - depends what time allows, but a maximum of 1/day.

Daily submits of free sites, tgp galleries, blog posts, SE work, and misc. building and uploading, as well as keeping up with a few boards(and mine) and my own private tgps and traffic generators...
but i'm lazy so thats about all each day..

Other than some bronchitis MadHatter and I have been fighting for weeks, we are doing great. Adopted a bunch of feral cats, and have been getting them all fixed, took some in our house is about the only new exciting thing in our lives, lol. Mostly its just work and enjoying each other and our cats. :)

Well by the end of this month i'll have well hit my goal of a 120 new free sites built in various niches and sponsors, so as to re-evaluate them for the rest of the year and this winter to come...going to be doing alot of comparisons and see what converts the best for me in these times...going to be fun, interesting, and i think worthwhile :)

Good for you! I've been doing a lot more TGP submits, have paid accounts with Tommy's, Richards Realm, and Pink World. That has helped us alot...been doing 3 a day for a few years now. Just started re-submitting free sites in bulk to try and beef the income up more.

We also run several blogs, and use twitter and facebook to to work the social networks to promote our sites. Always trying new avenues to get surfers in front of the porn.

For me, up-selling my AVS sites still beats hands down any sponsor I push. I do a lot of micro niche fetishes, plus we have been creating exclusive 3D content now for a few years, and have some big 3D sites. Still amazes me at times I can sell picture only sites as well as I do. |thumb

I'm curious, the people that don't submit free sites any more, why not?

You do all TGP/Pic Post/Twitter/FB/Something else instead?

I know I originally stopped doing as many because with paid TGP submits, I could get much more traffic in front of my galleries than my free sites.

But, free sites still sell for me, so now I'm doing both to try and beef up my income. And I can only submit so many TGP's a day, and this gives me twice the exposure, even if it doesn't give me 2x the traffic.

Quoted for truth. I'm working on building up a bunch of blogs. Both tube blogs and regular picture blogs. Both niche based ones as well as a whole porn star network. I have a lot of work to go.

I know we had talked about AVS sites and i purchased a bunch of content and have been so lazy on that front getting that out the gates. Ugh. It's one thing that before year end NEEDS to get going.

Bah. So much work to get done. What I will say is I'd rather be in that position with ideas to try then not have a clue of what to work on. |thumb

Less traffic, less sales, basically less ROI. Add to that the strict rules that hinder (yes I know they are there for a reason - bookmarkers to the LLs - I've zero problem with that, and wouldn't try and tell a LL owner what his or her rules should be), and it's a far better use of my personal working time to produce sites that I have 100% control over my amounts of content, ads, popunders, sales text, questionable blind links, amount of link trades, and so on.

I hear the people who say they do FS as an addition to those types of sites, but personally speaking, I do an additional same type of site, where I can do all the aforementioned (1st time I've ever used that word I think lol).

Anyway, there's my reasons for no longer doing free sites :)

Did a run of free sites late last year for a month, and made some sales. Not really worth my time, but still you can get a bit of traffic.

Would start again if the LL / Freesite model reinvented itself .. eg more content, more sensible recip rules, allow a ton more recips or possibly a single main page with them all, allow more marketing and marketing methods, etc etc. Oh and getting with the times and allowing submitters like Chameleon ... the days of manually submitting are long gone and unneccessary.

I think freesite submits are still worth doing for a newbie or someone where getting an extra few sales a month is a big deal, but for higher volume peeps its probably not worth the time.

Are you saying we got too clean? This was touched on in last week's OTB
