How was July for you?
Not good for me. Overall click through rate for all sites was way down from last month.
In some cases as much as half. Traffic was about the same. |
Outstanding here. The best of this millennium. :)
|
july was very slow for me to... :(
more traffic less sales |goodnight |
Not bad for me, sales about the same.
|
It was the best month that I have ever had since I've been in this business. No shit it really was, I'm one happy old whore right now. :)
|
I did a major house cleaning this month, didn't build as much stuff, but spent time cleaning up and making things better. July as a result was about the same as June for sales, but the future is much clearer and the situation easier to manage. I look for August and especially September to be really big recovery months.
Now I just have to get back and finish up all my customer work so I can get my stuff done! :-) Alex |
Cleo, glad to here it. Congrats!
Alex I was the same. I spent the entire month in Halifax so building wasn't my biggest priority but I did still manage to do some. Mostly I worked a few other things. I have a few things on the go and am expecting September to be my best month ever. We shall see. ;) |
July was excellent. Oddly enough I tied my sales exactly with June so June was excellent too. Two good months in a row, I'm just looking for the valley to come. |escape|
|
July was pretty decent here, my LL traffic went up about 50% compared to june.
|
My July broke my previous best record for revenue :-)
My actual traffic was down but revenue was well up. I'm just hoping its not a fluke and continues this way Pervy |
July was very decent for me, Im also using more bandwith which is a good sign for me (and its not hotlinked bw).
|
5% better than June, which is much better than the 10% I lost from May to June.
|
Best month of this year for me.|jester| I hope I can do at least the same in August, although I am pesimistic about it.
|
July was the best month this year...traffic and revenue up about 10% over June. Unfortunately, I advertise Max Cash sites a lot, and the change to monthly signups is not a good omen... |pissed|
|
how do u guys keep track of this
do you just look thru your deposits or do you write down every check that comes in do you use sponsor stats bank statements maybe ???? |
I use RevStats for the up-to-date totals & my own records for how much I brought in during that calander month - I was up %5 for both :)
|
I pretty much just track checks as they show up in my mailbox. I keep a spread sheet of expenses and income and have it make pretty charts to look at.
|
July was also my best month to date too. This year I decided to change tactics over the summer and it has really been working for me. I am looking forward to Sept to see how things go once we are out of the traditional slowdown period.
cheers, Luke |
I don't know why but for me Summer is the best months for sales. Now that I have said that just watch sales drop |jester|

I was using RevStats as well but decided StatsRemote was enough :-) Pervy |
so you put all your passwords in there ?????

Yes.
Your personal login details and numbers are stored encrypted on your hard drive. StatsRemote does not have access to your personal login details and numbers at any time. You can verify this with a network monitor to check what data is actually sent where. Its a sad reflection on the world today that people have to feel so paranoid. Pervy |
Stats Remote rocks
|
RevStats:
"Is your site secure? We take your privacy and security very seriously and we have taken every step to keep data safe and secure. You may notice, for instance, that our member area is protected by Secure Socket Layer encryption. Our emphasis on privacy and security is one of the reasons we are trusted by so many of the top properties on the Internet. See some of our testimonials." StatsRemote: "I have security concerns. Are my user names and passwords safe? When using our software your personal login details and numbers of the supported affiliate programs and pay per click search engines are stored encrypted on your hard drive. We do not have access to your personal login details and numbers at any time. Before StatsRemote checks your stats the software will connect to our server in order to check whether you are authorized to use the software. No information except the StatsRemote username and password is sent to our server at any time. You can verify this yourself by using a network monitor which analyzes all network activity." |

http://www.revstats.com/order.asp http://www.statsremote.com/download.php What does RevStats have that StatsRemote doesn't? Does RevStats have a support message board anywhere? Are these the two big ones around? Any others worth looking at? |

Revstats is accessable over the web, which is nice as it means I could check my stats whilst on holiday or whilst out drinking in the evening. It also produces a lot more graphical data about your stats. On the downside Revstats shows info for every site in a sponsor program which is a bit of overload, it would be nice if you could turn that off and just see the sponsor total (although maybe you can now) StatsRemote is quick and easy to see the basic numbers, but it doesnt give some of the finer detail, although there are ways to find it. StatsRemote's graphing functions and data export capabilities are not as good. Both programs are very good, I use StatsRemote only at the moment but plan to re-subscribe to RevStats in the not too distant future. Pervy |
Pervy,
Thanks for the response. I can see how web access would be cool to have. Though, imagine if they were hacked. Not likely, but still... I'll do the trials for both and see for myself. :D |
July was an Awesome month for us and our webmasters
that some of them will be in Miami on us http://pussycash.com/internex.asp |bananna| |

I live RevStats over the others because it give you just that - info on each site in each program. If I need to know how TeenTeenTeen from Flash Cash is doing against Club Pix from CE Cash, I can do that with the click of the mouse. And you can just look at the totals for the programs as well - so if you wanted to know how Flash Cash as a whole was doing against CE Cash as a whole, it's just a click away :) There's a shitload of other reporting options too - too many to list here :) |

I'm using stats remote too - great app, and a time saver! - All the info you need to manage your #s. If you are not using a program like this you must have to much time on your hands! :)
June was my best month this year - July slightly better still - nice, seeing as I was anticipating a drop with the Summer - Fuck, the dollar is on the climb too - God Bless America! Cheers, Paul. |
I'm definitely going to have to check out revstats...sounds like it could definitely help out with time issues.
I have to say I was looking for a serious summer slowdown here, because the rugrats were out of school and I basically was taking the summer off. Was expecting things to go way down, but June sales were up, and July was definitely the best month I have had so far. I do have to say though that August so far is definitely off to a crawl for me |sad| Another week and I am back to work though, so that should help pull things up. Can't wait to get back to working....although I wouldn't have traded this summer with the kids for anything, was one of the best summers I can remember ever having, and I'm thankful that I found my way into a biz that made it possible for me to have it. Definitely made all of the late nights and long hours worth it. |
July was my highest $ month to date, but shit...that seems to happen every month. Continue to grow...or continue to complain. The choice is yours:

Jay,
You think if you were just starting out now instead of late 2001 you'd have the same rate of success? |

IMO StatsRemote shits all over Revstats, and if you want more detail from you SR, you just have to be able to import a spreadsheet.
Portability... you can carry SR around on a floppy, or have a copy online and its accessible from anywhere DD |
