Got to sit & chat with my mom yesterday & it was actually nice :D Even though we're both vaccinated, we had to sit outside with masks on & no contact.

Just work planned for the daytime today, but we are going out to dinner at some new BBQ joint with Yell & his woman once The Bitch gets off work |thumb

Yesterday i finally took care of getting a new pair of glasses for going out as those broke. Still had computer and work outside glasses (I could drive with those) so been slacking as I knew it was going to be pricey to replace those and it was |banghead|

Good news, we received almost half of the 12K our government owes us in the past few days |banana|

Bad news is it looks like they processed our 2020 taxes but not our 2019 (they were mailed in really late) as of yet. Hope we get a letter or something about this because I'm not sure how to move forward with that.

Got a doctor appt today and besides that it's the usual biz/tv/nap.

Good morning... another nice day out there but not unbearably humid. I may take my laptop outside and work on the deck.

Got my Judas Priest tix on the pre-sale this morning at 10am. It's scheduled for November. Hoping it happens.

Day One of desktopless computing. I managed to get all of the gallery stuff onto my flash drive, but I didn't grab any of my personal stuff. Yesterday afternoon, it bit the dust and won't boot all the way. I think the data is safe as we do see a desktop eventually, but it keeps rebooting - motherboard or SSD boot drive bad. Harsh part - there are very few repair places here anymore, and it is summer so people close down for vacation. The only businesses that really shut down were restaurants, bars, gyms, and offices. Stores stayed open the entire time. I do have a new one on order, but for a few days I have to wait... and wait... and wait. Then we drive to go get it.

Too hot here ... waiting for a breeze before i can think. Time to go to the marina and drink beer i think!
