List of Dead Link Lists

http://adult-boss.com/traffic/dead_link_lists/
Owner of newpornvideo.com sent me this after declining my site for listing dead LL recips.

May be useful if it is in fact accurate. Seems to be mostly accurate but there are still quite a few on there which are actually active.

E.g:
pornofuckfinder.com
porndirectory.com
coolhardcore.com

swedguy 2005-11-23 01:12 PM

cybererotica.com
cyberverifier.com
pleasurebank.net
savesmartdvd.com

Useful list. They have paysites and shops listed under dead Link Lists :)

debauchery.com had sent me a few e-mails recently, noticed that fressites submitted 6-8 mohts ago was approved...almost dead

MrYum 2005-11-23 01:43 PM

At a glance, I see at least 3 sites on that list that are far from dead.

I know the owners of debauchery and adultlinkpost...they're both way behind on reviews, but the sites are far from dead. While it may take a while to get listed, they do send quality traffic. I'll be leaving them on my submit list |thumb

Not sure about harrymuff, but I spoke with him a few weeks ago and all was well. Again, perhaps he's just fallen behind on reviews.

Given the above, I wouldn't put much credibility in that list. It may well be that the submitter builds crappy sites and has trouble getting listed.

The only real way to ascertain whether a link site is worth submitting to is to do the research yourself. Submit a few sites...if you don't get listed, contact the owner. If the owner doesn't respond in a reasonable amount of time...THEN dump em.

But, a list like that online...put up by someone who you have no idea of their credentials, nope...wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw a city bus.

I completely agree. Having another look I think there are definately more than a few on the list that are active.

I think I'll point the LL owner who uses this list to this thread.

Just noticed a couple more as I was closing that window...lol

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that linkforsex and scorpiolinks are not dead lists :D

Yea, folks be very careful about using an unknown list like that...you could end up missing out on some of the better link list traffic available to you.

docholly 2005-11-23 02:06 PM

after reading it ..i'm thinking he is posting an opinion list because to my knowledge Red Cherry, Scorpio, etc have never been dead or even behind.. so i have no idea where that is coming from.

Altho, from the submitters point of view, as much loyalty that I feel towards sites like adultlinkpost and debauchery, still, a 6 month delay in reviewing is starting to get to be pretty worrying.

I mean, with people going out of business left and right these days, it suggests that these sites are such low priority for their owners that they could very easily collapse.

It's not very kind to loyal submitters.

looks curiously like a subset of this:

Thanks for the list. But I don't think it's perfect because I see some working linklists there. But sometimes we can really say that LL is dead:

1) 404 error or something like PPC Feed.
2) No new sites in the list for a very long time.

caringneo 2005-11-23 09:29 PM

I would also say, you create your own list of dead linklists rather than blindly following the above list. But that list surely helps you to make your own submission data base.

Yay! Filthy Earl made the list! Woohoo - I've finally been recognized for something. |bananna| I only hope that Earl was added due to

Kinda weird to list link lists & then put "non link list site" after them |crazy|

vanVulture 2005-11-24 01:35 AM

As much as I tried to resist, neveremail, I'm done with your anal, bullshit, dead link list posts |angry|

*delete*

I'm putting that list on my List of Inaccurate Dead Link Lists List

Yahook 2005-11-24 02:58 AM

vanVulture, his list isn't correct but I know that there are lots of linklists that are not updated for a long time :(

No shit. That list is as useful as making a complete list of all LL's, TGP's and candy shops and promote it as a "Working Link Lists list" and at the same promote it as a "Dead Link Lists list".

I'm not going to bother to get off that list. If people are stupid enough to follow a list where there's clearly many active LL's and non-LL's, then that's their fault.

I did email the guy who was rejecting my sites for having recips which were on this list to say the list is not much good and pointed him to this post but haven't heard anything back yet.

Yahook 2005-11-24 04:55 AM

Yes, I have to agree, this list is useless ;)

flyeruk 2005-11-24 06:26 AM

Well, one of my linklists also made the list... but it's only dead for cheaters who made the blacklist :o)

You hit the nail on the head.

I think Surfn was implying that you were the one with the hammer:)

More proof that this is an inaccurate list is that my ll is not listed. My linklist is far worse than many of the ll's listed but it is not on there. |cry|

flyeruk 2005-11-24 08:27 AM

Ahhh, I see...|blowkiss|

Sometimes I'm not quite with it!
