Deciding who and where to submit strategy

I was thinking of going through the first 2 or 3 pages of Google for search terms related to the content on the free site I build. From broad phrases to specific phrases...

From there I was thinking of dealing with any smaller lists that post here at least semi regular.

Does this seem like a good strategy?

I am going to collect recips as Dreamweaver Snippets organized by category.

Sound like a plan?

That's one way to do it :)

Best I could come up with as far as time spent vs traffic results.

I'm sure I'll start out with many and over time weed out some that don't produce anything.

That is pretty much what I do right down to keeping snippets in GoLive.

About once a month I look through my server stats to see who is listing me and remove anyone that isn't sending traffic.

I also try to try new places ever now and then but I'm lazy so I don't as much as I probably should.
