Not hotlinking the penisbot recip would be a bloody good start...

You have a broken recip image on the warning page and all of your content needs to be in the same directory as the rest of the site.

I didn't hot link the recip from the PenisBot site. Tried to follow their instructions as best I know how.

I checked for broken links on warning page, but couldn't find any.

I'm confused about the directory for the site's content (pics) thing. Could you give me an example of what you mean?

Pics need to be in the same folder as the rest of your site, not in some folder someplace else on your server.

What Wazza is saying is.... Your penisbot recip image comes up as a broken link... have you uploaded it to your server? Perhaps double check that.

Its calling http://www.penisbot.com/buttons/172x...n-links1-2.gif but it must not be there

What Cleo is saying is that your content is not being called from within the free site you made.

Your site seems to still have some issues.

1. You need to get the image for penisbot's recip and upload it to your server. As it stands, it is still a broken image because you are calling it from penis bot.

2. Cleo would like to see your content in the same folder as your site.

why dont you put your content in a folder within that site... something like:

for thumbs:

That will keep that free site as a complete package.

I visited the site in question:

Penisbot link was broken.

I click on the enter link, and I end up in a different folder on the site. Not good.

Went ot gallery 2. 100% of the thumbs are broken. When I click on them, I get images - and all of the images are "headless performer pics". This leads to the obvious questions of 2257, model releases, and such. I clicked 10 pictures, never saw a head.

I can't find much right on this one. So many reasons to say no, so few to say yes.

Alex, while I know you are right... I am sure ewriter ia a newbie here... and as such is posting on the right board to get some good help. You as an experienced webmaster can surely offer a heap of knowledge and assistance that will help ewriter on the right track :)

Bring warning box down and title and text to very top of page. Instead of font size tags, use

,etc. This will help with se's.
The text underneath the recips(penisbot still broken) won't really serve you any purpose because it is left alone. Use it to pull the surfer in and make it a link.
You only have one link to sponsor, link that text:)
With 2257 in the air, link your info as a good habit, get the form here

Oh, use mouseovers to hide your referral code, need help with that just ask.

Your thumbs are really small, nobody has said anything about it so it might be ok. That's the same banner you used on main page, mix it up a bit.
Okay, none of your images on gallery 2 are working yet, the directory thing other people were talking about and if you don't get them to click on the banner on warning or main, they probably won't click on same banner on gallery one or two.
Meta tags are good things, use them.
Make your titles similar to keywords.

Kezza, I am not intending to make this a put down or anything. I found 3 major reasons to NOT list the site, and honestly found few reasons TO list it.

It's a simple stuff, index - inside - gallery 1 gallery 2 . 2 to 3 sponsor links on a page, everything in the same folder, everything opens in the same windows.

Dump off all the other stuff, make simple sites, and get listed. Don't try to make a world beater right out of the box, just keep it simple and build sites that get listed - add the complications and special tools later. Keep it easy.

I have made the corrections mentioned and have added a 2257 notice. My link to Penisbot appears to be working now.

The recip is STILl broken. You are trying to get a graphic from:

You can probably see it because you have it cached. We can't because they have anti-hotlinker tools in place.

Your site is still in mutliple folders, not useful at all.

Did you actually change anything?

I see what you mean with the PenisBot button. I'll get that fixed.

I'm confused about the multiple folder thing though. Are you saying that you want the index, mainpage, pics, and the galleries all placed under ........../lindasplace001/?

The reason I have the mainpage, pics, and galleries in the /lindasplace folder is that this folder is a "clean" site with no recipts. I am-was trying to save bandwidth on my server. I had planned to use the clean site on a hub or perhaps an AVS.

you must have the whole site in the same folder. pictures you dont.

you should have
yourdomain.com/lindasplace01/ (warning page)
yourdomain.com/lindasplace01/main.htm (gallery selection page)
yourdomain.com/lindasplace01/gallery1.htm-gallery3.htm

for the next set of linklist make it lindasplace02

and as far as i have seen you can put all your PICTURES thumbnails and fullsize in one folder, i.e. yourdomain.com/lindasplace/images/

but all html files must be in the same folder for that set of linklists.

Finally figured out what you were saying. Damn, I can be so dense sometimes ;)). Fixed the penisbot button and moved the folders into ....../lindasplace001/
