Pricks.
If there are any bulkers or hax0rs reading, do us all a solid and use that email for your spoofed reply to field. Hook a brother up. |
Time to post that email around the place.:) |pissed|
Think I might write him a quick letter |angry| DD |
Damn... fucking scumbags |raygun|
|
What's funny is Mark actually sent the registrar the money to renew but they are such idiots the domain stayed locked by their admin. It's funny how someone could buy it unless they are part of that registrar in question. :(
|
Any chance to sue these m*f*ers ? |angry| Fuck them !.

Sent an email to the above email addy - no response yet, will send another tomorrow, and a certified letter to who is addy after that if needed.
Also looking at the legel crap re totalnic, not sure how far to pursue given lawyers aren't that cheap. |
Dare - might help although I noticed that this holding company is registered through Capital Pty which I think was your original domain registrar? They also seem to have quite a few (500 or so) Aussie domains and Nz sounding names listed in their reverse for their IP - 208.160.157.3 (wilhardholdings.com)

I would think this is someone within the registrar selling these. I'm sure someone could sue the hell out of them.

I dont know the full story or what markslinks was, but I would say that you have 2 courses of action here.
1) Report the domain as having incorrect whois. Thats not a valid UK postcode or telephone/fax number and is technically a breach of the registration agreement. 2) Go after the registrar, especially if the renewal was paid. It would appear that they *may* operate a similar system to another well known registrar whereby if renewals arent paid, they go into a pool for their subscribers before they actually go through the full deletion process (the giveaway is the domain creation date). If they have made an error then they should be able to reassign it to you. I know that the other registrar can do this as it has happened to me in the past. Of course if I have totally missed the point on all this then just ignore all of the above ;) |
Any update on this?
|
3 certified letters - all returned :(
Still pluggin away at it though. |
I don't want to be the only ass here but if you actually let this name expire it is more than legit that it got registered by someone else.
I mean... how stupid can one be... when I let one of my names expire I get at least 25 emails before it actually happens.... just my 2 cents |
just read the renewal paid part...
thats different of course :) |

Trax, Mark had posted the whole incident on this board before. He didn't let it expire. It was an issue with payment to registerar. Neo |
