Who Knows Something About Gambling Sites?

(Admin -- please don't send this to another forum) :)

Would anyone be good enough to tell me where I can learn more about setting up a gambling site? Online resources, people I can chat with on icq, maybe you could even answer some of my questions.

I'm also in the market for anyone who has experience in creating such sites. If you know someone, I'm sure they will be keen to pay you a referal fee. I'm looking for something top notch.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

It's illegal to own such a site in the U.S. so you might check into your local laws first. I'm not sure what sort of laws London has when it comes to income from gambling/casinos.

I know Canada allows it but you need to get a license to run the sites.

Thanks, Rictor. Food for thought. :)

Still hoping for others to jump in on this! :)

Hi Kristian! I know in NY state in tghe US of course running a gambling casino on or offline is illegal. But the question of whether refering users through advertisement is still up in the air. The attorney general is curently trying to push the agenda that any site that links to an online gambling site is doing something illegal. The courts have yet to become involved. I think when they do it will either become a civil liberties type case depending if whomever they target has the resources or they will simply call it illegal and write a new law. The state gov here has a tendency to just slam a fist down every once in a while. On it`s way back up it usually has large wads of money in it too!

Another concern is I believe governments may be targeting those sorts of operations due to the possibility that finances could be tyainted or exploited in a terrorist fashion seeing as they are usually in places not many can touch legally.
